Spent 2 weeks here in September with my family. It was almost end of season so very quiet and not much to do except explore. This was to our liking tho as we wanted a very relaxing holiday. Food was very good and snacks anytime during the day, restaurant staff could have been more friendly and at least acknowledge you. The hotel is very close to the beach and kids love that (and adults too). The rooms are big and very nice, but the a/c is too weak and it wasn't able to cool the room properly. The room cleaning lady did a nice job and the room was always cleaned. The food was great but the coffe was not very good. The only good coffee was the one served from the inside bar near the reception.

1. Location is on the beach and placed on the good fine sand. Suitable for children and the bay is often calm with no high waves. Shallow waters for 20-30 meters so you can go even if you can't swim. 2. Double standard room is quite small with 3x5 meters with enough place for two adults, but that's all about. I stayed in this hotel June 2024.The location is ok for a beach,otherwise there is nothing around.Food a bit boring,not big choice.The hotel is old and needs complete refurbisment n updating from outside n insids too. Quiet and peaceful place for those who just want to relax and enjoy the rest. Friendly staff. "All inclusive". The beach is close. The food in the restaurant is unique. On the terraces you can sit quietly and enjoy a cigarette or cadence :) Not giving five stars because this place is not obnovovani years.

Even though it was very quiet all the staff went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after,been 4 times before & the only 'complaint' was no bacon at breakfast & the food not quite up to previous years but overall very good.

Perfect location, close to the large sandy beach. Good food, the drinks are local - included to all inclusive programm. The import ones are paid. The waiters was russian speaking, but they understood english or bulgarian as well. The only problem in whole Albena compex is the car parking. I never succeed to find a free parking space less thar 300 m from the hotel.

The all-inclusive is great - food is on the level of Turkish all-inclusive. The rooms are very spacious, cleaned daily, and renovated. The beach is huge and the hotel is right next to it.

Great hotel for families with children all inclusive. Large sandy beach near the hotel, 1 waterfront. On the beach there is always a place - umbrella and 2 sun beds are free. For a 3 star hotel the services were great. They offer all inclusive, and you get 3 free meals a day, pool access, beach lounger access, free bar and snacks, kids programs . The food was good and fruits fresh. The only downside is that you had to force them to clean the rooms, and you have to pay for loungers mattress.

Very interesting hotel. I really loved their food. As it is said; the hotel is on the beach. Anytime you need something from your room just go about 50 meters, take the elevator and you arrived. Also it is all-inclusive so we got food and beverages for free.

Very good value for the money we payed! We had a lovely time. Stayed here for 10 days, 2 adults, 2 kids. Good food (and varied), clean enough, lovely beach with enough sunbeds. They also have a swimming pool. The staff at reception is friendly and helpful (they also speak English, German and Russian, which helps...) Parking in Albena is tricky, but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

Everything is great here for a 3 star hotel, it’s all inclusive, the food it’s really delicious, there’s a great variety even for vegetarians. The room are nice, there is a conditioner, a balcony, tv, chairs, etc., they provide with towels, people from service desk are very nice and they are always there to help if you have any problems like i had with the room key (card) and they can answer your questions...

Generally the place was good but the food and some of the staff were horrible. About the food I think the chicken meat was perished and everything was not good cooked. The receptionist lacked communication as well as the bartender. The only welcoming were the animators and the safeguard.

Albena is one of the rare Bulgarian Black sea resorts for families with kids - nice, clean, lots of animation for everyone (kids to grownups), food and drinks are various and taste good. It was a real vacation full of rest and fun for the whole family.

Hotel needs some updating, but clean overall and location is wonderful. We had hoped a room with seaview, but we were located on the other side. Next morning we had a chat with manager and we got a seaview! Exellent service! Breakfast on the other hotel is no problem, 20m.
