2 star hotels in Chiang Mai City

Very nice and clean place. Breakfast was ok. Pool unfortunately couldn't use it as it was dirty first day and rest of days sun was shinning on the other side of hotel. Staff absolutely amazing, tried to help us with any enquiries although their english very poor...overall very happy with our stay

Not a bad place to stay at but there are definitely better options around the neighborhood and cheaper too. I must have to say the breakfast was pretty good. It was a hot breakfast with a good variety of food.

Nice rooms, a little pricey for what they are but good that they allow monthly rentals. Staff were helpful and friendly but didn’t speak much English. On the downside the room wasn’t clean at all and there were lots of ants as well as some spiders and a cockroach!

Good WiFi, clean rooms, and the bestmotorbike rental place in town located in the parking lot. Rates are super reasonable as well, if you don't want to bein tourist central I'd definitely suggest this place.

Every Thing Is Great But... Great staff, perfect location, great price, very clean, amazing AirCon, good restaurant, and the wifi was fine for me even on the 3rd floor, which is the furthest from the office. But the beds ABSOLUTELY need to be changed or get foam toppers because they are SO hard! If the staff is reading this, you should really get these beds changed before you go below a 4 star rating...

For a budget hotel, I do love to stay here again.. It's clean and cheap... The receptionist was nice and very helpful... The place also strategist inside the wall of old town... I could just walk from Night Bazzar back to the hotel...

As others mentioned, the bathrooms have mould and with that, comes a strong smell in the rooms. They also charge for every little thing, even for water in the lobby you will pay 20 Baht. One redeeming quality about the place is that you do get hot showers. I’ve stayed in several “budget” hostels in Chiang Mai and unfortunately this was one of the more challenging stays. It was a very nice place to stay in Chiang Mai. Close to most of the attractions. Room was nice and clean. Swimming pool was quite big, open 8a.m.-9p.m.

Its ok for low budget. Nice swimming pool and the food is ok. But the rooms are old and poor. Very basic. It's nice if you want to meet people. You can in the restaurant, in the smoking area or in the pool.

Super-friendly staff. Big, clean, cosy rooms (at leest the superior we got). Simple but tasty breakfast. And a very nicely decorated yard!

What a find, if you are not comfortable here think about staying home. Clean, 5 star mattresses, pool, helpful staff with smiles so wide they make you feel good. What else can you ask for when traveling. If I had paid double the price I would still be happy.

The small cozy hotel located in old town. The staff at reception is very kind. Room is included limited breakfast which not impressive, they served as a set but you may order additional with charges. The room is basic and clean but lighting is not that good for the triple loft room. Mini bar is free by the way. Lastly the proper parking lot is very limited.

Superb hotel for staying almost a week in the center of Chiang Mai. The service was great, the check-in and check-out were uncomplicated and easy. Located like this it's easy to get around by foot, bike (can be rented from the hotel) and Tuktuk. 1 point less, because we weren't allowed to do you laundry - but it was no big deal, because there is a woman nearby who offers washing and ironing.

Security man carried my heavy rucksack up stairs. Cleaned room each day. Good location. Free safe deposit behind reception. Stored luggage when we checked out. Had a cafe but only only in the day. Fantastic place!! We walked in, no booking. The staff was so friendly and we felt very welcome. The style of the rooms are somewhat out dated, wich is also part of the charm. This place is perfect, after staying 2 nights in lousy hostels and didn't got an proper sleep this was heaven. Rainbow wants to help with everything and even arranged the bus to Pai for me, all local prices so be sure of giving her some tippss The money i gave her extra she shared with the housekeeping staff. only stayed for one night. A good location for getting around chiang mai and situated on a quiet street. The pool was small but served its purpose. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and always greeted us as we came and went from the hotel. They have a hotel cat who was really sweet. The hotel is just about walking distance from anywhere in chiang mai.

This a truly special place in CM, the owners have put so much love into it and it shows, the rooms are amazing for the price, with comfy beds and a private bathroom, it feels like a luxurious hotel. Great, friendly guesthouse with a traditional Lanna feel. Rooms were cleaned daily and replenished with water and ramen :) Asked for extra pillows, to use some dishes for food, and to hold our bags when we went out of town - all requests were graciously managed without a problem. This is a rather quiet place, shielded from road noise and any other city noise. Sad part is that when guests have on their AC or turn on the TV at five in the morning, you realise it's very little to stop this noise. Nice staff, clean and cozy. Suitable for couples and family. Only thing the bed was a bit hard. Besides that mostly perfect and for the not to expensive accommodation.

It's all still pretty new, and well made. Rooms aren't large, but have everything needed (and a plenty of power outlets!), street isn't very noisy, staff is nice (and helpfull, unless you catch one of the few less-english-speaking ones), they'll keep the baggage stored for you after check-out if needed (while you go sightseeing), etc. Price is great as well. Can't give 5 stars as it's not a high-end...

Decent lower budget hotel, in old city Chiang Mai. Location is right between the park and a temple. As such, the neighborhood isn't as touristy as over by That Phae gate. The staff here is great, with a spacious lobby, and lots of food and drink amenities. They'll also book you a van to Pai, which seems to be popular. Laundry on site too. The room is clean, and the aircon is both clean and cold....

Quite cramped. But it's pretty cheap. The location is OK. But closer to thae phae gate would be better. We ended up moving to Central Guesthouse for a similar price, which was as bit better

Such a beautiful place with a lovely garden. The owners and staff are really friendly (the owners also speak English very well) and helped whenever we needed something. The location is great with plenty of things (bar/restaurant) on a 5 min walking distance. The rooms and other facilities were clean and the beds comfortable.
