Amazing hotel, Great staff. Had an Amazing stay. We ordered room service and the burger had to be the best I’ve ever had. Close to city maybe 15 min walk Very accommodating room was clean large and quite. Can’t wait to come back x
We check out tomorrow but our stay has been nothing short of wonderful. The grounds are well kept. The staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are nice and comfortable. We had a king room with a roll away bed. Perfect for a family of three. One shower and a separate bath, equally as nice. Breakfast while a bit expensive for a buffet, was tasty and worth the investment. The...
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Park Hyatt. Definitely recommend staying there. Staff were so helpful and accommodating. They had our room ready early. The chef at breakfast was very chatty and when he heard it was our wedding anniversary he made pancakes and brought them over congratulating us!! Can’t speak more highly of the great time we had!! Will definitely be back! Thanks again.
Good, spacious rooms, quiet and tranquil location on the edge of the city and less than 500m from the buzz of the city. Staff members everywhere were extremely polite and helpful and this aspect really stood out for me. It was near perfect, except that food options were quite limited in the two eateries and the quality was quite ordinary so we were not tempted to have meals at this hotel. The dining...
This hotel has very impressive rooms. They are very spacious with a full walk in robe that you can also access the bathroom from. It had a very large bathroom as well. The rooms are nicely furnished. The breakfast was excellent too with the 5 star experience you would expect like made to order omelletes and very attentive service.

Free shuttle to airport. Breakfast was fantastic. Dinner was also great. One of the best risottos I have had in my life!!!
Virgin put me here after cancelling my flight, and it was exactly what I needed after such a stressful experience. No issues with walking in at 1am, getting checked into my room, and then leaving on the shuttle at 6:30am. If you need to stay near the airport, this is perfect.
Great service, comfy stay, awesome breakfast and good coffee. What more could you want? It was so easy for us arriving in at the airport and arranging our shuttle back to the hotel. Will definitely be returning when in need of accommodation in Melbourne again
The free shuttle to and from the airport was reliable and efficient. The reception and breakfast staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and well laid out. Two door cards should be provided for each room so that one person can stay in the room with the lights on, while another person could use a second card key to enter the swimming pool. The bathroom was fabulous with a shower and...
fast and convenient shuttle service to the airport
Was chucked here by Jetstar after they cancelled our flight. The room itself was homely and cozy. Beds wonderfully soft. The shower was well designed and bathroom amenities were of vegan friendly variety. The gym was pretty well outfitted. Food was pretty great too! Best are the staff though. Super friendly and welcoming.

Amazing hotel right across the waterfront. Evening walks are beautiful here. There are some nice pubs and bars. There is a nice Thai restaurant, Miss Ping’s. Supermarkets like Woolworths, Costco etc is in very close proximity. And the Tram stop D11 is right outside the hotel. Overall perfect location for business and family travellers.
Room and facilities were lovely, the pool was the best, an amazing pool. The service was average. I called for room service about 45 minutes before it stopped and I'd received nothing, so called back about 45 minutes later, said they'd fix it up and nothing came and my husband went down to ask them and they said the kitchen was closed now so they couldn't do anything. Had a similar issue the next...
Absolutely wonderful hotel experience. Top notch. Everything was lovely. Ned at the front desk was amazing. Also, the buffet was awesome. They even had a juicer with fresh fruit and veggies so you can make your own juice. The only reason for not a 5th star is that the staff all seemed genuinely sad that the hotel was being sold and would no longer be a Marriott property.
Fabulous location at edge of reconstructed Docklands. We used the free tram to get around town, so easy the stop is about 200 m from hotel entrance. Rooms pleasant with big rainfall shower in bathroom. Sorry , but beer on tap in bar far too cold to taste it.
Scored a great deal using Marriott Bonvoy points. Free trams are half a block from the hotel and you can get anywhere in central Melbourne without a car or ride share. The room felt new with nice linens, the steam sauna was a bonus. The bartender makes a delicious cappuccino, the breakfast buffet actually had a juicer with fresh fruits and carrots.
Great hotel and staff. Could chromecast to the TV, great so kids could watch their streaming shows. Loved the outdoor pool and spa even with the cold weather

Second stay here and very happy with the room and room service we enjoyed. The rooms are really spacious with great views of the airport. Absolutely central to domestic and International terminals, I would say again and highly recommend.
Excellent, stay again So convenient
Good hotel to stay if you have an early flight the next day and next to the airport. But there’s some stains on the table.
Excellent location with easy access to airport, room for improvement for room service (call reception for some forks and spoons but no one come).
Very good , big room , big TV, comfortable bed , good view from the room
Super near the airport! Just a bridge away from the airport which is great if you have an early flight. Though there may be noise from plane arrival and departure.

