Other then the fact that we had to change our room and it wasn’t really the cleanest we had so much fun.The pool is great food amazing.Also it ain’t far from the beach about 6 minutes walking.

The General Hotel Manager is wonderfully helpful and extremely friendly ! I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends! The rest…well Albena is beautiful city with so much to see and do and this hotel just compliments and completes a wonderful experience!

My 6th time at this hotel it's rasy, friendly and clean. You get what you pay for. Expecting a 5 star hotel then find somewhere where you pay 5 star prices.

It's not a 4 star hotel persay, but still a very good experience, and it's literally right next to the beach!

A nice hotel, looks as a 5 stars but it may be improved. Outdoor pools could be heated because in 30 May and 6 September when we were nobody could swim there. Lucky that they have an indoor pool (small one)

Great place, good entertainment and fantastic bar staff and during the day a relaxed pool area with a well stocked bar; day time food is high quality and the staff all are masked up in the kitchen.

We spend a week with family in Paradise Blue. Hotel offers a food that is very good quality. - this is very difficult to find on Black Sea coast. Management and staff were very helpful and ready to satisfy our whims

The best hotel in Albena resort. Spacious rooms with amazing sea view and steps away from the sand. All amenities included, the flat iron and coffee machine in the room is highly appreciated by my side

Positive points: The hotel is located 2 minutes' walk from the beach, the view towards the sea and the hill is beautiful, the area is quiet, the rooms are relatively clean, the foam mattresses and pillows are very comfortable; spacious lobby, clean pool, enough sunbeds at the pool and on the beach

Albena is nice for families with children, the sea water is clean, the landscape is wonderful

Great place, service provided by the stuff and location is right there on the beach ⛱️ 👌 👍. It's very tough to book the place, so I guess it needs to be done in advance as soon as you know that you'll be going.

I've seen couples or small families stuffing a complete table with tons of food which, that physically is impossible to eat otherwise their belly would literally expolde so plenty of food ends up as waste

The hotel is quite nice, very close to the beach. Rooms are clean, air-conditioned. Big problem is the all inclusive system and most of the guests

4 star hotel in Albena, very kind personnel, very well administration. Good food and grill in restaurant, but very hot, AC never working. Small pool, but the sea is 30m distance. I recommend for families.

I stayed in this hotel June 2024. The location is ok for a beach,otherwise there is nothing around. Food a bit boring,not big choice. The hotel is old and needs complete refurbisment n updating from outside n insids too

Free sunbeds and shade in the green rows. Apartment with large 1+1 terraces. Large safe, but not sure if working. Rooms and bathrooms could use a little bit of detailing is cleanliness

Food choices were poor, but it's September, and the holiday season is ending. One middle-aged lady at the pool bar was rude and miserable every time we asked her a question

The biggest problem was dirty rooms AND ACTUALLY NO CLEANER FOR WHOLE WEEK. I had a big fight with the reception and they said they dont have cleaners to clean rooms

It's very kid-friendly, with large pools, an aqua park, and playgrounds for the little ones. The beach bar was a nice touch too

In Albena you can (and should) comfortable to walk, but if laziness that runs Ala tourist train on wheels )

A great place for the family. As a 65+ solo traveller I have felt safe ,both around the location and the beach. September is very quiet here especially for a chill out holiday.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was a highlight, featuring delicious traditional Bulgarian dishes along with international options

The deluxe rooms have everything you need. Two toilets 🚻, balcony, air conditioning. AC is very gentle and well placed. They are for small kids and for adults. Ten minutes walk to the beach ⛱️

There are many attractions along the way. Be sure to use your legs 🦵, not free bus shuttle. There is one small shop in the hotel and two supermarkets nearby

The water from the pool for small children was freezing at any time of day(the other two were good). The cleaning staff from outside was rude. The water smells from the shower. Good: The hotel is beach front

Haa beach at 100m. Pretty isolated from other water parks thou. Also crowded during season. Raitsa water park is a better choice if you dont mind the distance from the beach.

