Hotels on first line in Miami Beach

We went to the beach and we were seated on the second row of jammed together beach chaises with a peek a boo view (about 1 foot) of the ocean. If you like loud & glitzy, their pool area is the place for you

They even surprised us with some champagne to celebrate! We chose the pool/ocean view room of course and we are not really morning people but the sights made us want to go out , explore and do more! Most of our time was spent at the beach and pools

The hotel also boasts an impressive array of amenities, such as multiple pools, a spa, fitness center, beach access, and lively nightlife venues

They need more servers around the beach, pools, and lobby bar. Service is very slow, quality not worth the quantity of food & drinks. The hotel is convenient for a rainy day but that’s all

Everyone in our group had an amazing time. The food was excellent with plenty of dining options. The check in process was seamless and allowed us to check in early. Would recommend staying here!!

We lucked out booking this hotel. Many restaurants within walking distance. The beach and pool are lovely and the rooms are immaculate. The staff is exceptionally accommodating and helpful

We loved being helped by Ricardo both at the pool and at the beach. He was so engaged and interesting to talk to and had excellent restaurant recommendations

We were happy to find ourselves in his section at the beach the following day; we loved him! We ate at Lure one night and were helped by the GM and waited on by Dennis who gave excellent suggestions and were lovely to deal with

This hotel is right on Collins where everything is happening. Lincoln Road mall is right down the street and so is Ocean Drive. Overall, I had a blast and will definitely come back

I was recently there for a conference. The hotel was spotless and oozed luxury. And without a doubt, they have the absolute best scrambled eggs and bacon in town

It attracts all age groups: families, couples, angles, girls weekends, etc. it has some of the best room prices on the beach considering it's oceanfront location and amenities

The bar offers excellent drinks!! The food was equally impressive! What really stood out, though, was the VIP access to the beach

I really liked that there were different pool options to choose from. Malibu Farm is also on site and they had a great menu right on the beach. They also served breakfast all day which I really enjoyed

Beautiful space, comfortable clean rooms with balconies overlooking the endless ocean! The beautiful view from above, to the south beach, will delight you. There is parking next to the hotel

5 why I rated medium because they can do more better than what they have now just by upgrading a few things like changing them curtains they are really dated I understand that the hotel is old but curtains have to go as well the carpet they also have to go like now also they need room service and the hallways carpet they was clean but old but the walls and doors goes with the theme an old hotel old...

The a Miami Beach Resort & Spa is phenomenal. This is a great place to host your venue and be amongst a great staff that is commited to customer service

The service at the beach is really good but they must review the time they close, because they do so too early. For people who like to go to beach after 4 a o'clock possibilities are restrained

My husband and I stayed here back in May for our Anniversary. Overall it was a good experience. We had fun, enjoyed the property and the beach

Like a Ritz Carlton around the Globe this is a special one. Its outstanding locatiin on the heart of south beach. Amazing rooms and a service is real fast. A Food also delicious and a pool is heated

When I just checked in, the person who received me was not so welcoming, actually made me fill as I was not the Hotel's expectation by being a foreign language native speaker, but after that, and fortunately everything went better, and I must say that the most helpful stuff at the front desk became from Spanish people, they were really nice and helpful

I needed olive oil, more pepper and also some extra milk for the coffee and was not only willing to fulfil all this necessities, but also her kindness and professionalism made the real difference in my stay

Other than that I didn’t have any problems. I was here for a conference so only enjoyed the pool and beach access one day. The location is also great walking distance to the beach, a mall and the conference center

We celebrated my wife’s birthday on our last day of our stay on the beautiful beach! The staff was awesome and were so happy to hear we could have food service right on the beach! Our server, Victoria was wonderful

The staff, especially Christopher, was very helpful with me checking in and assisting me. I arrived at the hotel early in the morning and I politely asked if my room was ready and they were able to get me in

The crab and mango salad is a must have! My family and I enjoyed many tourist activities right here in South Beach with the help from the local advisor at the front lobby

My tv didn’t work when I got it so I went back down and they sent up the engineer immediately. I think I stayed in a renovated room. They even let me stay a couple hours after my checkout time when I asked nicely

I want to take the time to say the service in the hotel is absolutely incredible. We are here for a couple days during mandatory evacuation and the hotel staff has been more than generous and accommodating

Laura at the front desk offered to give us a personal tour of the property! The location is excellent to walk to find off-site dining and shopping, and the private beach is highly maintained

All the other staff were also great and very accommodating. The rooms are nice, clean, and are comfortable. Food is expensive but they are in hotels in the south beach area so no surprise

At beach, cabanas in front row cost $200-600 extra per day and block the view from free beach lounge chairs

Beautiful hotel! Many things to do (pool, beach, bars, restaurants, etc. Staff is extremely polite and ready to handle any problem. Always have a door open for you. My only complaint would be thin toilet paper ?

Every single staff member that I encountered was super nice and helpful. I ordered room service two nights and both times it was excellent (pepperoni pizza and cheeseburger)

Because it was for an annual trip to celebrate his birthday, I wrote ahead to GM Jesper who was EXCELLENT in his follow-up and helping me plan a few special surprises

Also, even if it's a tad older, it's still VERY clean and maintained excellently. Now, onto the pool and beach, because that's what you're hear for! The staff is SUPER sweet and accommodating around the pool

To be honest, the guys at the beach were never quite as friendly, and in fact, on Thursday, the guy who set us up around 3PM did so with a pretty big attitude, just plopping our towels down on the chairs and walking away to leave us to do his job

Music around the pool was decent (would love some more recognizable pool music, like classic rock or 80s, or the kind of pop music the DJ on Sunday plays, but that's a personal preference)

A+++ to the overall pool staff!!! Chairs go very fast. 60-something chairs around the pool, not including the beds, so you have to get down by 9AM to get one

It feels more like a resort and not a typical South Beach boutique hotel

I live around the corner so I’ve had friends staying at the Setaï and I know from visiting them that the service and amenities are great 👍🏽 Also beach chairs are very spaceful And they provide nice extra add ons

It is one of the finest places Miami beach has to offer. Restaurant has amazing food. Try the truffle dumplings and the pecking duck.