Great location and service from staff
Used the swimming pool even in winter. Not too cold and was enjoyable
This property is very close to everything. Staff are kind & helpful, easy check in & check out. Clean, comfy bed with modern bathroom however the floor quite slippery when wet it needs bathroom rail it's risky & dangerous to fall which is safety & health issues I hope the management will look into this matter. Other than that, my stay was pleasant & consider to stay here again in my future trips. I...
We stayed for 3 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The location was excellent—just a short walk to Southern Cross Station, trams, shops, and great cafes. We felt safe too as police station was just opposite from the hotel. The room was quite spacious for two people, and we appreciated the convenience of the area. The room was quiet we slept well at night, was hard to take a nap in the afternoon...

great location centralised in the perfect spot, clean, modern rooms
Right in the middle of town, but removed from the hustle and bustle. The hotel staff made me feel very special and looked after from the time I set foot in the lobby. Room was high quality and modern, with a lot of nice amenities. Breakfast on Level 14 was amazing - with a mimosa and bloody mary bar! Highly recommended.
Had a very good stay here. The room was great and the lounge was excellent. Staff was generally very friendly. The lobby entrance isn't so welcoming and not all lifts were working at the beginning of the stay. It's the perfect location for exploring the city. Food was excellent.
Very well located for seeing and doing everything in Melbourne. The room we had was clean and well furnished. The TVs large and easy to plug in my chomecast (which is annoyingly often an issue!). Sound proofing could be improved to reduce street noise, but if you book a hotel in the centre of a city noise is to be expected so I can't mark it down for this. We had a problem with our room key a couple...
We had a nice few nights here, nice room with a great 🚿 shower. Not a great view from the room though. Staff friendly & helpful, breakfast ample. Pity our A/C broke down on our last night there but got a fan in it's place. Convenient location near the tram stop.
A great hotel in a fabulous location. The staff were fantastic, but reception is in a small area and can get busy. A minor error with my taxi booking on Saturday afternoon was fixed. My room on level 3 was very clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. The reception staff were very nice and helpful. Fire alarm went off one night at 8.30pm. We had to walk down fire escape 15 flights. False alarm due to apartments next door, part of the same hotel. There was no toilet brush, an important issue for any good hotel I would think. Really nice place, good location with easy access to public transport. Buffet breakfast available and on-site restaurant with bar. Friendly and helpful staff.
I had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne. Very happy staying at the Grand Chancellor. Close to just about anywhere we needed to go around town. Happy to be upgraded to a King room when we arrived at the hotel. Had a drink in the bar for happy hour. We didn't eat there as we had a voucher to use at a nearby restaurant.
Very good location. Shopping malls and restaurants in walking distance.

Lovely place, even prettier on the inside!
The location is great, but there are a few areas that need improvement: the curtains have mould, the blankets provided are loose wool covers that feel unclean, and the air conditioning was not working on the last night.

If you can get a room here, you should. They’re spacious, beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Great location, exceptionally clean, big rooms, comfy bed & pillows and all at a reasonable price. Stay here for work trips even though its 30 mins+ to the office. Lots of great restaurants & bars within walking distance & all the staff are friendly & welcoming. Highly recommended & will be back again in a few weeks.
We stayed three nights and it was a comfortable stay. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Having stayed here just over 4yrs ago, we were excited to come back. It was a little sad to see the hotel starting to look a little tired. Certainly wouldn’t deter us staying again as it’s still really nice and in a perfect spot, but some money needs to be invested into freshening the rooms...
Location was perfect as we had a function around the corner, it is walking distance to the train station if needed. Room had everything we needed, and we thought it was very reasonable. You do have to pay additional $30 , for parking, but it's cheaper than a fine. Hope to come back soon, thanks
Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Room was spacious but it was so noisy with the sound of pipes and aircon. Also the room wasn’t serviced every day, only if you hung the sign. The staff could use some training especially the weirdly, snobbish evening team. Stayed there for work but definitely won’t be going back.

Very comfortable hotel. I stayed here for two days when I had a meeting in Melbourne in 2016. The room was spacious, comfortable and it was fully equipped. The staffs were friendly and helpful. In fact, on my last day, I had to check out very early. They allowed me to have early breakfast before the checkout.
Great location in the heart of the Docklands. The room was very clean and modern; but there is improvement required for the overall experience. A lack of staff seems to be the cause of adverse experiences including check-in and dining. The hotel itself is just OK. The staff are fantastic, and so is the location. Just a few minutes of walking gets you to the beach, and a good selection of restaurants. I'd give three stars to the hotel itself, and five stars to the staff and the location.
A good weekend getaway and great helpful staff with smiles all the time. It was sweet they got us a lil something upon arrival too. Only downside is hotel needs refurbishment as looks quite rundown, needs a revamp badly but the view is nice facing the water for room 429. Great location with a relaxed beach side feel, easy walk to shops, cafes and pier. The hotel is clean and tidy although dated. Lacks a bit in professional service for a four star hotel in my opinion. I would class this as a resort hotel, with a laid back style. If you are looking for a reasonable coffee I would recommend Abbey Road cafe, a 15 minute walk.
The location & menu of the Esplanade Diner (formally Grill 3182) is brilliant and very reasonably priced. The view absolutely spectacular.
