Rooms are lovely and clean and tidy but the restaurant was the real winner here. I could honestly say I ordered one of the best chicken parmigiana's I've ever had and I have had thousands of them from everywhere so that's definitely a big call but I was extremely pleasantly surprised

I've stayed here a few times now, and the views are always great. The facilities are pretty comprehensive, and the surrounding area has convenient amenities. However, this time I had an issue with the washing machine; the drying function often didn't work properly. The gym is also quite small and has basic equipment.

Chinese travelers, a heads-up: I don't recommend housekeeping here. Seriously, take my advice. You might catch a glimpse of hot air balloons in the morning sometimes, but the rooms facing the street are really noisy.

The location was perfect, close to Woolworths, restaurants and cafes. The only downside was the mattress, it was very soft, which is not really good for the people who gets back pain, and there was no slippers for the shower or to use around the room.

Perfect location for train travelling, the hotel just apposite the southern Cross station, and the free tram ride just outside the hotel. There is no shower screen in the bath room so it is wet after showering. The shampoo bottle is locked to restrict usage so very difficult to press the bottle.

The location is very central, close to the Southern Cross Station. The rooms were okay, but had no safe. You need to rent one on the first level near the luggage storage. There was also no water, but you could buy some from reception or the 7/11 down the street. Shower was good, hot water and good pressure. I had an issue the first night, but quickly fixed.

I'm a loyal YHA customer and find hostels very convenient when traveling solo. However, this time the experience wasn't great because I happened to arrive when there was a concert nearby. The price was more than double the usual rate, which made it really bad value for money!

Recently done up to cater the business community. The rooms are spacious. Don't have to leave the place looking for a food outlet as the restaurants is open all the time and serves variety of great food. The fish we had on out first night was the best I have ever had. However did not advise that in room amenities could be requested , so had to call once I got to the room to find no amenities aside from soap.
