As a diamond elite member I was offered an upgrade to a times square view. Customer service was good. Rooms are clean and view from our room was impressive. Only main complaints were that the ac didn't really get cold was lucky to get below 22 degrees. And the room we had the carpet was missing parts. Beds were comfy and as I said very clean. The carpet might have just been a one off that needs replacing but still not that impressive for the room cost.

This hotel is extremely busy but this is a great location, close to food, trains, and everything you need. In particular I wanted to compliment Freddy at the front desk. The best customer service ever. He answered all my questions and was even able to make several great suggestions. His knowledge about the area and his kindness goes a long way. I will definitely be back because of him

Excellent location and friendly staff. The breakfast place is a cafe so not much choice there. There is a small bar and you can leave the luggage in the check room for the day, on check out. Hotel is in times square so always a happening place. While the room occupancy can be up to 4 adults, there were only 2 of coffee or tea provisions, these were not topped up for triple occupancy even on request. Other guest support (couldn't get hot water working) was prompt and efficient.

Recently stayed and the rooms are extremely dated (old, dingy and dirty). My tub was gross and the lamp did not work when pulled out the night stand to see if it was plugged in it just re-enforced how old and decrepit the hotel is. There are no amenities such as, fitness center, pool, in room dining. I would not waste my time at the coffee shop there. When I went to the coffee shop there was a huge line of angry guests with 2 people working who did not know what they were doing, there were more people leaving the line then joining to wait. Needless to say, we just went elsewhere. They list that they have valet parking but they don't it is a separate company at the base of the hotel you pay separate and have to pay every time you get your vehicle. There is no security unless you count a random guy in the lobby yelling at people to show him your room key. That was only in the evenings, the rest of the time there is no control for entry access or elevators. From a guest service perspective they are barley a 3 start hotel, the nicest person we spoke with was at check-out and house keeping did good and was on time everyday.
This hotel is a location only stay, with that said, there are so many better places walking distance to the same area so do your research and stay somewhere nice.

Made a great choice by choosing this hotel. The location is perfectly in Times Square without being amongst the chaos. The room was great, no complaints. I'm writing this review not only to share my positive experience, but also to thank Eric the security director and Mabel, who I assume is from the housekeeping department. I accidentally left my coat in the hotel room closet and they were able to find it and send it to me back home in Chicago. They were amazingly helpful and I am very grateful.

Standards hotel in the heart of new York. The Windows looked out directly on times Square. But, to be honest, almost all the hotels here (with this fault) the same. I was in three different and significant differences are not noticed. Except that there was a good Wi-Fi. ??

I thought my stay at the hotel was awesome. They upgraded my room to one with a view of Times Square and it did not disappoint. Also, the layout of the room was very interesting. It was also very modern and updated, with interesting decor. My biggest issue with it is it's a pain to get from the street level up to your floor if you have a stroller or wheelchair. You have to shuffle between elevators.

Really nice hotel. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Quiet room. TV has nice selection of channels. Right in the heart of the theater district, in fact Chicago is playing right across the street. Walking distance to Times Square and so much more. There's a coffee/pastry bar in the hotel along with a nice breakfast buffet that offers a full hot buffet as will as a less expensive cold buffet option. I chose the cold option and was very pleased with a toasted bagel, cream cheese, cucumber and smoked salmon, pineapple and melon, cheese, a chocolate croissant, fruit juice and coffee. The concierge was helpful and check in quick and painless.
I did ding tht Crown Plaza one star because they actually CHARGE guests to use the computers in the business center. What?!?! Also I've seen business centers better stocked with notepaper, pens, staplers etc but other than that, I really enjoyed my stay..
