The location is outstanding and almost anything a tourist could want (from day trips to motor bikes to good shopping/outdoor markets to high quality massage treatments to memorable eating) are all within close proximity

Good location, tasty breakfast with vegetarian options. Well behaved staff. Facilities like indian restaurant, money exchange,7Eleven shop,massage parlor are available just in front of the Hotel.

I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here, especially if you have a limited time to enjoy your stay in Chiang Mai. I've stayed in a few other hotels in the city, but this one offers (by far) the most convenience

The rooms are a good size, clean, well-designed, and comfortable. I'd like to add that the laundry service is affordable & fairly quick (no need to carry dirty clothes along on your trip)

The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are above-average (especially for the hotel price)

If you decide to give the place a whirl, I hope enjoy a wonderful stay

Nice place to stay while in Changmai! The hotel is a classic holiday inn , everything you need is here , location is convenient. Tuk Tuk rides only 150 thb to the main gate and all the activities and restaurants

The hotel is great for a work conference. Big rooms, big bathroom and nice features. Location is a little far from old city and night market to walk but there is a 7 Eleven across the road and a few restaruants next door

Situated on the river bank a bit off location hotel. Bit dark inside due to the choice of colours. Rooms are large and spacious but need renovation. Haven't been done up in a long time

Breakfast buffet and lunch buffet if high quality

Friendly and very helpful lady at IHG check-in, complimentary upgrade, impressive lobby area, huge clean suite with nice view, very comfortable bed, big bathroom with strong water pressure, good breakfast and dinner buffet

Little outside the main city but also away from noise. Beautiful hotel, we even got a free upgrade. Pool is little small but still doable for a quick swim. Shuttle service to night bazaar is a great gesture

A decent hotel for seminar and functions it seems. 15 min from airport without traffic

Near Chiangmai University and the room is rather spacious and decent breakfast if u like Asian cuisine since the hotel is heavy on Chinese tourists. Most importantly the rate is very reasonable !!!

This place is very good and clean. It is not far from town so you can easily go to different places by red bus which going around the town on the daily basis. Recommended this place

Old fashioned but very Thai. A conference hotel with traditional values, furnishings and food. Big rooms and little street noise. Not fancy, not boutique, but solid.

Le Meridien Chiang Mai

However, Saturday was heaving, staff seemed to struggle with the numbers, we had to wait in a queue and our coffee and drinks order took 20mins to arrive, by that time we had eaten and ready to go

We loved this hotel! From the moment we were picked up at the airport and met Ton we were treated like royalty. Our room was upgraded to a high floor with the Mountain View

We were celebrating our engagement and the staff went above and beyond decorating the room. I’d go back to Chiang Mai just to stay at this hotel and hang with Ton

Great hotel, service, location. Right next to the night bazaar. Very hospitable, from when I entered until I exited. The rooms and amenities were nice. And the breakfast buffet was great too

Would highly recommend and would return. Small comments for management: I tried a few of the cocktails included in the lounge menu, unfortunately none of them were great

We've been here 7x to eat at their different restaurants. service, food, drinks & staff are very personable. A quite cool atmosphere to relax

Old hotel that has seen grand days in the past. The rooms were clean, big and well maintained. Two complimentary bottles of water every day. The food is simple and just okay. Loved the open view from the elevator

Big rooms with excellent showers and a big bath tub. Huge swimming pool and a decent buffet breakfast. Great location if you like bars and restaurants

Great large rooms , Need clean air condition filters , then will be ok, hotel have more than 30 years, was a great experience, large swimming pool,, Hope they turn on sauna again , since covid 19 is off ,, as many places in thailand ,,

Quite an old fashioned hotel and looks a bit tired in places. Don't let that put you off though it's full of old fashioned fancy hotel charm. The lobby makes you think of the hotel from The Shining

15 minutes walk to Nimman area, or another direction into the old town, very convenient ! absolutely good value for money. during the covid-19 off season, this huge property is literally empty

Kantary Hills Hotel, Chiang Mai

However, it is located a little far from the night market and old city, about a 10 minute taxi ride. My personal experience with the hotel was excellent

I received an excellent service from Kantary Hills! I once tried to stay elsewhere but always come back to Kantary Hills. Location is nearby airport and convenience to go to local shopping centers

It's important to provide a proper space for cleaning staff to rest. Seeing them sitting in a cramped cleaning room was disheartening. They have the right to a fair and decent space to rest

Came here for their breakfast buffet. Many variety of food to chose ( Thai , English ). The food taste good. Bacon is a little rubbery hope they fix this. Service is good too.

