I loved my stay at the Edition - the customer service was excellent, the food was great, room and bed were comfy, the amenities were plentiful and the location was great. Every single staff member that I encountered was super nice and helpful. I ordered room service two nights and both times it was excellent (pepperoni pizza and cheeseburger). Pool area was beautiful and I liked the mix of vintage and modern architecture. Starbucks right across the street was a nice plus.
Full disclosure, I won a stay through a sweepstakes so I did not pay for my stay - however, I did pay for all of the extras, meals, etc.

An exclusive location, crazy expensive, but luxurious with courteous and customer-oriented staff. Very close to the beach, good amenities. A certain mishap with my room service was corrected in a gracious and courteous way.

Unfortunately our experience did not live up to expectations.
I will start with the positive things of staying there:
1) location is at the beach and in less crowded area compared to other hotels
2) Rooms are spacious
3) There are 2 pools with different dipth to accommodate kids
4) There are 6 bikes to use for free ( up to 2 h a day)
Now the disappointing side came from a multiple things we experienced throughout our stay that I am gonna list below:
1) We arrived at 10 am from a long trip and bc of their check in policy we did not get in the room till after 3.30 pm (understandably)
2) for 2 consecutive days we did not get any replenishment of the bathroom shampoo, body wash etc,...so they have to bring us a bag full of them per our request
3) TV remote did not work properly and had to ask twice to replace it's battery. Still after they replace it or put new batteries the remote did not work so maybe it was a problem with the TV itself ( room#817)
4) Bed and pillows are very uncomfortable. Honestly that was the worst part for me. I was told by one of the manager on check out that they could have helped if I have mentioned it to them on day 1.
5) The location of the hotel is nice and more on a quiet block but also it's a far walk from a lot of amenities like pharmacy, restaurants etc,..if that matters to you
In general this was my personal impression of the hotel and I am sure some other ppl have more positive experience. For me I would not come back again bc I expected better stay than what I have received.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Miami Beach EDITION for a friends' 40th birthday weekend. The service was awesome, from the front desk to housekeeping to the pool to the restaurant and bar. The room was spacious and clean. The location was also great, close enough but yet far away enough from the hustle of South Beach. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to visit Miami.

The Edition Hotel in Miami Beach fell short of expectations in several crucial aspects. From the moment of arrival, the visible lack of cleanliness was immediately apparent. The linens in the room and the bathroom were not up to standard, which significantly detracted from the overall experience. While the hotel's theme of all-white aesthetics might contribute to the challenge of maintaining cleanliness, it shouldn't be an excuse for visibly unclean conditions.
Despite this, the hotel did have a redeeming quality in its pool areas. Offering two separate pools, the pool areas were appealing and well-maintained. Additionally, the availability of day beds on the beach behind the hotel was a nice touch.
However, the experience was marred by the hotel's handling of certain situations. Incurring an extra charge due to a flight cancellation, despite arriving a day late, was an unwelcome surprise. Moreover, discovering a large water bug in the room prompted an early departure. This was a clear indication of inadequate pest control and hygiene standards.
The saving grace was the response from the hotel manager, Christopher, upon receiving the complaint. Christopher acted responsibly by crediting the extra night charge, aligning the final bill with the actual duration of the stay.
In summary, while the hotel had some positive attributes like its pool areas and beach amenities, the overall cleanliness standards, additional charges, and the presence of pests significantly impacted the experience. It wasn't the worst stay, thanks to the manager's responsiveness, but it's not a place I'd choose again without significant improvements in cleanliness and service.

Excellent service, 5/5 for service. The food was delicious and the drinks amazing 5/5. The rooms were elegant but there were a few minor quibbles that make this a 4/5 review overall. In the room, the lighting was a but sub-par. The design while beautiful, relied in natural light which was insufficient during cloud cover. Adding a few bright lights in the room would pull this up! The restroom was reasonable, no complaints there. The last issue was the pillows. While long and not flat, they were less comfortable than in comparable hotels. Overall amazing stay and great orchestration for the wedding I was attending. Would stay again! 9/10, but I'm rounding down

A very civilized place. But all the industrial beauty overshadows the ocean, Miami is the ocean and the beach. In ordinary cafes, the food is so so, expensive. A bunch of Russian and all signs in Russian. All fences plastered with posters and announcements of performances of the Russian "stars." The ocean and beach - all...

I am only giving 4 stars and not 5 because our room was not ready until 5pm the day we checked in however, because of that, we received a $100 dining credit at the hotel and the staff made it easy for us to store our luggage and enjoy the pool and beach. The food here is great, the rooms were cleaned early each day and the hotel is beautiful. This is an elegant hotel and not a crazy party hotel.

Usually come to this Hotel for Business Conferences every year. The establishment has a Sleek Modern Design. Food and Service is rather Basic. Ballrooms are not very big. Just about big enough for a 150-175 people.
