Fontainebleau Miami Beach

I stayed in this hotel with my family from April 11 to April 16 and overall the rating is 4 out of 5, we were satisfied with everything, although on the last day of our visit we noticed that my wife’s new shoes were missing. We filed report together with the security guard. We hope the hotel management will consider its reputation, accumulated over many years, important and will respond.

- I have stayed at the fountainbleu many times but the service during our stay this time was poor at best. We were given our rooms 2 hours after check in time with no apology. The gate to get into the hotel is broken from the beach and I spent a lot of time with other guests locked out when employees would just ignore customers locked out and say oh yea it’s broken. We had 3 rooms booked and they all had a large clicking noise. Whenever I ordered an Uber the hotel would send it away and tel them to cancel. One day at the pool a waitress said can I get you anything? I said a coffee please and she just said no and walked away….we had 3 rooms and we were not allowed to each start a tab for our own room because that is “complicated”. I don’t know how it is anymore complicated then the 3 of us having chairs and not knowing each other and starting tabs. Anytime you have an issue with your room you must wait in a 30 minute front desk line. We were checked in incorrectly so that we had to wait in line to be able to charge to our rooms when dining at the pool. A mistake by the hotel but one that deeply annoyed the servers. This just a small sample of bad service we had. Everyday it was something new.