Thanks to their efforts, I was able to enjoy a clean and comfortable hotel, but I believe their working conditions should be improved. All the staff were kind and friendly

So why move? When everything is here. For both personal and work wise, the banquet service provides an outstanding service Khun

Everyone was very friendly and the cost of accommodation was very reasonable. It just really needs a revamp or a fresh lick of paint (or 8). Would recommend their signature cocktail, "Thai Sabai"

Great place to stay, the daily breakfast is great. Starting to notice west and tear around the place that makes it look a bit aged. Staff are very helpful and friendly and have good English.

Superior service and clean establishment. Responsive and respectful staff. I booked this because I read the location was great and it actually exceeded my expectations

The rooms were very outdated and the bathrooms were not that clean. Location was good, in the hotel district. Breakfast had lots to choose from

This hotel was super convenient and location was great. It was near good bars and restaurants. Also we booked excursions from a nearby shop. The pool and included free breakfast was a plus

lovely helpful staff, location about 30 minutes walk from old town. Pool area really nice with good quality sunbeds. Overall I would stay here again if I was coming to Chiang Mai

Great location, staff is very friendly and checked us in early in the morning after we arrived on the overnight bus. Big breakfast buffet with lots of options. Rooms are big and clean. The pool is great!

I have stayed at the Empress several times over the years. The staff is ALWAYS helpful and the hotel is clean and maintained. The hotel is located close to several restaurants and not far from the Art in Paradise museum

We stayed with a family of four at the Empress for 4 days initially and booked another extra 2 days. Chiang Mai isn't that big, so the location just outside the centre of town is good and pretty quiet

We arrived early, they had a room ready. They brought complimentary fruit to the room. Then we went to the market and on arrive was surprised with more complementary goodies. The staff were so polite and friendly

Breakfast is surprisingly good and have large selection. Location also quite OK, and you can hail taxi easily to night market etc

Cheap and clean room. And this hotel has morning bufe that a lot of Asian foods! We can choose no spicy someones or spicy other ones. But it's better you can speak Thai little.

Look old building but near Chiangmai international airport, you can park your car here and then go to the airport with one night paid.

Rooms here are a bit dated, but this is reflected in the reasonable price. A good location for access to either the old city or trendy Nimmanhaimen.

I came to JM because of the reviews, and I agree with them. Terrific massage, great service, and experienced therapists, especially the masseurs.

Really beautiful but kind of old hotel. I still felt exquisite staying here despite the paint peeling from many surfaces. It kind of gave it a certain charm. The Wi-Fi is spotty but does get the job done in a pinch

The weight room is more than adequate for a traveler on holiday. There was no Netflix on this TV like many other hotels in Chiang Mai

Great hotel. Big rooms, comfy beds, huge gym, sauna, pool, bar and a great location. The age of the hotel just adds to the charm for me.

Old, but still well maintained. Very good location. Next to a mall with several food choices, and a pharmacy. Opposite a 7-11. Several restaurants around the area.

Serviceminded staff. Location are perfect. It is clean. Rooms are not top modern but works. Breakfast are good. So over all i recomend the hotel.

Location is in the middle of the night market. Plenty of places to eat. Breakfast is great. Rooms are good and clean. Staff is great.

Great location in the heart of the Night Bazaar, with easy access to everything in Chiang Mai. This is a rather tired hotel but still of a good standard

Very clean hotel and nice central location. However very loud if your room is near the road. Rooms fairly decent but bathroom is a bit dated

I lived off that fried rice and toast (waiting for the toast an adventure) with jam. The pool is dirty and there are no chairs to sit anywhere. The location is good close to everything

Lower your expectations from Western standards. Is is an economy hotel with minimal amenities. The good news it is ideally located in the downtown, tourist area of Chiang Mai

What a gem. This hotel has definitely seen better days but still a big hotel with comfy beds, big room, nice views, fantastic huge pool and breakfast included for a very cheap price.

Quiet, great service, great price. Five to ten minutes walking distance to downtown plaza. Free healthy breakfast was also wonderful.

