Hotels on first line in Albena

The only reason I give 4 stars not 5 is due to the fact that even though we stayed in an apartment we were allowed to have for free only one umbrella with two sunbeds at the beach

The guy who checks the room passports there is not friendly at all, only half of the umbrellas were used but he will not allow you to take an extra sunbed

Regardless what room type you pay, you only have this option on the beach

Decent but a little dated rooms, nice staff. Luckily the poolarea at the adjacent Flamingo Grand is accessible if you stay here. Very easy to find sunbeds.

Free Wi-Fi throughout the facility and also on the beach, however, is often overloaded and slow

We had booked an apartment with two bedrooms and a living room which is a great option for family with kids, or if you are a group of more than 2 adults and want to be in an apartment

It's very kid-friendly, with large pools, an aqua park, and playgrounds for the little ones. The beach bar was a nice touch too

The deluxe rooms have everything you need. Two toilets 🚻, balcony, air conditioning. AC is very gentle and well placed. They are for small kids and for adults. Ten minutes walk to the beach ⛱️

Staff was kind, even though some could improve a bit on their english. Thr hotel is not quite close to the beach, but it's very close to the aqua park, which is most likely its best selling point

The room was comfortable, without any critical flaws. Liked the kitchen and the bar ( local gin production is even nothing :) ) Far away from the beach, but do not consider it a problem

Very clean, with good food, it's a perfect place for families with kids. Nice pools with clean and warm water. The staff is nice and friendly

A great place for the family. As a 65+ solo traveller I have felt safe ,both around the location and the beach. September is very quiet here especially for a chill out holiday.

Amazing animation team, sport activities and dance shows, the aqua park is very good the beach is clean.

Our stay at Ralitsa Aqua Club was an absolute delight! The hotel provided a perfect blend of relaxation and fun. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived

A special mention goes to the bartender, whose exceptional service and friendly demeanor added an extra touch of enjoyment to our evenings. Their skill in crafting delicious cocktails was truly impressive

This year they decided to change the staff with people from Asian countries and the guys from Kazakhstan were excellent, smily and ok. But they also changed the kitchen staff with Turkish chefs and whatever they were

The entertainment staff was better this year than the last few( really made an effort to keep vacationers happy) However. they have increased the cost and they have decreased the value by a huge amount

I have always been happy and content with the choice because it used to be a sure bet for a successful, troublefree, experience. That is untill this year! The rooms were the same as ever

It's not a 4 star hotel persay, but still a very good experience, and it's literally right next to the beach!

My 6th time at this hotel it's rasy, friendly and clean. You get what you pay for. Expecting a 5 star hotel then find somewhere where you pay 5 star prices.

The best hotel in Albena resort. Spacious rooms with amazing sea view and steps away from the sand. All amenities included, the flat iron and coffee machine in the room is highly appreciated by my side

We spend a week with family in Paradise Blue. Hotel offers a food that is very good quality. - this is very difficult to find on Black Sea coast. Management and staff were very helpful and ready to satisfy our whims

Great place, good entertainment and fantastic bar staff and during the day a relaxed pool area with a well stocked bar; day time food is high quality and the staff all are masked up in the kitchen.

A nice hotel, looks as a 5 stars but it may be improved. Outdoor pools could be heated because in 30 May and 6 September when we were nobody could swim there. Lucky that they have an indoor pool (small one)

The breakfast and dinner are great. The food at the main restaurant is fresh and delicious. The a la carte restaurant is classy, offering amazing cuisine. The staff are helpful and polite

Hotel has very good location and that makes the stay relaxing. There was nothing that we needed and hotel do not offer. Kids enjoined the aqua zone a lot. Highly recommending the hotel

Very good value for the money we payed! We had a lovely time. Stayed here for 10 days, 2 adults, 2 kids. Good food (and varied), clean enough, lovely beach with enough sunbeds. They also have a swimming pool

Very good location ON a clean sandy beach. Sea water very clean with a long patch of shallow water, so it is suitable for children and non-swimming adults. Sunbeds and umbrellas free on the beach

Clean hotel pool, free sunbeds and umbrellas available, as well. Room are very clean with free air-conditioning. Restaurant food was excellent, varied and and it was never crowded. Entertainment team for children

As it is said; the hotel is on the beach. Anytime you need something from your room just go about 50 meters, take the elevator and you arrived. Also it is all-inclusive so we got food and beverages for free

Good food but not very diversified, fruit desserts etc There were 3 bars, all inclusive import drinks you can find everywhere, the pool was clean (130 cm deep, a little small) and the lounges by the pool were quite few

For a 3 star hotel the services were great. They offer all inclusive, and you get 3 free meals a day, pool access, beach lounger access, free bar and snacks, kids programs. The food was good and fruits fresh

You can also get wine, beer and fresh fruits - kitchen is clearly well functioning comparing to other places. The only draw back for me was that the beach is a bit too far, but it took me no more than 8min to get there

Well I love the place , since I was working there as a waiter.The people are super funny also very nice.Be happy when you are there coz the personal is working for you whit very very very positive energy

I'm glad I was at the Hotel Kompass in Albena, Bulgaria. The service at the restaurant ,, all inclusive " and the staff, the accommodation, the place... it's very nice. Almost is great... I felt great!

The only downside is that you had to force them to clean the rooms, and you have to pay for loungers mattress

I would say best value - you get everything you need for moderate price. Not perfect, no luxury, but it is worth the money. Food is good and divers with Balcan accents

Haa beach at 100m. Pretty isolated from other water parks thou. Also crowded during season. Raitsa water park is a better choice if you dont mind the distance from the beach.

