Staff very good Hotel nice Not happy to told by reception we have to pay £8 per air conditioning unit per day And pay for tiolet rolls Not stated in add Won't be staying there anymore It was like being held to ransome

Just returned from a week's stay at Club Karakas with our 2 kids we had a pleasant stay and the staff were always on hand and pleasant,

A few simple adjustments would make a big difference for future return to this hotel, general maintenance check of the rooms before guests arrive as our room had 5 light bulbs not working, the rainfall shower head plastic casing was split and the air conditioning unit water pipe just dripped onto the balcony floor which could be a slipping hazard there is a drain near it so the pipe could be adjusted to let the water flow into it, these are not complaints just observations that can be easily put right.

Around the pool is a pleasant experience during the day although with music and some entertainment from the bar staff but it could be organised a bit better and maybe altered every other day as everyday it's the same exact songs with the same exact dancing routine which does get boring after a couple of days.

The food in the hotel is of a good standard and a pretty good selection.

Evening entertainment at the hotel,

The evening entertainment at the hotel was ok but again the same songs and same dancing from the same bar staff that we just watched during the day, personally I think the evening entertainment should involve the guests a lot more as I felt we were there to watch the bar staff have their wee party and enjoy themselves more than the guests actually were, the only night I seen any guests enjoy themselves and let their hair down and have a laugh was the night they done a bit of karaoke, even at that it was only on for about 30mins or so then they turned it off to play a game of bingo, I believe if they had left the karaoke on more drinks would have been sold more people would have sat longer more guests would have participated and a lot more fun would have been had but once they turned it off a lot of guests got up and went elsewhere, again this is not a complaint just an observation of things that could be slightly changed to make it more interactive for guests as most guests seem to be british and everyone knows the British love nothing more than a good sing song and a bit of drink for a night's craic, guests are there to relax chill out and let their hair down and get involved doing things they wouldn't normally do at home.

Finally TOILET PAPER!! 1 Free roll???
I have never ever in any country in the world stayed in a hotel where you have to buy your toilet roll, HONESTLY, consider dropping this ridiculous charge for toilet paper most rooms will go through an average of 3 rolls per week its not a big expense to the hotel against the prices guests are paying to stay per week even hostels don't charge for toilet paper!! For the sake of a few lira is it worth potentially losing return visitors over? I'm sure people in the past have not returned for another future stay due to having to pay for toilet paper after spending a few thousand pounds for a holiday and feeding the bar tills a small fortune during their stay, again not a complaint just an observation.

Overall a good stay pleasant enough environment but a few simple adjustments could make it better.
