The original hotel associated with Amelia Earhart - first female pilot who crossed the Atlantic ocean alone. The interior of the hotel captures the various pieces of her life.
Built: 1971
Restored: 2013
Location: in the centre of the resort of Albena, 45 km from the airport of Varna city.
Consists of two 6-storey buildings.
The hotel has 161 rooms.
Beach: own sandy beach, 100 m from the hotel (1 coastline). Umbrellas, sun beds: free of charge. Internet Wi-Fi: free of charge.

Pets: on request, for a fee.

This is definitely not a 5 star ultra all inclusive experience, especially considering the quality of the food and drinks! The animation program is also mediocre. Hygiene and cleanliness especially in the restaurant are catastrophic. Service is non existent. Guests are asked to pay extra to use the rooftop pool. There is only 1 indoor bar and you have to wait for ages to get anything. The outdoor bar is to be avoided as everything served is of poor quality. On the positive- great beach!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Amelia! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The location is simply perfect — close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. The staff were exceptional in every way: professional, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The restaurant food was delicious, with a great variety and top-quality ingredients. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding — everything felt fresh and spotless. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Our recent stay at Amelia Hotel was truly exceptional. From the very moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Every question we had was answered with care and attention, and their kindness made us feel instantly at home. Some of the bartenders were slightly unfriendly and rude… There was quite a long wait at the bar, which was the only negative aspect of the hotel.
The rooms were immaculate, well-organized, and offered a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and served with a smile. What impressed us most was the positive energy and friendliness of the entire team – every interaction left us feeling valued and appreciated.
Amelia Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are deeply grateful for the wonderful experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We recently stayed at Amelia Hotel in Albena, and it was such a great experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome — everyone was so friendly and helpful, which really set the tone for the whole stay.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and you could tell they really pay attention to the little details. It made it really easy to relax and enjoy the stay.
The food was great — fresh, tasty, and with a good variety every day. We especially enjoyed the dinners and main meals; there was always something new to try.
Its close proximity to the beach, the outdoor pools, the slides, and of course, the entertainers at the mini disco, makes it a great place for families with young kids.
We are already talking about coming back — definitely recommending Amelia to all my friends!

Excellent stay!
Hotel is recently opened in June, everything is new and modern.
Large room with a large bathroom and balcony, very good cleaning and comfortable bed. Room has everything you need, including good quality cosmetics from Fragonard.
Very good food, restaurant is not at all crowded, you can definetly see the difference between this 5 star hotel and the rest of Albena’s 4 and 3 stars hotels.
A large variety of plates which are available throughout all the dining program (duck, rabbit, fish, mussels, crabs etc).
Pools are common to Maritim Hotel, plenty of room for the customers, very clean and pleasant.
Staff is exceptionally polite and ready to help and especially jn the restaurant they are doing a perfect job.
I appreciated the lack of crowded areas, the modern architecture and impeccable behaviour of staff and services offered.
Clearly an obvious difference as to all other hotels in Albena, I definetly recommend!

Very helpful, nice and cool staff. Perfect service. The food wasn't bad, nothing exciting. For the guests with children the terraces at the bottom of the corridors can be very nice place to relax after setting the children to sleep. If we come back to Albena we would use this hotel again.

Third time to Hotel Amelia which hasn't changed since first time
Very basic rooms which are okay for the price.
Nice looking bar just a shame it now never seems to be open or anyone serving drinks, when we first visited they were serving cocktails, coffee and great choice of drinks whilst sat on the amazing terrace - real shame this doesn't now seem to happen.
Food okay and good choice.
Location is superb.

A nice hotel, friendly staff, great food. Very close to the beach but no swimming pool. No draught beer in the hotel and no English newspapers.
