Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak

Nice relaxing hotel north of Pueket. Beautiful sunset beach views. Although they don't keep it very clean. Breakfast is nice with a river setting. Lunch and dinner has good quality but slow service. Expensive drinks are better purchased outside. Several shops and restaurants are right outside within easy walking distance.

New five star hotel in Khao Lak. The rooms are designed for the comfort of guests. Retro style buildings At the same time with the atmosphere of the garden and the landscape of the canal, which is surrounded by tropical trees in our house. I recommend coming and relaxing

We had the package which included breakfast and another meal. All meals were excellent. The staff were so friendly and professional. Loved the main pool and also had access to a pool outside our room. A little bit of a drive from the main town but plenty to do and easy access to everything.

A very pretty hotel ideal for couples and honeymooners, as I wasn't travelling as either of those groups it got very boring seeing couples all over each other everywhere I looked. No fault of the hotel, just the clientele they attract I guess.

The rooms were exceptional, stunning and very neat and tidy. Food was great also, for all meals. The staff were kind and welcoming. I will have to visit again with my wife so I can fit in!

We had an amazing time here. The staff is out of this world, they are so friendly and helpful. The day we arrived we were amazed by the warm welcome. It felt like a VIP experience. The room is big, modern and very clean. The cleaning ladies, do a very good job and are super friendly. The breakfast is simply amazing and the staff at the breakfast is fantastic! Always smiling, always friendly, little chat and hard work. Every day there are workers doing maintenance on the hotel facilities and the green beauty around the hotel. The front desk staff ladies and gentlemen are lovely and always in for a little chat. Restaurant is great! Very comfortable, modern and delicious food! Thank you so much for making our vacation so perfect!

We booked two pool access rooms in low season for myself, husband, and our three children for 4 nights. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were very welcoming even when we arrived at 1am! This is such a perfect 5-star hotel which catered to all our needs. The pool access rooms were a massive hit with the kids, which meant us parents were able to relax whilst watching the kids have fun. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and the hotel itself is just beautiful. It's smaller than others that I've seen, but we much prefer this versus a large busy resort. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to enjoy a relaxed and tranquil setting.

Editing review, upon reflection as the rating was too harsh and written initially in annoyance after I was frustrated by smokers. It's a very nice hotel with great pools. The staff are fabulous and the beach is beautiful. It's peaceful. The room was big and well-equipped and the shower toiletries have the most wonderful lemongrass aroma. Food in the Green Mango is tasty. BUT, please separate smokers from non-smokers so people can enjoy pool-access rooms with a smokeless environment and non-smoking neighbours.

We had the best time staying at the Grand Mercure in Khao Lak Bangsak. We traveled with our 7 year old daughter and her grandparents. We all stayed in the lovely Pool Access Rooms which were very spacious, beautiful and clean with large and comfortable luxurious bathrooms. All the staff was very friendly. Especially Joey at the Green Mango Restaurant was always greeting us warmly, ready for a friendly chat and professionally served our table, always going the extra mile. We loved the live music on Mondays. Very good musicians that created a magical atmosphere at dinner. The songs were right for everyone from the youngest to the oldest guests. I also enjoyed my yoga sessions and the highlight were the many daily swims in the private pool access pool as well as the large beach pool. We enjoyed the food throughout. I would certainly to recommend staying here.
I loved that the design of the hotel allows the local wildlife to blossom, we saw plenty of frogs, lizards, dragon flies, geckos etc which were lovely to see especially for my daughter. All the gardens were beautiful too.

Stayed here for 9 nights with family of 5 in two rooms. Excellent hotel and staff.

Breakfast was included and very good.

We had a half board package which included either lunch or dinner daily and that was very good, making it outstanding value.

The kids loved the main pool and the room side pool. They also enjoyed visiting the kids club.