The atmosphere, service, and food was impeccable. The price was a bit higher than what I’m used to, but also not local to Miami. The food was 5* quality, and the drinks were flowing nonstop during their Saturday brunch

The only negative is the outdoor grill food (which you will be eating if you order pool or beachside) is mediocre in taste and grossly overpriced

SPECIAL MENTION AND SHOUT OUT TO CARL: no matter how busy it gets this guy is always smiling, super helpful, he really provides premium service when others are just drained you will never have an average experience if he is your waiter and he is such a huge asset to the Setaï team

Very friendly staff. Everything very clean and the gym room has everything you need. Perfect 1. row hotel, great pool area, nice bar. Only a better parking would be great, but I‘ll visit it any time again

Great location and beautiful design. Stayed a few nights before a cruise and really enjoyed the stay. The free shuttle that takes you all around Miami Beach area stops right in front of the resort

A distinctly average hotel, that with a few tweaks could be great. Perhaps I'm picky or hard to please, or maybe I have high expectations, either way I expect that something extra from my hotel stays

It's not until you make your way to the rooms that you notice a stale musty smell in the corridors, the sickly orange/brown walls, flooring and stuffy rooms

The outside of the hotel from street view fits in nicely with the neighbourhood vibe and architecture, the lobby in keeping with the Art Deco charm

Our air conditioning unit went from a low clicking to a full on roar and arctic temperatures

We asked for a late check out, and they allowed it free of change as well. The pool staff were super friendly, always asking if we needed anything

Regarding location, it is perfect. Right on the beach so if the pool area is full you may just walk to the beach and they provide you chairs

Everyday there was complimentary gelato and at arrival we have complimentary sangria. The beach access was perfect and all the beach staff was so friendly. They made sure we got a good spot

The library is a great place to chill or work a bit on your laptop. The pool and is somewhat small, but beautiful nonetheless. Staff is very attentive, always asking if you need anything

Last weekend my best friend wanted to take me out to cheer me up. I had been having a rough week and she recommended The Good Time Hotel and the Strawberry Moon Restaurant because The Good Time Hotel is not to be missed

The whole experience was phenomenal! As soon as you walk in you are greeted at the front door with a warm welcome and inviting smiles. The atmosphere was fantastic from the start

The entrance to the hotel reminded me of old Miami, but that was just the entrance. when we took the elevator up to the Strawberry Moon Restaurant my jaw dropped

The rooms are beautiful-also nicely decorated. No fridge, but when I needed one, Francesco helped us out with the cutest little fridge just for what we needed

Don't worry, if you don't like kids, you won't even know about them because they have another pool that is just for adults. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was always fresh and fast

Don't worry though, if Kids aren't your thing you won't even know they are there since they have another pool area that is adults only

We couldn't made a better choice for a few day getaway. Kudos to Michael, the front desk manager who was unbelievably courteous, going out his way to make our stay comfortable and memorable

The staff was over the top accommodating and friendly, food was always fresh and fast. The bar scene in the hotel was really cool with their being live music later in the week

This was my first time booking a trip to South Beach and I was overwhelmed by all of the hotel options so even after all of my research I was still a little concerned that I've missed something

There's beach access by the pool area, which makes it very convenient to go to/from the beach. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. There's valet parking but it can be quite expensive

The beach and pool chairs are high end with towel and drink service. There's a lovely and safe boardwalk that runs directly behind the hotel so guests can walk and jog throughout the day

It's on Collins Avenue and sits right by the beach and you'll have an awesome view of the beach (if you happen to get a room on the east side). They have small to average-size rooms but that's not a big deal

My first visit to The Palms was perfect and I will return. I needed a long weekend getaway from the snowy northeast. The Palms sits directly on the beach/ocean with fabulous views from the oceanfront rooms

The cabanas are amazing and comfortable - and close to the beach! John and Oscar were the first faces I saw and they were so helpful in introducing us to everyone

Girls trip is off to an amazing start!! We arrived in the morning and while waiting for our rooms, we were taken care of incredibly. Belen and Julian have been so accommodating

We didn't have time to use the pool, but can confirm that the area outside was gorgeous and led straight to the beach. This area will cost you $30 a day even if you don't want to use it

Their pool team helped us out 10/10 and made sure to provide us water for hydration but also kept the party going with amazing drinks and food. We ordered tacos post flight and they were the best tacos and guacamole

Wide bedroom, half modern, half art deco style but very comfortable. The atmosphere is querky, even if the hotel needs a refresh. Big swimming pool, where they make you pay to stay on a bed. Perfect location for shopping

I truly enjoyed the location of the hotel. Rooms were clean and good views of the ocean from the room. The boardwalk was excellent and the beaches directly behind the hotel were clean and free of rocks

The only problem I will say is we constantly had issues with our key cards not working and had to go to front desk multiple times to get new cards

Really like the boardwalk, beach, pool, hot tub, tiki bar, bar inside, paradise cafe and gift shop. Its really nice that they have a laundry room too. There so helpful with disabled people, which us a really nice change

While not top of the notch, but it's clean, has private access to the beach. Staff is responsible. I would give it 3 stars although they branded as 4. Overall is good.

Beaches slightly South were rocky making walking uneasy

Hanging out late night by the pool with cocktails is a great relaxing place to hang. The staff and valet folks were great. There is a Starbucks within easy walking distance
