Perfect hotel for a perfect getaway. Everything is within walking distance. I am a regular visiting NYC for both business and leisure. When I am here with family, we live staying at the Marquis. The rooms are spacious unlike several other hotels in this prime location — I’ve stayed in those as well. Yes, it’s on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. Enjoy!

PRO: Location! Lots of hotels advertise that they are "steps from Times Square, " but this hotel literally is.

PRO: Rooms are a good size by Times Square standards.

PRO: Hotel is big with quick, glass-view elevators.

CON: Daily food credit somehow doesn't apply to the hotel Starbucks OR the hotel market, which is literally across from the restaurant on the 8th floor.

CON: We used up our two paper coffee cups the first night, and housekeeping never brought us any more for the rest of our 4-night stay. Local shortage?

OVERALL: Most other hotels in this area are less expensive, but you get what you pay for. If it's a Times Square stay you're looking for, save yourself the price of disappointment and stay here. Just remember to ration your coffee cups.

I was very pleased with our stay at Time Square Marriott Marquis. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we had an excellent view from our room. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We are right around the corner of the center of Time Square.i would highly recommend. Also, right across the street from the best chocolate shakes and best cheese cake ever. (Juniors)

Basically, Times Square is trash. A local referred to it as Disney, over priced and nothing original. The hotel was nice but I had issues. Rm 1704... the AC never got below 72 degrees. Even after contacting the front desk. My biggest complaint is that when checking in, they said there was an addition charge of 30 dollars a day but that 30 dollars could be used as credit towards hotel purchases for that day. Straight up extortion. I feel like I would of had a better NYC experience by staying in or around the neighbors. But if you enjoy 26 dollar burger and fries, this is your place. I will say, everyone I talked to at the hotel, was really nice. They did provide good service.

I love this hotel so much. The staff is very nice the location is amazing! The view from our room was neat and the room was super clean and not outdated. Could not hear any traffic and was quiet the whole night. Huge hotel with a bunch of people, it takes a long time to get on the elevator but everything else was fine. The food was good and the subway is super close which was convenient.

+ Firm, comfy bed. Great bathroom with spacious shower. And the best (and most shocking part?) SO QUIET! shockingly quiet for Times Square. It was awesome. Very clean and tidy Charming staff all over. Helpful and polite even when things were busy and buzzing
