Lovely well appointed, luxury, historic hotel. Lovely pool and oceanfront pool deck and restaurant. Everyone very professional and courteous.

This was my second time staying at this hotel and the staff are like family. From check in to check out everything is handled stress-free at the front desk. The location is perfect and in walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Its my home away from home! Will definitely be staying here again and again!

Quaint, Old Fashioned, Historic. A bit MiMo looking, especially pool area, but in a good way. More"basic" or old fashioned than newer, hip hotels, but that's what makes it stands out.

Not sure about ins and outs of the hotel but the waitress and cooks in the outdoor restaurant were fantastic. She was very nice, made sure we were comfortable and accommodated lunch and breakfast for a group of 7. Thanks so much! Pool and cabanas outside are great as well. A+++ to the waitress and cook!

On its last legs, I suspect. Was probably once lovely, the plumbing all works, because it probably always did, but it's stuck in the fifties. Am sure it was once THE place to stay, but now - it's not. Nice 'mature' staff - lifts a bit near the entrance, meaning it might not be suitable to become an old-age home, but otherwise... And my balcony had no sun, due to a high-rise building adjacent. ...

If one were to heed the bad reviews one reads online, you'd probably never book this hotel. I am glad we didn't and I trusted my gut. I didn't regret it. Our flight was delayed so we landed pretty late and didn't get to the hotel till way past 12am. Tony was the staff on duty and he was super helpful. The price was ok. WIFI was horrible, we didn’t get any service. However, their front clerk Diamond is amazing, respectful, patient and very pleasant. She was very polite and even gave us some ideas of what was good around the area.

I had a beautiful view. You could see that the hotel is a bit old, yet my room was comfortable and quite large. The breakfast was not sufficient and poor. No parking possibility in the hotel. Parking across the street from the hotel for a fee.

We flew in early and were unable to check in the first lady we spoke to wasn't very friendly or helpful. But when we came back Cindy checked us in and was very helpful and friendly. Hotel is located right on the sand with easy access to the beach. Nice pool area with hot tub and pool side bar with frozen drinks. That hotel gave me tranquility I felt safe, location Was great. The beach is less than 5 min walk. The hotel provided bicycles,also everything You need for a day at the beach. The staff: they are really nice people.

This place was FABULOUS. Our king studio was beautiful, and even included a full size fridge. The service was beyond friendly and responsive. They sent an email after check-in to see how it went. When I mentioned a light was out in our bathroom and the bathtub faucet dripped, they were there next day to repair! I can't say enough about the amenities. The people at reception are very friendly. The cleaning staff never gets it right. One day the coffee machine not cleaned. One day no bath mat and no wash cloths. Always something missing. Have stayed here many times. Always the same story.

Had an outstanding stay on a Friday night. Designated parking spots for those with babies and strollers close to the lobby entrance were convenient, which we gratefully used. Overall this was a great find. It's across the street from the beach that includes chairs and towels. Rooms were all nice, staff was all very friendly. Valet parking was optional, (they have a parking garage) which was so nice because it's near impossible to find anything that's not at least 20 or 30 bucks a day for parking in this area. Clean and well-managed hotel. Has an onsite restaurant (seafood with a few other choices) that is open reasonably late so a weary, hungry traveler who arrives late can get some food on site itself. A bit pricey for what they offer, but compared to what other hotels in this area are charging it's not as pricey as it looks.

The most amazing Hotel I'm staying in many many years. They have the restaurant stuck them downstairs best food you can eat on the beach. Well one of the best. As far as dining outside. For fish steaks and incredible liquor bar management is great staff is amazing very uppity people I definitely recommend this place hotel and the restaurant downstairs amazing place to stay.

Given this place 4 only because it is very well used and dated inside. The staff all seem great and the location is great being right on the water. All in all if your not for a 4 or 5 star hotel but a clean place to sleep with a view this is your place.

The inn that I had the option to book for my movement is extraordinary. The rooms were perfect, entirely agreeable, and the staff was astounding. They went over and past to help make my visit charming. I energetically suggest this inn for anybody searching for the best spot to remain while an extended get-away.

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western on the Bay Inn!! The staff is what made it so great. It was a long time dream of my husband's to take 2 of our grandsons on a deep sea fishing trip. Awesome stay!!! View was EVERYTHING!! Room was clean daily to include linen change and bed made on time)! Loved the convenience of having an onsite bar/grill. As little pricey...should be a little discounted for those staying at hotel but besides that no complaints!! Lastly, location was close to shopping, dining and of course the BEACH!!!!

