Hotel Per La

This hotel is GORGEOUS! An old bank turned into a swanky modern hotel, the decor is amazing. The staff was wonderful! Only issue I had was we were put into a handicap accessible bathroom room and the shower water flooded the whole bathroom floor because I guess it was designed more for some who will sit in the shower seat and the water not travel far. But thankfully they moved us, and upgraded us to an actual suite which made the ordeal worth it. The view from the roof top pool/bar is amazing. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown so you’re close to a lot within walking distance.

This is a fantastic property! Truly boutique and a gem in the city. Every corner of public space is designed and decorated to intrigue. Upon entering you are transported to an oasis. Excellent customer service, room size, facilities etc. Worth every penny! I wish we had something like this in our home city. So sheik! Highly recommended. Walking distance from some cool bars and restaurants. The proximity to skid row is far enough that its safe and removed from any potential issues of which we had none. I could spend all day on that roof top pool. Can’t wait to visit again!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The staff gave us a complimentary upgrade and an early check-in. The entire hotel has a very classic feel to it with exquisite details. The rooms are similarly very tastefully done up with lots of small details, including old photos and plans of the city. The housekeeping staff was great and very attentive. 10/10 would heartily recommend and stay here again. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Very stylish hotel, the design is definitely a masterpiece. Every detail is amazing with a lot of surprises and very thoughtful ideas. The rooftop is very cute and chic, throw back to the days in Europe.
I would say this hotel has fulfilled every imagination about Los Angeles-Chic, relax and provides visitors a movie-like experience. Highly recommend it to everyone who visits the hotel.

I stayed at Per La the opening week and was blown away by the high level of service and amenities on property. The staff was eager to assist with any needs. We dined frequently at the rooftop restaurant, Bar Clara, and enjoyed the Mediterranean style menu. Rooms were clean and well appointed. I will be back.

Stayed at hotel per la for 5 days and it was incredible! The decor from the moment you walk in is amazing. The cafe and rooftop were also really nice. The bathroom was beautiful. I also appreciated their security in the front that helped with everything. definitely a 10/10 stay in downtown LA!

Such a beautiful spot. Interior was intricately designed with very fine detailing. The room has a beautiful tub that is very deep/long even for a tall male. The bartenders and staff have all been super friendly and chatty. I wish the bar was open a bit later so we could hangout more! Love the rooftop, and love the lamps, bed, marble detailing. Would stay here again.

Jasmine was so kind and such a delight to work with. We had multiple food deliveries at night, and she was very understanding when we changed our plans on how to receive those. She even greeted us the next day as we were leaving. Everyone we talked to was very polite as well. The bathtub in the room was so great, and even the water pressure in the shower was nice! The potatoes at the rooftop restaurants/bar were a bit too salty for us, but that was the ONLY "negative" that I can say about the whole visit. The acai bowl was AMAZING, and the people in the coffee shop were fantastic as well! I can't say enough good things about Hotel Per La.

My wife and I recently stayed here for a night. The hotel, without a doubt, is a 5-star hotel. Was greeted and helped with our luggage when we arrived. They allowed us to check in early.
HOWEVER, we went to eat on the rooftop for breakfast and dinner and ended up walking out both times as we never saw our waiter. The hostess saw us walk out and didn't even try to resolve or convince us to stay other than "sorry."
Minor issue. Other than that, our stay was great. We would come back again.

A wonderful stay. Beautiful, clean rooms with very comfortable bed and double layer shades for late sleepers. Friendly and helpful staff. Bordering Olive St, it has a very nice room with thoughtfully selected plants, a fountain and large, comfy couch perfect before heading out. The rooftop bar and restaurant was so good we went for dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend this place. Beautiful, cool pool area on the rooftop as well including cabanas. A gym and other perks included we didn't take advantage of. Wish we would've stayed another day. Lovely spot to slip away for a day or two.
