One hour after check-in we received a call from valet stating they would not park our SUV as it has hand controls. I discussed with the valet manager, who was very nice, That I am wheelchair-bound and require hand controls to drive the car however, my wife can operate the vehicle normally using her feet.
The valet Manager’s recommendation was that I would drive the car with the valet manager and park the car in the valet garage.
I advised the valet manager I felt like I was getting discriminated against.
Ultimately, he allowed me to park my car outside off the street and not in the garage Due to the fact that I was only staying two nights.
The valet manager was very nice and respectful, however the policy of this company is very poor and discriminatory.
I do not recommend this property for people with disabilities.
We went for Easter brunch at the rooftop,amazing food,gym also have a beautiful view and they offer spa service as well.
We took Hamburger and Caesar salad for to go from State and Lake restaurant and they where both delicious.
Definitely recommend 🥂
