Izmir Marriott Hotel

This hotel is right alongside the sea wall. Our room overlooked the water and because we were several floors up, looking out the large windows gave you the feeling of being on a ship. The room was great and the service was excellent. We ate in the restaurant where they served unique and beautifully decorated cocktails. The menu had a wide variety of Turkish foods which were artfully arranged and extremely tasty. At the bottom of the menu was a key to show items in the dishes that could be allergens. I found that everywhere we went in Türkiye, food places were very careful about addressing allergies. Much better than in the US. We walked along the walkway beside the sea. Very safe. Hope to go back again!

What a lovely hotel. Except for the dog located across my room that started barking at 6:30am incessantly, and even well after calling reception, I have zero negative feedback.

Otherwise, I was fortunate to stay on a top floor with a small side water view during the National Turkiye celebration! Couldn't see any of the celebration for my room but was able to secure a spot just outside the hotel to view the festivities.

The beds are incredibly soft and clean. Very large TV and a sitting area. Bathrooms are luxurious with marble. Individual pumps for shampoo, conditioner, and body soaps. Shower was strong and temperature consistent and water was warm. The only thing missing might have been a warming towel rack but truly there isn't a good place to put it as everything is well placed out and organized.

Mini fridge had multiple options for liquids and snacks. Options to tame your salt or sugar cravings are available for purchase. Pricing is a little high for the area for each but not uncommon in a five-star hotel.

You can control the individual temperature within your room.

Very nice monogram Marriott slippers and a robe for use. Towels were a little on the smaller size for five star hotel and not as fluffy as one would expect. Typical bathroom amenities and anything forgotten can be requested.

Breakfast options were plentiful and could request customized items. Coffee with some of the better tasting that I've had. Can request coffee to go as well. The eggs benedict is a must.

If returning to the area would definitely stay at this hotel.

Had an amazing experience at Izmir Marriott during my first time visiting the city. The hotel, in my opinion, is in a perfect location as it gives you the chance to enjoy the amazing seaside view and the numerous cafes and restaurants nearby. Being located in the city center, it is also connected to one of the main roads of Izmir, making the main attractions of the city easily accessible. The rooms are nice, modern and graceful. The personnel is also very courteous and attentive. A special mention to the whole team of the hotel, especially Naz and Burak, who checked me in and out respectively, and the Guest Relations personnel for giving me a nice upgraded room and making sure I was well taken care of. I definitely recommend the hotel both to first-timers as well as people already familiar with Izmir and am looking forward to return someday.

Nice and clean. The staff is very humble and friendly, especially Gozde Hanim and Aykut Bey. We are happy. Only the pools were closed, so we did not stay long

A new, warm and smiling staff, a quality and decent hotel, right in the heart of Izmir, of course on the beach, a very nice business, I recommend it, five stars, ten stars.

True 5 star hotel with well thought out luxury extras. I stayed here for business for the last 30 days and my work has moved me to another 5 star hotel. I instantly missed the Marriott and here is what the Marriott does better than the 5 star resort down the road:

Better Sound insulation from outside noise
Door which close quietly! The place my work moved me has doors which slam and I didn't know I'd care about this until I left the Marriott
Very well decorated rooms.
Thermostat which can be switched from C to F
Refrigerator in room which actually properly seals and cools.
Beautiful sea views from rooms and rooftop.
A shower which lets you turn it on from a spot where you can let it warm up before getting in and getting wet.

I would also like to take the time to acknowledge the incredible service the Executive Lounge staff provided!

The Izmir Marriott sets the bar for what 5-star service should be.

Our stay at the Marriot was a great one. I was here for a week vacation last summer. Starting from the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a lot of variety of foods and delicious ones. All thanks to the work of chefs at the hotel's restaurant.
The rooms live up to the level of a 5-star hotel.

The restaurant manager and his team are superb.

The hotel location is excellent, facing Aegean Sea. The breakfast restaurant Lima offer beautiful sea view and sea breeze. Walking distance to the bazaar, Konak Pier and Clock Tower Square.
The rooftop pool though small but has splendid panorama seaview and mountain view.

Well…now the room. The room layout/size is spacious and good for 2 persons with 2 big luggage, and furnitures are modern. However, we found it difficulty to pair our mobile phone with the TV. The satellite tv channels are most in foreign languages, very few English channels to choose from.
For a 5 stars hotel, I am a bit surprised the hotel towels small, thin and yellowish.

Overall, I love the hotel staff service very much. I will visit the hotel again when I am in Izmir :)
