We picked this hotel by chance during a trip to San Diego, and it turned out to be one of the best surprises of our getaway. From the moment we stepped into the warm, luxurious lobby, we felt welcomed. The staff were genuinely kind, the rooms spotless, and everything about the place felt thoughtfully cared for.
My son used the gym and really liked it—it had everything he needed. The rest of us spent our evenings by the fire pits after a swim. We had dinner at the hotel one night, and to our surprise, every single dish hit the mark. The live pianist in the lobby added such a lovely touch to our time at the bar.
We ended up staying an extra night just to soak it all in a little longer. Thank you for making our trip feel so relaxing and memorable.

Hotel shuttle never arrived at the airport after an hour of waiting and calling the hotel twice to find ETA of said shuttle ending up taking a taxi and by the time we arrived the shuttle was just leaving the hotel. Voiced concern to the front desk when checking in only for them to “upgrade” us already had a king room reserved and the room the “upgraded “ us to was a 2 quenn room, AC didn’t work in the room and the room was hot all night. Local restaurant brewery x on site cost 100$ for 2 people 1 meal and 2 drinks absolutely not staying here again. Guess they don’t care about my gold elite status as it gets you nothing.

We rented a cabana for the day by the pool. It was nice, the location is decent and the pool area seems well kept. The cabana was nice.
We placed an order for food by the pool. 40 minutes later, it still hadn't arrived, so I asked a server what was happening. They clearly forgot. They then brought us free fries, but they brought everything to go, which meant we had to unpack everything and ruined the vibe. It also felt like they expected us to leave. For the price of the cabanas, I was pretty upset.
They also brought us a fruit plate. Halfway through, my husband noticed the grapes had a white substance on them. I don't know if it was mold or sulfur or what, but we were done. We asked for the check.
After we left I got ill. I called the concierge and reported the issue. She said she'd notify her food staff, but that was it.
My husband and daughter also got sick. I don't recommend it. Honestly, for the price, I'm pretty upset. We spent $70 on food to be poisoned.

The Sheraton San Diego resort is one that may change your expectations in what a hotel offers its customers. It provides comfort, access to quality restaurants that represent diverse cuisines, and customer service with personality and a smile. The food menu is sufficient and the bartenders are well versed in creating whatever cocktails you may enjoy. The rooms are quiet, the water pressure is strong, and the cost is competitive. I was able to walk from the hotel to the airport with no difficulties.

Upon check-in, you can see several check-in desk empty and yet standing in a line of 8 people.
Once greeted, it went well and they were friendly and helpful,
The room is remodelded but for the amout paid, it was a balcony room that faced a bird-sh%$ pickle ball fence court. For the money, not worth it. Code: "Balcony" does not mean nice view. Only that you can step out a see sh&^ and dirt.
The lobby and resutrants are nice and staff extremely pleasant. The food however is average… but the decor/ambiance is above normal.
The Internet is spotty at best and slow most of the time. Better to just hot-spot from your own phone.
There are too many other options and thus not worth returning. It's not that the stay was terrible, but for the money, simply not worth it.
Kudos to the marketing team who made it look like it’s something that’s not, but you have to realize, it only takes one day to realize the majority of the hotel doesn’t look or feel like anything you put in pictures.
As the saying goes, fool me once, shame on you. Fool, me twice, shame on me.

I am really impressed with this location. The newly remodeled rooms are beautiful. The location is stunning and perfect , so close to everything . The property is right on the harbor with views pretty much all around. They have an”adults only pool” and a family pool which also has a view of the harbor with just a trail diving the two. There is a super cute cabana bar at the pool ( only open on weekends )
There are a couple of restaurants in the hotel , we ate at one and it wasn’t great , but it was beautifully decorated. The check in was exceptional. We were able to check in early without an issue .
We’ve spent alot of time at the family pool and it’s just perfect . Huge pool with a grand spread of shallow waters for the littles, and the hot tub is big. There are also activities like corn hole and a shuffleboard kind of table game, and offered complimentary s’mores kits each day.
Overall this hotel is beautiful, and the price is great. We haven’t had to spend more than 15 minutes in the car to get anywhere. Dinners, the zoo, sites etc. highly recommend

Even though I gave them a score of 4, if the is an overall rating I would give a 3. They messed up my reservation. I booked a king bed with bay view but instead they put me in a room with 2 double beds and the view was the back of a tennis/pickle ball court. Room was on first level of Lanai tower near end of the hallway close to stairs so high foot traffic so noise come from everywhere, footsteps from second level, hallway, and from outside balcony.☹️
Not worth the room price per night
