Pendry Chicago is home to 363 newly redesigned guestrooms and suites - each carefully appointed with an eye for the Carbide and Carbon Buildings illustrious Art Deco heritage combined with a modern vision of luxury hospitality. Most rooms have a city view - some feature bay windows and a chaise lounge. All rooms are appointed with a sitting area and a large LED high-definition Smart HDTV. Marble bathrooms include a walk-in shower except accessible rooms - and all have premium bath amenities from MiN New York. Bedding includes either one king-size or two double beds with a plush duvet and luxury linens. Added amenities include a desk - 2-line phones - high-speed cabled and wireless Internet access - dual 110v-220v voltage and complimentary bottled water.

the rooms are tired, finishes are cheap and worn out. Carpet stained.
Windows have no insulation and you can hear the street noise constantly. Any rooms that are below floor 10 it’s like you are outside it’s so loud.
Lobby bar rooftop bar and amenities are all very nice. The room service is not fast, good food for the price and does not arrive hot.
I understand now why the price was good at approx $250 per night - because there are major compromises.
The road noise was so loud. Woke up several times during the night. Would not stay again due to noise. The staff was friendly but too few people at front desk. Spent 10 minutes waiting to checkout.
