Very nice boutique hotel in Chiang Mai! If you are looking for a unique experience this is the place. The room was huge and clean, the housekeeping staff did a great job replenishing amenities and water everyday. The pool is great to cool down and relax, beers and food are good and affordable & the staff was great and very helpful. You can also do your laundry for very affordable rates. Would recommend this place!

One of best locations in Chiangmai. The resort has a Roman church like building for guest to walk thru. It’s super nice and the rooms are very quiet. The window are double so no sound at all in the rooms from outside. 5 min from any main point in the centre . 13 min to airport. Friendly staff

THIS IS A 2 STAR HOTEL quality AVOID. If you are looking for 5 or even 4 star experience, DO NOT come here. However, staff is helpful and nice. This place is very old, my first room had spiders and cob webs that hadn't been cleaned for a long time. They did move me to another room however everything is old and smells odd. The property is also not good. Look elsewhere than this hotel for a better price. Also staff stops working after 11pm and before 8am so you will struggle if you need anything, at those times. Avoid this place.

The hotel itself is beautiful and many people come to take Instagram photos. The staff at this hotel is absolutely amazing. Every day they greeted me with big smiles and made me feel like I was coming “home” and not just to a hotel. The location for me was good because I like to walk everywhere. Highly recommend! Thank you Ping Doi staff.

We got upgraded to a better room than we booked and it was lovely and spacious with a bath. Pool is nice but could do with seats around it under cover for the rainy season. Location is good but on the outskirts of the old town so in rainy season be prepared to order taxis which are easy and cheap to get

Strategic location in old town district (which is near local restaurants and chaim restaurant, temples, 3 kings park, sunday maeket), easy access from and to airport either using Grab application, nice and informative staffs, clean room and bathroom because i stayed at grand superior family. This hotel is fine but noisy!
Our room (rooms nearest the road/north side of square) was next to the hotels giant extractor fan which was going all day and all night. This was very noisy and not a normal level of sound you’d expect from aircon units, it was much louder. The road noise did not bother us much, I don’t think we could hear it over the noise of the giant extractor fan. I did ask if there was another room but was told ‘you paid for this room’ so we decided to stay put and use ear plugs.
The location is next to a few beautiful temples but not the best location for good food and other things to see if you’re just interested in the old town area. We did find the walk into the Center of old town did not take long though.
The hotel desk is not serviced early in the morning which was fine for us but if you’ve arrived early you may have to wait until they are open.
The pool area was nice especially on a hot day.
Overall we were disappointed with the level of noise but otherwise an okay place to stay.

One of the best hotels we ever stayed in.
I told them my wife was vegetarian and they went to great lengths to provide her with a special breakfast each morning. Super friendly staff and a stunningly beautiful hotel.

Incredibly beautiful hotel. I stayed here during Songkran and the staff were lovely, I joined them in throwing water for a bit! The room was large, air conditioner and had a deep bathtub - I had a lovely bath, much needed after weeks of traveling. I only wish I had more time to stay here and relax by the pool. I hope to come back and stay here again!
