Great river view, the room is clean. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area at night. There are pubs and restaurants on the opposite side of the river.

Would return here specifically due to the hospitality. I chose this stay due to its close proximity to my work at the time during my stay. The gentleman at front reception was polite and easy to deal with. Very exceptional service from my part. Rooms were great and had no issues while on site.

A good location near Flinders street train station, major tram stops, shops & restaurants. Only problem is that there is no place to unload luggage & car park is very narrow & limited. As we were given a room on the 2nd floor, it was also quite nosy. We were also happy with the free upgrade from studio to 2 bedroom apartment and having a nespresso coffee machine in the room.

Stayed with my father in a double basement room for a week. The apartment was spacious and in a great location near Fitzroy Gardens and lots of restaurants. This was our second stay and would certainly return. Staff were really helpful.

The first night was impossible to sleep — the building was so noisy from the strong wind (felt like a cyclone!), and I’m usually a deep sleeper. Luckily, the next night was calm and I slept well. It was a fantastic property to stay out and it is an extremely close to multiple theatres in the Melbourne CBD. I will definitely consider staying here again if I go to Melbourne to see musicals. It's also extremely easy to navigate around the CBD from the location.

Very clean and neat, but the fittings and furnishings are a little tired. The instructions for the air con were not very clear; not sure that we mastered it! Sadly the building works surrounding the property detracted from the ambiance.

I was a little disappointed with the so called balcony! It wasnt a balcony but a small outside space surrounded by building. Other than that it was a comfortable stay.

Great place to stay We were a family of 4 adults. Unit was a good size although a bit more couch seating options would have been great. Excellent location and free parking was definitely a win. Comfortable, well appointed and great location. Comfortable stay, location was perfect for exploring or staying in. This is the best motel I've stayed at in a while. Beautiful clean rooms with very comfortable beds and pillows, the shower 🚿 was so good. Food is great in the restaurant and service is exceptional.. free bus to and from the airport is a huge bonus. We were there for a weekend conference and were looked after exceptionlly well. This was a very convenient and comfortable choice for a one night stop between travels. It is a little distant from the airport, but there is free shuttle service. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms were. We have had bad experiences at some hotels near airports, so we were grateful for this nice room!

I attended a function at this hotel. Function rooms, tech and support seemed to be well organised. The catering was handled brilliantly, including dietaries! I would have appreciated a barista and machine for coffee. The bathrooms really needed to be checked hourly with the number of participants to keep tidy. The stairs to level two are very steep. Good location next to Victoria markets and the lobby is decent. The rooms are tired with marks on the walls and holes in the carpet. Theres also an unknown dirty smell in the rooms. We were extremely happy with our room last night . Yes it is a very old motel, however it was very clean and tidy. Loved the king size bed, all linen was spotless and fresh, pillows were sensational . Nice big shower with plenty of hot water.Staff are very welcoming and polite. Located in the center of Melbourne, convenient for travel. The two-bedroom room I booked was very spacious and had a large balcony. I could have given it a full score, but I was not satisfied with the parking. The entrance to the hotel garage is in a small alley at the back and is not easy to find. You need to enter 2 malt house lane in the navigation.

The room is large and spacious. It has everything you need. It is not crowded for four people. The view outside the room is also very good. The location is convenient. You can walk to the city center.

Although it is close to the train station, the soundproofing is good. The hygiene is OK, but the bathtub is broken and there is sticky stuff on the hair dryer. It is very close to the church, train station, etc., very convenient.

Great location close to restaurants and the beach. Service they went through the motions nothing friendly or outstanding Rooms whilst decent size were hot despite the air conditioning and we were in the front of the hotel where the trams ran until 1.30am and started again at 5.30am so not much sleep wouldn’t stay there again

The location was fantastic, right by Luna Park, the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and my room was large and comfy. That said, there is NO WiFi in the rooms, so if that's important to you, get a SIM card with data.

I stayed for 2 nights, I didn't like that I had to pay $25 a night parking. The room was alright, the bedding was clean, the bathroom stunk of stale water/urine, it wasn't pleasant. Friday night there was a lot of noise and someone's car alarm was going on and off from around 2 till at least 4.30. I wouldn't stay again. You need to something about the bathroom.

We chose the studio room as we needed to stay one night. The room was perfect, had all the facilities that we needed and the hotel was very close to the clinic we needed to visit. The furniture in the room was old but still served the purpose for our stay.

We had a great stay at the Claremont it is clean and simple exactly what you need on a quick little trip down to Melbourne so easy to get everywhere and staff are lovely. We stayed one night as we had a very early start for the airport the next day. Room was basic but very very clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen utensils. Plus points for not stocking filthy Lipton dirty water tea and providing a fairly decent tea. Great communication as we arrived after hours. First thing I noticed was how Easy it was to get too from the freeway, being in the heart of the city I thought traffic and parking would be a problem, but the parking,access and storage there was first class. The 6 levels of Carpark are easily maneuverable, With brilliant city views.

Amazing location on lygon street and having a kitchen was very convenient. Sheets and bathrooms were clean however the carpet and kitchen seemed to be over a decade old and they and the wallpaper are really due for an update, the carpet looked particularly scuzzy.

Good location, and staff communication - they let me check in 2hrs early. Unfortunately the toilet was loudly leaking/dripping all night long. When I opened the back of the toilet, there was a kitchen dishcloth wrapped around the broken inlet valve, water pouring out. So this must have been known to be an issue in the past, but an attempt to hide it rather than fix it made.

The room we booked online was different to what we stayed in. There was no dishwasher, oven or furnished patio area.

Sheets do not fit the mattresses, wasn't big enough to tuck under mattress so kept coming off No glasses in room 4

Second stay at the Adara, and was a 1 bed apartment and spacious. A little dated but perfect location for me and a 15 minute walk to the MCG. The only comment I would make is there was no hand soap, still uses disposable shampoo/conditioner etc and there is no dish in the shower to put them in.

A clean hotel close to public transport and food dining options. A perfect place to stay in Richmond. No bells and whistles, but very comfortable.
