We had a lovely time when visiting this hotel. We stayed for ten days. The food is typical all inclusive - there was always something to eat but it could get a little repetitive in the main restaurant. The al a carte restaurants are lovely, we particularly enjoyed eating in the Asian one. The staff worked hard. Shout out to Kadir, who was friendly and welcoming when he served us in the restaurant and in the bar during our stay. We visited the beach and the pool. There were always plenty of sun beds down at the beach. The pool was busier but we always managed to find beds and an umbrella. People do reserve sun beds and must get up early but it isn’t necessary. The staff are always happy to help and will find beds and umbrellas for guests if they are asked to, as they have stated in some of their replies in previous reviews. The same can be said for during the evening entertainment, if there were no tables or chairs then staff would find some for guests who needed them. We didn’t watch much of the entertainment which took place outside. The bar inside has plenty of tables and chairs. The hotel itself is clean and tidy. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here.

My six year old has thoroughly enjoyed her holiday thanks to a great kids club. Open morning and afternoon with different activities each day plus a mini disco in the evening. Special thanks to Bilge - the staff are very caring and watch them as they take part in arranged activities or just go wild on the large park, trampolines and splash park. Lots to do for her and time for me to read a big book Kite flying morning and face painting were the faves x Some activities an extra cost but don’t have to take part.

Such a lovely hotel . Very welcoming. Staff very friendly . Food and drink amazing . Caters for everyone . Swimming pool very cold but slides really good . Hotel very clean. Selection of drinks that are included is really good . Even do mock tails for the kids

what can i say we have just had 10 fantastic days here.The Hotel is spotless the staff can't do enough for you the Animation team are so good I have got to say a big thanx to Mustafia and Nehia they are just the best always getting my son involved in whats going on Darts bingo dancing they are a credit to this hotel.All the staff work so hard and nothing is to much trouble. The food is really good and I am a fussy eater eggs toasties pancakes pizza pasta jacket potato salad fruit veg lamb chicken there really is something for everyone.the one thing was the pool was like ice but that's because of the time of year we came We will 100% be back here thanx so much for a great time and we will see you soon

The hotel was fantastic, we had a mix of weather but the facilities meant we could navigate that with the indoor pool, gym and arcade. The food is also some of the best I’ve had an all inclusive just the buffet restaurant I’m talking about and the al la carte even better, but what made it for us was the fantastic animation team, friendly and fun, always entertaining us around the pool and at night, the mini club had plenty to entertain the kids on the bad weather days including mask making, cookie making and pizza making to name a few, great dance routines and movie nights for the kids, Bilge, Mustafa and Max were the best animation team ever and we would defo visit this hotel again,

Side Star Resort ticks every box. It is a stunning place with amazing staff who can’t do enough for you. It’s spotlessly clean and they all work very hard to keep it that way. The food choices and quality are unreal an absolutely vast array of different choices, The same applies to drinks and the waiters ensure your glasses are soon refilled. We had a family room with a sea view and it was perfect, cleaned daily, towels changed daily and the free minibar restocked every day. The facilities are very good with loads to do or just chill. The numerous bars and restaurants excellent. The nightclub plays banging tunes, the entertainment is good and the amusement arcade has loads of machines etc. The pool area is well set out main pool being cold but bearable and slide pool fine as it’s heated. There are loads of beds and more available if needed. The indoor pool is heated too.The beach is vast and beach bar does lovely food. Names to thank that I can remember are Mustafer (Entertainment Chief) couldn’t do enough for us, Ali (animator), Max (animator) who really worked hard to get people involved and were great fun to be around. Finally waiter/ barman Kadir who we christened Nick Berry as he’s his double, (his friendliness and eagerness to ensure you were happy was overwhelming) thanks to all of them and the numerous other hard working members of a great team. We only have one slight whinge, more dancing around the pool please Finally the walk to the beach is lovely but there is also a golf buggy if your legs are struggling. We absolutely recommend Side Star Resort and can’t wait to return.

I am sorry to write this but if you have booked this hotel my advice is to change!! The rooms are satisfactory, The bistro bar is disgustingly, dirty, dingy, cold food and limited drinks. You are limited where you can drink, reception bar and that is it. If you want to pay for fresh orange juice then go ahead. Beach is dirty. Approach of hotel is dirty. Location is isolated. Branded drinks are not available ! According to a jet 2 Rep “ all inclusive plus does not mean anything “ This is not 4 + star , 3 stars max. The best thing is the jet 2 rep “ Luna”

This hotel I amazing! I honestly cannot fault anything, the pool area is lovely although the main pool was too cold to go in the pool with the slides was heated and we spent all day there our daughter had the the time of her life on them slides, pool bar is lovely with lovely friendly staff and the food at pool snack bar was outstanding! Lovely walk down to beach , bar at beach wasn't open when we were there but still a lovey walk along the sand, main reception/bar area is beautiful and bar staff are great straight over getting you drinks, food in main buffet was lovely as was all the restaurants especially the Asian it was unreal! Our room was 3 single beds together plenty of room , mini bar free everyday, maid was lovely also I genuinely cannot fault this hotel and we will be back 100%

3rd wintertime visit to side star resort and as ever everything was spot on. It was a little quieter this year but that wasn’t a bad thing, staff generally lovely as usual, food and drinks fab, I would say that some waiters do need to pay more attention to the drinks orders as more often than not the order came back incorrectly either not Diet Coke in drinks, this was an issue due to diabetic persons in our company or the wrong order was brought … so please try harder to get drinks correct guys, maybe try reduce the amount of orders taken at any one time. Al a carte restaurant’s brilliant as ever. Weather was a little disappointing this year lots of rain around the 10 days we spent in early December, Looking forward to our next visit later in the year

Visiting for the second time , we had a very good holiday but do feel the offering wasn’t as good as the same time last year, most notably the lack of food options in the pool bar especially the kfc style chicken not available which we found very disappointing. The food which was available in the main restaurant was good although again not as much choice as previous visit, we stayed in a jacuzzi family room and to be completely honest we found the standard family room last year much better when travelling with children, the jacuzzi didn’t work and leaked on arrival which was sorted by the hotel quickly. The hotel is immaculate and cleaned rigorously daily. The entertainment team were fantastic as were all of the other hotel staff , we found service this year was much better than last year. The drinks choices are very good and bar is 24h. The hotels location is quite remote but we love it and side /Manavgat is only a short dolmus trip away. Local shops and bars are a short walk. Overall a good holiday but slightly disappointed in the pool bar food choices. On a side note there are lots of German football teams staying in the hotel and they are very respectful and not an issue at all however a team of Russian children arrived with minimal supervision and ran riot , fighting and causing a nuisance , this really wasn’t the hotels fault but they should have maybe told the children’s guardians that this wasn’t acceptable as it really did spoil the hotel for a lot of guests and we heard many people upset with them. Will we return ? Quite probably and good value for money.
