Ramira City Hotel - Adult Only (16+)

Offered All Inclusive at the time of booking, but when we arrived tired at 10:30 pm after a day long travel from the UK, the reception informed us with authority that our booking is not all-inclusive (as it said in our travel voucher), and it is the fault of our travel agency for not informing us. But while we were there another group of guests booked through another(!) travel agency arrived and faced the same problem. I will leave it to you to find out who's fault it was. We got lucky and our travel agency relocated us but the other group weren't as lucky as us and I heard they slept on the hotel sofa that night and had to move to another place the next morning and pay for it themselves while they waited for the money back from this one.

The hotel makes a good first impression. But it is very loud as it is right next to the four-lane Atatürk Street. The walls in the rooms are so thin that it is embarrassing. The hygiene could also be better. That is why it only gets 2 stars.

No music, no entertainment repetitive food....
The music is so low even we can't hear it yet the staff said the manger dont allow us to put it higher.
We have only twice a day activities at the hotel Monday and Thursday ( live music) same singer everytime, we asked him to sing with hime but he didn't want to.
We literally try to make entertainment for us and other people but it was denied.
Food was good quality but almost every day the same.
Staff was very friendly all of them this hotel need more entertaining activities.
Hope they make it better.

My recent experience at the Ramira City Hotel was utterly disappointing, primarily due to the absolutely inappropriate and unacceptable behavior of one of their waiters, Yusuf. From the moment we sat down, Yusuf's attitude was rude and dismissive. He made us feel unwelcome and seemed annoyed by our presence.

When we asked simple questions about the menu, he responded with impatience and sarcasm, as if we were inconveniencing him. His unprofessional demeanor only got worse as the meal progressed. At one point, he outright ignored our requests for basic items like water and napkins.

The final straw was when he made an inappropriate comment that left us all feeling uncomfortable. Such behavior is inexcusable and completely ruined our dining experience.

I expected much better from a hotel of this caliber. Until they address their staff training and customer service standards, I cannot recommend the Ramira City Hotel to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

Shocked by this hotel staff - particularly in the restaurant and bar - mainly Yusuf and Ali in the restaurant, and I could not read the name of the bar man as his badge was old and the name was not visible. Feels like staff is not trained, and some people have severe anxiety issues, treat guests in a rude way and absolutely disrespectfully. What also made us speechless is when we felt ourselves really weird when the bar man and a lady from Germany went to the ladies room together … will not describe the details. We understand that this is a 18+ hotel but I am not sure staff should offer other services to the guests outside their job description. Just speechless about this situation. This is always accompanied by dummy jokes towards all women at the bar like “do you really need your wine today, why do you need it, etc” .. Restaurant and bar staff speak poor English, refuse to help in easy asks - we had multiple situations with Yusuf when we asked to open the window as it was very stuffy inside (he didn’t just decline but answered very rude to us and our parents), refused to bring a tooth pick, or explain why he is rushing to take our non finished plates without asking, or doing smth with our table just rudely violating your privacy and not explaining the actions, or he could just turn his back and walk away dancing when we were in front of him kindly asking something. To be honest it didn’t feel safe around him - I don’t want to judge but this felt like mental illness. He has no idea how to approach the guests who are staying in this hotel not for free btw and I assume our money also goes for his salary ... ; one of the waiters - Ali - refused to speak English to me explaining that I don’t speak Turkish so he is not obliged to talk English to the guests … although he works with guests from different countries in the industry of hospitality and prefers just to be rude like this. This level of communication and disrespect makes a huge impact on hotel reputation. Thus I would never come back to this place and do not recommend it to anyone as you will be stressed by this experience. I understand that some guests may be also disrespectful sometimes but it doesn’t mean that other guests need to pay off for others while treating everybody respectfully. And staff should be professional in any situation actually. Hospitality industry minimum requirements are respect, professional communication, guest’s support, good level of English. Haven’t seen it in this hotel.