We are hear right at the start of the season and the rest of albena is very quite. The food is good and more varied then most having had, chicken; duck, beef, lamb,pork, mussels, king prawns, tuna stakes and shark

Even a 15 minute taxi to the nearest town is £30 return and the so called supermarkets on the resort are sometimes twice uk prices (and 4 times normal Bulgaria prices). Finally the hotel is clean and well kept

Be aware Albena is very much a resort on it's own (there must be over a dozen hotels etc) but everything here in the resort is geared to getting your pennies and the prices are really high for Bulgaria

They initially wanted 42 leves a night but with a little pushing the price halved. They are bigger and have excellent sea view and balconies. we can clearly see the sea from our bed

The hotel is nice, staff is kind, they have swimming pool for adults and children. They have activities for adults in the afternoon and in some evenings for children so there is no chance can not get bored

Great food except dessert selection. The rooms are old but clean, air conditioner is always leaking, the beds are comfortable, sturdy and clean. The shower is mediocre at best. Swimming pool is clean and decent size

The pool is average size and not to crowded, except for week-ends. But pieces of the ceramic is peeling away, children dived and colected the pieces as "sunken treasures" :)

Albena is one of the rare Bulgarian Black sea resorts for families with kids - nice, clean, lots of animation for everyone (kids to grownups), food and drinks are various and taste good

It has nice big rooms,a nice yard, and the host is very helpful. Download google translate and bulgarian language, you will need it 😋. The only inconvenient is the distance to the beach. It's about 15 minutes walking.

Unexpected large room, with nice and peaceful views of big green trees and the waves sound in background. Very welcome hosts.

An excellent hotel which I always enjoy therefore I come again and again. The rooms are big and very pleasantly styled. One the of best feature of the room is the balcony where you can sit and enjoy the sea

Didn't stay at the hotel because everytime when I was in Balchik was a day trip, but I take in consideration to stay few days here in the future as the view offered by the hotel is awesome (it is in the front of the Black sea) and, also, it has a nice spa

The hotel is very good, clean and comfortable! The breakfast is included in price and is very good. We have for welcome bottle of wine. Everyday we have water and coffee free of charge in room. The spa is very good.

The personnel was extremely friendly, especially the cook who spoiled us and the chief-of-staff lady! We enjoyed very much the backyard which is in fact a park and the relaxing and peaceful view, with birdsong as the only 'noise'! Also, the furniture has a distinctive, classic design

Nice looking hotel BUT, very bad hygiene in the rooms and in the restroom of the restaurant. There is black mold and ants in the fridge in the room. Soul in the bathroom does not work. The staff is very nice and friendly

I laughed myself to tears seeing my dad jumping in the pool and my mom grabbing to my watermelon floatie for life :)) It was a much needed break and I loved the little beach from Balchik for sunset, but during the day we’ve spent most of the time at the pool

So each morning we’ve had a lazy breakfast, then fun at the pool, after lunch we would go to the Botanical Garden which was just across the street and then went on a nice walk on the beach till that wooden deck from my previous post

Lovely hotel with nice pool and kids zone. If you are looking for really quiet place in June that’s your choice. Season there starts quite late and is real quiet but for us was exactly what we wanted.

Within minutes of entering our suite had a list of issues. Safe not working, missing cutlery in kitchen, no slippers, no kettle, very little toilet paper. Reception could not sort any of this until after 9am next day

Our room was super clean and nice, extremely close to the pool, so we would just open the window and get right on the sun lounges

It is super large and with a kids dedicated area, good music and a pool bar. Everything you might need for a nice vacation

At 8 AM the beach is 40% "occupied" by people who leave the towels on the sunbeds. At 9 AM its impossible to find a spot at the outside pool. Staff either shrug or evict a spot only if you complain

Although the hotel's policy is "no reservation for sunbeds", if you want one, you must wake up early in the morning and put your towels on. - ⁠same issue for the pool sunbeds, it is impossible to find one after 8am

Only 4 days in, the room service told me i can take the stairs to the restaurant instead of taking the elevator twice. But the bigger problem is with the pool/beach sunbed "reservations"

I saw people come to their sunbeds after 4 hours. I've seen panicked people about their abandoned towel when the staff moved the sunbeds because they couldn't get the card. It enforces the same toxic behavior

- ⁠so i couldn't rest properly because each morning I had to get up early in order to "reserve" sunbeds for the entire family. I wouldn't mind staying anywhere as long as it would be enough sunbeds for everybody

They're more concerned with one room 2 sunbeds 1 umbrella but only in the morning. Though i must mention the hotel has a very weird concept. Which nobody really understands what their concept is

The beds were very comfortable and clean, the cleaner did a good job and the view from the room was great as we were at the top floor. The minibar had 2 beers, 1 fanta, 1 pepsi and 1 bottle of water

The hotel is big and outdated, the swimming pool is big and nice but we didn’t use it as it was still cold. The indoor pool was nice and clean

Another uncomfortable thing is that there is no bar/restaurant on the beach and if you want to get some drinks/snacks, you have to go back to the hotel (if you are not too lazy you can make 2 min walk to the hotel)