It is walking distance to many restaurants and coffee houses. Expect clean beds and warm water but nothing in the way of hair dryers or mints on your pillow. The staff are friendly and helpful but English is limited

Breakfast was included but It's not very good, every day you have wonton soup, fried rice, noodles and vegetables, also watery scrambled or boiled eggs, sausages, toast, watermelon, tea or coffee

The location is decent, but unfortunately, my room fell short of expectations. The thin walls allowed me to hear sounds from the neighboring room, including some bathroom noise that persisted throughout the night

clean room with very comfortable bed, rain shower was warm and relaxing. 10 min walk to Maya Mall & Niman area but best to hire a car or rent a bike to make moving around more accessible.

The staff at the reception deserves high praise for their warm welcome and politeness, especially considering the chaos caused by a large Korean group tour checking in

Despite this, I would consider recommending this place to friends due to its affordability in town

The lighting control in the room was very well designed, you can control all the lights from your bedside panel. In-room amenities were limited yet effective. No place to hang clothes in case you’re here for a long stay

Dusit Princess Chiang Mai

The best thing about Dusit Princess is the location and the main reason I stay here again. The hotel itself is a bit old but the staff is friendly and helpful

Then, the other guests return to their rooms and insist on standing in the corridors to have lengthy and loud conversations - honestly, I have never experienced this at any other hotel we have stayed at

The room was very shabby, although very clean, and the 'view' was of the next door building's rooftop! Only 2 sachets of coffee and 2 sachets of coffee mate were provided

We had high hopes of this hotel when arriving in the lobby as it is very grand however its seems that it's just the lobby where money has been spent

No explanation about where breakfast is served or at what time - we had to go hunting for the restaurant which turned out to be on the 1st floor

The rooms are average, nothing special and the bathroom quite small. Buffet breakfast is good though. Overall I would say a good 3 stars hotel

Drinks and food were great - and happy hour daily is a nice bonus for cocktails! We will definitely come back. We left wishing we had booked our whole stay here

I am from the hotel industry myself and I can vouch this place is wonderful :)! (If I can have the TINIEST remark: I'd switch the lights in the dining room from bright cold white to a warm yellow)

We had an amazing 3 night stay at the chiang mai old town. It was beautiful & quiet - which is just what we needed after coming from three days in busy Bangkok

The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. We loved the easy ordering via QR code wherever you are located in the hotel

The location is perfect, with restaurants, convenience stores, dentists, and suit tailors all within easy walking distance. The restaurant and food here were also exceptional. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable

Didn't get to use the pool but looked great. Very attentive, good pleasure and staff very good at what they do. Breakfast was delicious and pretty extensive. This is a god location in old town

The breakfast is various, delicious and almost change the items everyday. The location is really convenience. But surprisingly, you hardly hear the noise from the outside street and aircraft noise

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice, and I’m impressed both times! The service is outstanding—staff members are always friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained

The location is also very convenient, making it easy to travel around. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Will definitely come back again!

Stunning hotel in the middle of local nightlife and day life. Good choice if you want to really enjoy the Thai atmosphere in the city. Orange juice isn’t natural, amazing Poole and gym facilities.

Room for improvement Their activities to be able to accept card payments. We wanted to try their event but only cash payment. We have 7 pax and we didn't expect to pay cash for activities

Super. My room is big. Lots of parking spaces. All staffs are helpful. Breakfast is great, having many choices. The only con is its' location that is out of town but easy to go to the airport, though.

Hotel with resort style locates in the city of Chiang Mai and provides some conventional meeting rooms with catering services

Wintree is a very cosy nook. Beautiful hospitality. Food is very good. Reception personnel really receive guests. So far the tariff goes it's a good choice.

Good hotel and easy car access. Average price but near many great spots in chiangmai. Cleanliness also.

Selected this lovely hotel based on my feelings from their advertised images and descriptions - and the experience did not disappoint. My room was spacious and nicely appointed

This is a true kudos! Location is as nice as it can be, peacefully nestled within the old town - close walk to the infamous Wat Phra Singh (which the hotel is named after)

Quiet little village in a small alley, the center of the old town. The village has very beautiful Lanna architecture, lots of corners to relax and take photos. The swimming pool is small enough for the children to play

The in-room coffee machine was a nice touch. All amenities were good and nicely provided. What I especially like about this hotel is their complimentary mini massage offered at the lobby - such a nice touch

To note further, the staff here were incredibly accommodating. The team went out of the way to prepare us each a box of fruits and sandwiches when we had an appointment for a trip very early in the morning

In the everage the hotel is good. It is well located, service is very helpful, rooms are spacious. I like the style of the hotel. But there are some cons: breakfast is very poor 3/5
