Hampton By Hilton Bursa

My mum and I stayed at this property on our way to Istanbul to rest for a night. It has a convenient location and an underground parking facility. Breakfast is much better than at standard Hampton hotels.

We received a call to our room at 22:30 about a couple of soft drinks (Coke and soda). The receptionist said that we needed to sign an invoice to charge the drinks to our room. I was quite puzzled and explained that we did not consume such drinks. It turned out that someone had drinks in the lobby area and gave our room number. Nevertheless, you shouldn’t disturb guests at 22:30 over a couple of drinks.

Upon check-out, I was asked to pay 120 TL for a can of Red Bull. I explained that I asked for my Diamond drink and snack as part of the Hilton Honors benefit, and the gentleman asked me to choose a drink from the fridge, so I picked a Red Bull. He never mentioned that it wasn’t included and asked for a payment. The next day, the receptionist demanded the payment for it. I explained myself and pointed out that it was my choice of drink, but the answer was no. She said that I was supposed to receive a bag containing a couple of bottles of water and a snack. There is clearly a lack of training among staff members.

Overall, it’s a clean and conveniently located hotel if you are driving. However, customer service skills should have been much better.

I had a terrible experience they did not even look at us as guests, the receptionist shaban didn't even allow us to have a porter and was very rude to my family even cursing my father he should be fired for such behavior and im very disappointed in the hilton hotel group for hiring such staff and i didn't know hilton was racist against African guests
