To be quite frank, this is a nice 3 star hotel at best. Staff is nice. Food was very bland at restaurants. Was being dripped on while eating lunch. No working power outlets. I get you did/are doing renovations, but don't try and pass this off as a 5 star hotel. I've stayed in nicer 4 star hotels.

Small ,nothing fancy, but it serves the purpose. The hotel is very clean which was a plus.The lady at the desk was very polite and switched us to a bigger room the next day as promised because the cold water in the shower wasn't working. The television didn't work. Plus our room was on the side of the building where there was a scooter rental place which was loud morning noon and night. Good place at good price, the parking cost is $42 a day and the food is good. What I didn't enjoy was that the hot tub was closed to public by 5.30 pm!!! I hated it, same with the pool. My sister and I loved the room, lovely balcony, pools, beach access, and the shrimp cocktail ? Yummy ?. Staff was kind and very helpful, location wasn't very close to the popular spots, but taxis were readily available. The local bus and trolley service seemed to be working regularly also. The Mondrian Hotel is beautiful however there is no clear sign in the front so it is a little bit confusing to figure out where it is from the street. The pool was beautiful and well-maintained especially when it does get busy and crowded of the staff is wonderful. They're currently doing construction so it can be noisy if you were in the spa or in the hotel rooms.

We were very pleased with our stay last weekend. The service was friendly, fast, accommodating and overall top notch. The service on the beach was also very attentive, although the food was on the low side. We weren't impressed with the quality of their food, but the cocktails more than made up for it. My husband and I just recently stayed at this hotel. Great location and and helpful staff. The free continental breakfast definitely exceeded my expectations.. probably one of the best I've had offered by a hotel. The rooms were adaquete, although noisy. Understandable though being an older hotel and thin walls. There was no counter space in the bathroom, just a few glass shelves,but at least somewhere...

The stay was just okay but the location would be ideal if you want to be close to the beach. I was here on business and this would not have been my choice to stay. The room was clean but very old and had a damp smell. The bathrooms are small and the shower pressure was good. Nice hotel, friendly staff, large and comfortable beds. At the reception there is a computer and printer, we printed out the tickets for the next flight. Convenient. Wifi is not fast 4/2 megabit, but enough to Get video. The lack of one - the total lack of soundproofing. I can hear voices in the next room.
