Mesut Hotel

We recently stayed at Mesut Hotel as two 20-year-old women and overall had a mixed experience. The food was generally good, though it would have been much easier if it had proper labels, especially for pickier eaters or those with dietary restrictions. Drinks were served in very small glasses, which was a bit frustrating at times. One standout was the housekeeping team – they were absolutely amazing and kept everything spotless. We also want to mention a particular young man who worked mainly at the pool bar – he was incredibly helpful and kind, a real credit to the hotel. However, we did have a few uncomfortable experiences with some staff who behaved slightly inappropriately towards us, which left us feeling uneasy at times. The hotel is in a lovely area with fantastic bars, coffee shops, and shops nearby, and the beach is right across the road – which is a major plus. The pool area was great too, with snacks conveniently located just across from it. Evening entertainment was enjoyable when it was on – not every night, but we didn’t expect it to be. Overall, while there were highlights, we wouldn’t personally return. That said, it’s likely a great choice for families or older guests looking for a quieter, more relaxed stay.

The hotel is not bad and the location is OK too, even though a bit more to the east from central Alanya, best thing is that it's meters from a nice beach, however, the service quality (except for housekeeping was plain unprofessional. I had a very normal situation of leaving my card key in the room, and when I asked the receptionist to have someone open my room for me so that I can take it (and after all - use my room), first told me that he's busy and can't help me, then, when I insisted, asked my why did I forget my card in the room (well, because I did, that's why), and when the conversation got a little more heated (because I was obviously denied my most basic right as a guest), I was told to "get out". Of course, at that point I raised my voice and asked for the manager, just to discover in seconds that not only the manager, but actually the owner was somewhere in the lobby, he asked me what's the problem, I explained, he apologized for his receptionist ("they get crazy sometimes") and the problem was solved in seconds, and the receptionist - fired at the end of the same day (or at least I was told so 2 days later, when I checked out one day early because I simply didn't feel good there any more). The other significant problem was the quality of the breakfast, and more than anything - the service. The variety of food was good, not so much - the quality, a few times I saw food, especially vegetables, that were obviously on the table not for the first time (the classic "recycling" they do in cheaper hotels), but worse than that was the cleanliness of the tables - covers hadn't seen washing for weeks at least, there were crumbles on made up tables, even though there was more than enough staff moving around the restaurant all the time - but doing there work quite carelessly. Actually this is all a pity, because if they didn't have the service problems, this would be a very nice hotel, especially for the quite nice prices they are offering. But with what I experienced there it's highly unlikely I will stay there again.

I went their original for 7 days and then my dad decided to go to Antalya for 2 days but the 5 days I stayed their it’s was ok the food was great except for the breakfast the view was Beautiful the rooms were ok I’m not that picky but the rooms can be bigger the tap water was disgusting the bathroom smelled bad. The service wasn’t really good my mom told the cleaning lady that the shower wasn’t working the lady said that she’ll fix it she never did I would go their again but it wouldn’t be my first option.

The administrator refused to check me in because there was no reservation in the database. He was not interested in any of my proofs of reservation. After several hours of sorting things out with support, the administrator gave me the keys. This is a 4-star hotel, they treat guests so strangely
