As we had children with us we have asked to do the check-out at 16.00 instead of 12.00. The price for this late checkout (20.00 although we didn’t wanted until then) is fixed by “Sales team” to 215 euro and there is no variance according to the check-out time.
So the room was available but they didn’t wanted to let us have it for four more hours for less then 215 euro… It’s true we haven’t been to Turkey since a while but I remember hotels used to be more flexible about this. Not sure if this is just in Gloria or in all Turkish hotels but it left us with a bitter taste at the end of the vacation.
The food is excellent, with a wide variety, freshly prepared, and very tasty. The à la carte restaurants are definite highlights.
The security is excellent - they make sure only authorized guests can enter the premises. Wi-Fi works perfectly across the entire property, and the whole area is beautiful.
A special mention goes to the adorable cat house. The cats are well taken care of and bring a lovely charm to the place.
As a birthday surprise, we received a small cake and champagne, great gesture!
Only minor issue was the disinfectant: it had a strong smell, we didn't like it. It was not the typical clean smell, which I know.
And sometimes children were running around during dinner. It would be good to remind guests that this should be avoided.