Another issue in the whole Golden sands complex is the garbage all around - in the streets, green areas and the beach. Overall we had a great experience in hotel Arabella. It is a great place for family vacation

The front desk lady said all the restaurants are fully booked, and we asked her how can that be that we got no information at check in about it… and then she said, ok, I can offer the Bulgarian restaurant, we are not big fans so we said no thanks, we want to reserve the Italian and the Asian restaurant

Fortunately, there is also a large indoor pool available. There are two outdoor water slides that are okay and one U-shaped slide, which is an interesting attraction

The extended time for breakfast (to 11 instead of 10) let's you have a non stressful morning and the pool area for the level was also great, always sunbeds available and some peace and quiet

I recommend using the Al Dente restaurant and placing an order to your room (once per stay). Unfortunately, the hotel has a shortage of pools, which are therefore overcrowded most of the time

They have artistic programs every day, clean pools, quality sunbeds and in 2 minutes you reach the beach. We felt wonderful, we will definitely come back

There is lots of it but you can barely find something which tastes good. Drinks are the usual Bulgarian all-inclusive standard which means poor quality. The swimming pools are nice but not enough sunbeds

With both separate shower and bathtub. I also really enjoyed the cold water dispenser in the floor 8 hallway. Will come again and would love to stay longer as well

This is a great hotel for families with kids. It is located next to Aquapark hotel and the guests can use both facilities for free. Each hotel has pools and water slides. The all inclusive at deluxe is great

We would not return due to how crowded everything was - difficult to walk through Pool lounges, dinning areas, reception etc. Felt like sardines crammed into a small space most of the time

The stay here was very pleasant. Pluses: - The stuff was very responsive and served us quick. They made sure that everything was clean. - During every meal serving, the stuff made sure to clean the finished plates

- the stuff from reception helped us with every question we had. - most of the stuff knew English very well. - in the menu, there was healthy food choices

Great hotel overall, wouldn’t recommend to people with walking disabilities. The hotel is on the hill, walking to the beach could be hard. The staff was amazing, especially barmen Stanislav, he made sure we had fun

He eventually helped us and made the necessary calls, out but it took quite a lot of haggling and that was not a great experience as I was already feeling ill. All in all, the hotel wasn't bad, but it has room to improve

I was in this place for a couple of days and I had great experience. I had a lot of fun with the amazing animation team, which I admire truly. The girls were amazing!! We would love to see them again

But the most fun in my experience here were the animators, who are very dedicated to their work, they will never leave you busy, you will always have something to learn from them

My daughter loved them and couldn’t wait to take a part in every entertainment, so starting with morning gymnastics and finishing on great Mini Disco

Especially animation team! Girls are literally an angels- so patient, easygoing with children and with their harts on their hands

Many places to go, every meal time there's a lot to choose from, the staff is very kind and always try to help.

Nice hotel, very tasty food, friendly staff. Room cleaned every day, breakfasts, Lunches and dinners last for 3-3. 5 hours, no need to rush, everything at the hotel is well organized and thought out

The hotel met our requirements, every drink in the bar was included in our ultra all inclusive price (even imported drinks), the staff was friendly (most of the time), rooms were cleaned every day etc

The foods' quality didn't meet our standards. This must be because of our family's eating habits as others had good opinions about the food. I would recommend Hotel Atlas for everyone

They aren't stingy with the alcool. So if the barkeepers were a little bit friendly and meal were better, were the this a TOP hotel, but in the circumstance only 3-3,5 stars

One drawback is not the hotel and Golden Sands - there are very noisy until 4 am music)) and the beaches are overloaded with people (from 2 to 13 August 2017)

Limited choice of 5 cocktails, nothing fancy but good enough. AMENITIES: 3 swimming pools (2 outside, 1 inside), can usually find a spot to sit despite the usual towel on the sunbed tricks

you can use both swimming pool and also they have indoor pool. Our room had jungle view which was awesome. it was clean and they daily room service

LOCAL AREA: A nice place to take a family, plenty to do and see and the beach was beautiful, although you do have to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas on all the beach's

Double tree is a good hotel with nice and respectful staff which they help and guide you if you have any question. They have their own beach wich free shuttle is available

Didn't use any of the spa, as most was extra cost. Did use the gym, and with a bit of imagination it was absolutely fine. ROOM: Was great, it was spacious and the bed was very comfortable

Our room was two singles pushed together which did roll apart unfortunately. There was a problem with the toilet making a loud noise, but this was reported and fixed within 4 hours