I loved my stay at the hotel. We stayed in one of the penthouse rooms with ocean view?It's to die for. Room was clean and modern enough us. The hallways smelled awesome (I know it's weird.. I noticed this but some places smell musky). Everything worked as it should (ice machine and all)and the razors provided saved me a trip to the store! All and all the husband and I had an awesome time.

Beautiful property! The room was very nice, with an ocean view that was spectacular. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is a little difficult to locate, if using GPS, and there are many one way streets. Parking is off site and was about a 10 minute walk. Overall, we would be happy to stay there again!

It's a bit aged but perfectly clean and elegant. We booked a king bed room and ended up with a free upgrade to a penthouse. Not to oversell it, the penthouse is essentially a one bedroom suite with a balcony. Perfectly nice, but manage your expectations. I felt like we got a good value and good service for a room that, while not luxurious, was clean, comfortable, and well above the bare essentials...

Although the pool was great in size water was always freezing, even colder than the ocean. The cleanliness of the pool was also a concern with leaves and de-bre. Never once did we see a staff member attending to the pool on our 4 day stay. Jr. Suite resembles a normal hotel room size in most other hotels. Beds are great, you can sleep like a baby. No microwaves or coffee machines in the rooms...not...

Older place. Looks like rooms were renovated in 1980s and not since, though I see in other reviews that they are renovating some.rooms. Right on the beach though. Very small kitchenettes. Decent wireless. Can watch Netflix. Hard to find at night as there are no lighted signs outside. Squeaky floors so we were up when people above us were up at 7 to 8am. Room 216 one bedroom. This place was wonderful. Drove from Southern Il., stayed here 3-5-18 through 3-9-18, with my daughter. Took less than 2 minutes to check in. Felt very safe. Collins Avenue and the beach surround it. Everything you need is within walking distance. The staff do a great job and are very friendly. I would recommend anyone to stay here. Cannot wait to go back.

I'll stay here again when I travel next year but the property has many, many mechanical problems. The elevator was out of service three days out of our six that we stayed. The internet was very spotty. The mixer valve in the bath was weird and unmarked. The extremely cheap LED lights flickered badly throughout the room. The staff was helpful and kind. We were on a working trip and appreciated having the small kitchen area. The only issue was their key cards. They work for 1-3 entries and reliably failed after that and had to be re-encoded several times. Time for a new system that holds the imprint! Otherwise clean and comfortable.

Perfect, staff are so friendly valet parking is one of the cheapest in south beach and hotel room is extremely large enough and clean. The price I paid is so less for what I got. This hotel was convinent right across from beach. I was not really feeling this end of ocean drive due to the fact that prices were extremely steep and area is very ghetto. everyone is smoking marijuana everywhere! hotel provided breakfast between 9-11. Stayed there for three nights. Oceanfront rooms are great with a very good view. Rooms are very small, but in line with the art deco architecture of the building I believe. I must say, my wife surprised me with a trip to Miami with a stat at the beacon and it's been a blast. The staff are friendly and the room was pretty cool. I recommend it if you ever visit south beach miami.

Hotel Bellaza is an experience. Located in the street right opposite to Miami South Beach. Suites are great and well maintained. The decor of the hotel and surroundings look great. Lucky, there were road works opposite of the hotel causing a road block, management lowered the prices of the suites. Would like to visit again soon or later.

Our room temperature stayed at 72-74 degrees, which was depressing because the hallway and lobby were so much cooler, where we found ourselves hanging out sometimes just to cool off. The middle of our king size bed sunk in, which made it a little hard to sleep. Location wise, it was a nice walk from the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Also, there is a free trolley nearby that can be very helpful...

Hotel was beautiful, lobby smelled so clean on arrival there. Front desk attendant was very helpful, and courteous. She held our bags when room wasn't rdy. Only issue was our cable kept going out every 3 minutes. We had the 2 bedroom suite it was beautiful. Would gladly stay there again.

Stayed here for two days during Thanksgiving season. It's close to the beach but still a small hike. One main issue was parking. I guess I can't complain much because it's Miami and parking is limited here. There are a couple of places close by that provide paid parking so it was okay. This was a nice little getaway for me and my fiance and our son! We really loved it although the beds were so small. Other than that we had a great time and it was at a great location. The price was reasonable also. I only paid 100.00 through Groupon.

