The Ritz-Carlton South Beach

My wife and I stayed here during a 5 day trip and enjoyed every moment. We were upgraded to a partial ocean view room with a king bed upon check in and were pleasantly surprised to see the hotel staff had set up decorations to celebrate the purpose of our trip. The room was very comfortable, pool and beach were beautiful, and the service never disappointed. We ate most of our meals outside of the hotel, we like exploring, but the meals we did have at the hotel were all great.

My husband and I stayed here back in May for our Anniversary. Overall it was a good experience. We had fun, enjoyed the property and the beach. However; it was not the superior experience that I expect or have experienced at other ritz Carlton properties in the past. The only issue was that my husband and I were told we would receive a cabana bed complimentary because we were celebrating our anniversary, but that did not happen. We did not ask for it but were offered this amenity. We went ahead and purchased it anyway but it was a disappointment to feel special and celebrated only to be told later that was not the case. I just feel there are definitely some training opportunities at this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for approximately 15 nights, so I had the chance to know the place and also the service quite well.
The Lobby is both chic and comfortable, the bar at the lobby is really good and the service is also highly recommended. my room was very comfortable and room service was also great. housekeeping is of high standards and Mary that was in charge, was helpful and nice all the time.
Room service was good, but I hoped they has more variety of dishes to choose from. And despite room service wasn't open late at night, the service I had from Yuliet, was honestly one of a kind. I needed olive oil, more pepper and also some extra milk for the coffee and was not only willing to fulfil all this necessities, but also her kindness and professionalism made the real difference in my stay.
Service at the front desk had many ups and downs. When I just checked in, the person who received me was not so welcoming, actually made me fill as I was not the Hotel's expectation by being a foreign language native speaker, but after that, and fortunately everything went better, and I must say that the most helpful stuff at the front desk became from Spanish people, they were really nice and helpful. They both helped me very accurately with the packages that came from Amazon and also gave me the chance to make all the extra questions and requirements that came to my mind.
So in the overall, I had a great time at this hotel, with truly a good service that made the trick. Especially from Mari of the housekeeping service, and Yuliet that overwhelmed all the expectations with both her kindness and professionalism. I wish everyone else has the great experience of staying at this astonishing hotel and receives the same great service I had. I highly recommend this hotel.
The service at the beach is really good but they must review the time they close, because they do so too early. For people who like to go to beach after 4 a o'clock possibilities are restrained.

Had a issue at the pool. Stepping away to buy 2 drinks in a coconut 🥥 which was under 10 minutes the staff removed our things from pool to give the spot to others. They tried to correct it but felt it could have been handled better. Hopefully our next trip there will be better.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying 5 nights at the Ritz earlier this month. From the moment of check-in, when Cosmo made sure we were able to get an ocean front suite (as Marriott ambassador members), to the friendliness of all staff (I’ll also mention Davide who was super helpful with moving us to our suite). Staff were wonderful, not just to us but to our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Danger. Rooms are beautifully appointed, pool and restaurant staff were friendly and super helpful and the valet staff were wonderful; every day saying hello’s to Danger and helping us at check out when there was a mix up with bell service! This is by far our favorite hotel on South Beach! Look forward to staying again next month.

I always enjoy staying at the Ritz it's a home away from home. The spa food and service is phenomenal can't get any better in comfort or luxury hotel.

This hotel has been closed since September 2017, more precisely after the hurricane. Unfortunately, they still have their website and people are still trying to reserve rooms.
It was a very nice and clean hotel with an amazing staff. I hope they will be back soon, I'll keep you informed. For now, don't waste your time trying to book a room at this location. Happy Holidays.
