The Guild Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

In what world this is a "4 star" hotel, I'm not sure. Maybe I don't understand the star rating system, but we were disappointed with our stay at the Guild.

Our room was tiny and its quality unimpressive. The TV was off to the side of the bed (the bathroom being directly in front and taking up an entire wall), which made watching the TV uncomfortable. The building itself is old and in need of renovation and gave kind of cheap feel overall. The staff was hit or miss, some were helpful and friendly, others aloof and apathetic.

The hotel charges a little over $25/day in destination and other fees (in addition to the room rate), which they try to make up for by offering things like $25/day of use at their bar/counter service restaurant, free admission to a local museum, free overnight parking, and free bike rentals. That sounded nice at first, especially the free parking, but the food and the museum were both just mediocre.

This is not a four star hotel, in my mind at least, and definitely not worth the $250/night we paid.
