Kaliakra Beach Hotel - Ultra All Inclusive

Cant fault hotel, staff and food but came in October and everywhere is shut no entertainment no buses just taxis £30 one way into Varna and again not a lot to do. Beach is nice and clean I wouldn't come again this time of year

This was end of season holiday for us and we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and high standard the hotel was and the service was fantastic. The rooms overlook the beach right on the beach no walking distance and the food and drink was gorgeous so much to choose from And the cocktails were made especially for us at the bar and the spirits are incredibly strong. Never had spirits so strong. Could only manage a couple on an evening so great value for money. It’s in a really pretty area surrounded by trees and it was very quiet when we went in October but we would definitely be back fantastic beach front location highly recommended and a good standard to with stunning views and a short distance from the airport. We hired a car which was easy parking was right outside the front of the hotel for free the whole Hotel experience was a pleasure And fantastic value for money if you’re looking for a last-minute holiday, we got way more than what we expected. Only downside was the swimming pools were too cold to swimming and the sea too, but we still sunbed on the beach which was fantastic.

Great service & facilities, very quiet due to out of season but we knew that nice staff & good varied amount of food . If you want more to do other than relax go earlier in the year………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Interesting place. The hotel is well located right on the beach and we upgraded to an executive sea view room from a standard sea view room for 21 leves (a little over £9) a night. They initially wanted 42 leves a night but with a little pushing the price halved. They are bigger and have excellent sea view and balconies.we can clearly see the sea from our bed. We are hear right at the start of the season and the rest of albena is very quite. The food is good and more varied then most having had, chicken; duck, beef, lamb,pork, mussels, king prawns, tuna stakes and shark. As well as all the usual things. A good 7 out of 10 food wise but an 8 out of 10 for all inclusive. They have 4 bars and they serve decent brands and cocktails but they are all pretty small and I have absolutely no idea how they would cope when full in the high season.
Some staff are friendly enough and most have a basic bit of english. But it's not an "english" hotel. Seem far more for germans and Romanians (less then an hour to the boarder). Be aware Albena is very much a resort on it's own (there must be over a dozen hotels etc) but everything here in the resort is geared to getting your pennies and the prices are really high for Bulgaria. Even a 15 minute taxi to the nearest town is £30 return and the so called supermarkets on the resort are sometimes twice uk prices (and 4 times normal Bulgaria prices).
Finally the hotel is clean and well kept.

Kaliakra Beach Hotel was an excellent choice for our family vacation. We spent 8 days here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was varied and delicious, offering options for all tastes, and the drinks were always available, fresh, and of good quality. However, what truly made our stay special was the animation team. They were fantastic! Every day, they organized games and activities that captivated both children and adults. They provided us with moments of fun and relaxation, and our kids were always excited to participate. We will definitely return!

This holiday was awesome. I enjoyed it, clean beaches and nice pools. In the balcon the view is amazing. The food is good and the place for games is really fun. I stayed in the hallways to watch the beautiful girl at the reception who works mid-night time only. Never saw a more beautiful girl in my whole life.

READ THE END FOR OUR BIGGEST COMPLAINT. So me and my partner had our first couples holiday to Bulgaria. It was a last minute trip and we flew from Luton, so for the price we paid (£650 includes transfer, all inclusive, luggage and flights) we can’t really complain! Originally we were meant to stay in Kaliakra Mare but got told it was closing early for the season. We got an upgrade after seeing the outside of the original hotel! The rooms were decent sized, walk in shower, double bed, single bed and a sofa bed, dressing table, wardrobes, safe, fridge (with free drinks) and a balcony. Only annoying thing is the plugs aren’t by the bed! I’m not sure what the other reviews are on about with the staff, we found them lovely. On arrival we were greeted with two plates off food as we arrived early hours of the morning. Which was really nice. Plenty of English was spoken, but for all that were complaining about the lack of English, gentle reminder we are in THEIR country so we shouldn’t expect them to speak it! The food was your standard all inclusive, but they mixed the dishes up on different nights. There’s a snack bar by the pool which was okay, same stuff everyday and a lot of food got left out and went dry or flies got to it. There was a beach bar, pool bar, inside bar and a bar in the restaurant. We did wish that the machines with cokes etc were accessible ourselves rather than having to wait for staff each time for a quick drink. The only complaint we have is there was one night they closed up early due to a different family causing havoc. I didn’t think it was very fair when we were there to enjoy ourselves. They should’ve stopped serving the other people not close it for everyone else. There are 2 main pools and 1 splash pool for children. It was a bit nippy but warmed up once you were in! One pool was closed I can imagine due to the time of year, however it was insanely quiet so bonus for not having to fight over pool chairs! The chairs were plastic so they weren’t very comfy to sit on however. This is no fault of the hotels but if you hate wasps don’t go here as we’ve never seen anything like it! Couldn’t relax as they just kept pestering everyone for their food or drinks! Entertainment wise we were a bit gutted by. There is a games room but you have to pay for arcade machines and the pool table, but the ping pong table was free. There seemed to be a bit on for kids but the adult entertainment was shocking. We were hoping for karaoke or music but there wasn’t any. We saw they had bingo on one night and there were like 4 elderly people there so we left. The biggest complaint we have wasn’t about the hotel but it is really relevant if you’re wanting to do more than stay in the hotel. The area was a complete and utter ghost town! There was one bar on the beach that had a selection of food, we went there once but it wasn’t cheap and we didn’t eat there as wasn’t much choice on the menu. Spent 2 weeks here in September with my family. It was almost end of season so very quiet and not much to do except explore. This was to our liking tho as we wanted a very relaxing holiday. Food was very good and snacks anytime during the day, restaurant staff could have been more friendly and at least acknowledge you. However the room cleaners where smiley and room was cleaned everyday. The bar staff especially Kleo and Pino pretty much made our stay fantastic, so warm and friendly. By the end of our first week we seen them more as friends than staff, we had such a great laugh with them and they are both and absolute credit to the hotel 🙏🏼 There is a local shop just outside the front doors to the hotel, the gentleman in the shop was so friendly and kind, he went out his way to buy stuff that we liked and stocked his shop with it. Please visit this shop if you go on holiday, he will look after you from snacks to getting you a reduced price on a taxi.