It's cheap to book here and you have good parking space if you have a car with you. I also love how close it is to the beach, just a two block walk. The room itself is not all that, our power went off in the middle of the night but it wasn't a big deal. You get what you pay for but if you want to be really close to the beach and save money by doing so, this is a great place to start.

I guess the issue that it is right on collins ave. if you are facing the park on the back it is pretty quiet until garbage collection in the morning. the only walking distance you can go is the beach. no food or drinks around. however place is very decent and has very comfortable beds, very clean, free parking. it is a deal for me.

Hotel is in the heart of city, and you park around the hotel on the road. It's okay-okay one. It have a nice pool though. Room is clean, good, and big enough, but the bathroom is very small and simple (basically below expectation), but it's clean. Overall okay-ish, bur definitely not worth 120$/night (the price around Thanksgiving)

Excellent hardworking staff, great keeping up the building. Not a bad stay. Very popular in June... After staying almost a week, great experience, wonderful staff, friendly neighbors. We took an hour and half drive to Key Largo.

Stayed here for 8 days and really enjoyed myself the room was clean and comfortable, everything you needed was there. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. They have a game room, gym and hot tub too. It is in a great location easy to get everywhere. I was recommended to all.

I had a great time. The place is very clean and the employees were great. The only thing is that there are only 3 washer and dryers for the whole hotel. There are only on certain floors and were always busy being used.

Extremely clean and modernized rooms (unfortunately no balconies or views of the beach), lovely lobby and dining area, with breakfast buffet included. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The doorman, "kevin", was a real gentleman. We arrived hours early and waited in the outdoor seating, with him keeping us amused with his commentary and jokes.

Love the view and the location is amazing. The costumer service was amazing and the rooms are really clean new and beautiful. Overall love it 10 out of 10. The manager gave us an insight into the history of the hotel and was really kind to give us what we needed.

You get what yoh pay for. It's not bad and not good either. Room is small. Tile floors need to be deep cleaned. The drapery has holes in it. The AC makes this loud crash sound when it's cycling off. I have to use a physical key to own the doors. This is a new experience for me. Elevators are in dire need of a overhaul. Hotel staff was nice though.

Low rates, so keep your expectations low. The place isn't fancy and it is a couple of blocks from the beach. It is partnered with the Casablanca hotel, so you have access to the beach and amenities of Casablanca, which is nicer. It is centric, and close to many restaurants, so it is convenient. Love the concept of this hotel. We stay January 6-10, 2018. The staff was fantastic and so was the food. The downside was the floor in the rooms we're filthy, I don't think they wash them since all of our feet were black every day. The beds and pillows are horrible, far to soft with no support. Good place, convenient, very friendly staff. Close to the beach and the chairs are provided for free. Room was nice and clean. We didn't use the kitchenette but it was well stocked for any meal. There is a free Trolley line bus stops one block away. Good location close to restaurants. Publix Grocery and 24 hour Walgreens within walking distance.

Our room was not what we reserved but eventually was resolved. You have to remove all your own linens and trash, but still get charged a resort fee on top of the booking. Pool was awesome, but service and prices left a bit to be desired.

Beautiful place with fully equipped rooms and great service. It is a walking distance from the beach and tons of restaurants. They don't provide parking for guests but you can pay for it. Rooms are very pretty with tons of light and they are comfortable, kitchen has absolutely everything you'd need to cook with. Quaint hotel in heart of Miami Beach. has a Subway in the lobby that is always full so it must be good. From the manager to the employees everyone was extremely courteous and accommodating. The beach is about a block away (5 min) walk. I would definitely recommend to all. It's not the Ritz or Four Seasons but they strive to give that type of service.

Location of the hotel is pretty good, it's right next to the beach which is really nice. The staff however is alright, not the best nor the kindest, didn't pay too much attention to us when we were talking to them. Another time we had a lovely lady at the desk. Clean hotel in a good location appreciated the staff and the free bus service running just outside the hotel the TV was not working but was fixed before we left and the beds were very confortable. The place was OK! Water was a bit cold, WiFi didn’t work. But the location, price and staff were good. You can take towels for the beach, get a discount at the subway in the lobby and also refill your own cup with coffee or some soda. We had a lot of stuff laying around the room and put a do not disturb sign so nobody would come clean it and they respected that.

I stayed in that hotel in May '17 and I was very satisfied with that visit. Room was clean. All staff was friendly and very helpful. Hotels location is great and provides good base to explore Miami Beach.
