Melas Hotel

The hotel’s proximity to the airport, just a 20-minute drive away, made it incredibly convenient. As soon as we stepped inside, we felt welcomed. The reception staff offered us a drink and brought our check-in documents directly to our seats—no need for us to stand in line at the front desk. Our room was clean, and a little surprise awaited us the next day: small flowers thoughtfully placed on our beds by the cleaning staff. Additionally, the room featured a safe for our valuables.
The hotel has a nice garden that leads directly to the beach. Occasionally, you’ll encounter friendly kitties in the garden. My child had brought cat treats from our home country, and the cats seemed to relish this new treat. These feline residents have their own little house and receive care from the hotel.
For beach enthusiasts, there are always available seats, and volleyball games kick off around 11:00 for those seeking extra fun. The sea is crystal clear, and the beach bar ensures you’re never without refreshments and snacks. Likewise, the pool bar offers an array of treats and snacks.
Wherever we went, we saw cleaning staff everywhere, diligently working despite the heat. They were always serving and assisting guests. The restaurant’s diverse menu catered to every taste, with various themes in every meal. The consistently tender and delicious meat dishes stood out. With many options available, there was something for everyone.
The kids’ animation team kept my child entertained, and the evening program was enjoyable. While the Turkish show was decent, I expected some improvement. On the other hand, the Mongolian show exceeded expectations. On Sundays, the entertainment team usually has a day off, which is understandable. However, we were a bit bored with no activities on Sunday. We had nice photos taken by the photographer, although he was a bit pushy about selling us all the photos he took.
In summary, I highly recommend this hotel!

Had a great time staying here with my family May 6-13. The hotel room was huge with a fabulous balcony terrace which my little one loved running around in with all that space on offer.

Lots of choices with the food and got better by each passing day.

The facilities were great and it was a lovely walk to the beach.

Only negative experience was I must have had a minimum of 12 sittings for both lunch/dinner with my wife and not once were we offered or asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks or any coffee, when other guests were asked. I had to go get drinks for the table on my own.

I was also refused food by one of the chefs for some reason, when I paid for an all inclusive options. The evening waiting staff could be more attentive if your not of european origin.

However, it is a lovely hotel and I enjoyed my overall stay.

So pleased with this place. Came for my alone holiday to relax and unwind and don’t remember when I felt so relaxed. Hotel is incredibly clean and constantly looked after by friendly staff. The variety of different foods it’s outstanding. Don’t need the be up at 8am anymore as the restaurant serves late breakfast for those who like to sleep a little longer 🥱. So impressed and definitely highly recommended for anyone who want to detach from the outside world. ❤️

We've recently enjoyed the most wonderful 7 days at Melas Lara Hotel and I cannot recommend it enough. The hotel & gardens were stunning - very clean and well-maintained. The food was excellent - plenty of choice, presented beautifully and delicious! Finally, the staff were so welcoming, friendly and attentive. I have nothing but praise for this hotel - thank you so much for making our stay so special.

Pros - excellent food/drinks
- very good service, they were all nice and ready to help but these stood out for us: Nefise, Necibe, Adem ,Zafer ,Mustafa, Duran
-the hotel was very clean
Cons - the entertainment
There are some Nightshows , volleyball, Tir, Bochia, Yoga other than that very quiet, no music on the beach and no activities at the pool.

To sum it up
Very good choice if you don‘t need a lot of entertainment.

Great location close to bus stop and shopping malls. Private sandy beach with plenty of sunbeds. Excellent stuff. The rooms have everything you need, a free minibar, alcohol in the lobby around the clock. The choice of dishes is huge for every taste, special thanks to the chefs for delicious food! The waiters are very attentive and run after orders. The area is clean and well maintained.

Great hotel! I liked everything: delicious, varied food, daily cleaning of the room, polite staff.