Be aware Albena is very much a resort on it's own (there must be over a dozen hotels etc) but everything here in the resort is geared to getting your pennies and the prices are really high for Bulgaria

Spent 2 weeks here in September with my family. It was almost end of season so very quiet and not much to do except explore. This was to our liking tho as we wanted a very relaxing holiday

Overall a relaxing stay, but this hotel really needs a makeover It has seen some better times, so do not expect any luxury. Its located just by the beach which makes it very comfortable to move around back and forth

Hotel Nona is right on the beach in Albena. The hotel is designed in a way that almost all room have sea view. Food and drinks included in all inclusive packages were decent. Broadband was good speed as well

To go so far as to then every day on the bus ride to the sea - not quite right, so it's best 3* near the sea than in a 5* pool with stinking water

Mobile coverage is excellent due to few cells installed on adjacent building. The beach is one of the nicest in Bulgaria, wide , long with very fine sand. The area is very quiet, perfect for good rest

Everything was wonderful, beginning with the food, location, the beach, etc. Housekeeping is dilligent ensuring rooms remain spotless throughout the stay.

We had a wonderfull time here. The rooms were nice. Also the hotel is on the beach, meaning you can go to your room whenever you need to.

Its very convenient hotel, placed exactly on the beach. Food is good and planty. The only thing is that hotel needs renovation.

Excellent location, right on the beach, clean and quite large pool, quick access to the sandy beach, free sunbeds and umbrellas both at the pool and on the beach

It was lovely! The pool and surroundings are fun, the sea is crystal clear and warm, good place to stay if you want to get connected with nature and still remain in a modern place :)

The animation is really amazing, like outstanding and kudos to the only animator there, that young and cheerful girl named Tillya, really a humble and a hardworking one! I'm impressed beyond explanation!

The beach in Albena is a beautiful place. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available each room at the hotel. Sorry the sun is not 'saditsja in the sea

Good kitchen and swimming pools. Good location first line sea side. But the look of the hotel from outside is not very luxory. Not as luxury as Silver Beach resort in Byala for example.

Great hotel for family rest with children! Tasty and varied food, adapted for us. Near the sea with free 2 sun loungers and 1 parasol, swimming pool with snack bar, friendly staff

I understand that on the summer period they have a bus that takes you to the private hotel beach which has a bar on site also. the indoor pool is very small

The all-inclusive is great - food is on the level of Turkish all-inclusive. The rooms are very spacious, cleaned daily, and renovated. The beach is huge and the hotel is right next to it.

Excellent location close to Albena entrance. The only downside is that it is a little far from the beach, approx 800 meters

4 star hotel in Albena, very kind personnel, very well administration. Good food and grill in restaurant, but very hot, AC never working. Small pool, but the sea is 30m distance. I recommend for families.

I stayed in this hotel June 2024. The location is ok for a beach,otherwise there is nothing around. Food a bit boring,not big choice. The hotel is old and needs complete refurbisment n updating from outside n insids too

Food choices were poor, but it's September, and the holiday season is ending. One middle-aged lady at the pool bar was rude and miserable every time we asked her a question

We had the best experience with my wife and two kids! Amazing staff, clean room, great food and the beach was literally under our room terrace! We are coming back here for sure!!! Thank you all for the great time!

Free sunbeds and shade in the green rows. Apartment with large 1+1 terraces. Large safe, but not sure if working. Rooms and bathrooms could use a little bit of detailing is cleanliness

I went at the end of June 2022, a family with 2 children. The location is excellent, right on the beach. The natural reservation next to the hotel ensures an excellent coolness in the rooms

Room cleaning was only done one time under a 5 day period and only by complaint. One guy at the front desk was helpful and could sufficient English. Both the pool side and spott by the ocean was very satisfying to us

Good service, but you gave one set of towels and bed sheets and they won't change them even if you ask for.

If only the staff wasn't so rude and nonchalant i would give them 4 star's

Big hotel with not so big restaurant for so many people. Everytime are people in a row for food and drink. The food is could, not tasty, without spice. The staff is very friendly, pools at the hotel are very good

The TV set has very poor signal. Air condition is out of order in some rooms. Next time I will find a better place in Albena

The food and service are OK, but the rooms and tableware are dirty. They should pay more attention to the cleanliness

The hotel is nice, staff is kind, they have swimming pool for adults and children. They have activities for adults in the afternoon and in some evenings for children so there is no chance can not get bored

Great food except dessert selection. The rooms are old but clean, air conditioner is always leaking, the beds are comfortable, sturdy and clean. The shower is mediocre at best. Swimming pool is clean and decent size

The beach is clean and wide, 2 minutes away by foot. Food was great, as you expect from a 4 star hotel. Maybe not so many variants, but you can not get hungry or unsatisfied, especially if you buy an all-inclusive ticket

Main strengths are close proximity to the sea, cleanliness and restaurant (minus the desserts and coffee)

Albena is one of the rare Bulgarian Black sea resorts for families with kids - nice, clean, lots of animation for everyone (kids to grownups), food and drinks are various and taste good

Room was a large family room lots of storage space lovely and clean tv air conditioning and a fridge. Hotel is on the beach with parasol and two beds included in with the room

Hotel needs some updating, but clean overall and location is wonderful. We had hoped a room with seaview, but we were located on the other side

Next morning we had a chat with manager and we got a seaview! Exellent service! Breakfast on the other hotel is no problem, 20m

It was a very nice and cozy stay, just watch out as the other hotels play "loud" music till about 23 or 11pm. Where everyone is supposed to stay quiet. Watch out if you order with breakfast, as it can be a little sloppy.

Old and not well maintained but it has a kind of charm I guess, the price. I would go next time with a hotel that has the all inclusive option, as Albena lacks dicen restaurants, where to spend your money and time.
