Lovely clean hotel with very pleasant helpful staff. I slept well as it was so quiet. Very close to Metro, train and bus stations. I would certainly use again.

It has everything but at an "OK" level. Basic I would say overall but a bit pricey for what you get in return. I guess it's the price you have to pay if you want to be close to the rail station!

I stayed for three nights and found it a unique experience. Not for the person wanting the JW Marriott experience, but if you're exploring Sofia and want to feel like you're part of the culture, it's great. Sibylla, the proprietor, was patient and friendly. This is a really fabulous and quirky place to stay. We were fortunate enough to have the whole apartment to ourselves. The "staff" downstairs are a bit hit and miss, but I don't think they actually work for the guest house. The lady we met who seemed to be in charge of guest house was very friendly. Free use of washing machine also!

Is a good hostel with a good staff! The hostel is open 24/7. They have washing machine, fridge, showers, etc And is a quiet place and very safe! I let my bicycle in a yard two day.s, nobody touch! I recomanded this place!

Very cosy, clean and with good vibes. The hostel is very small, it's so easy to feel at home. Thanks also to the staff and the volunteers, very friendly and helpfull. It's about 30 minutes walking from the centre but the metro is one minute from the hostel. I will definitely stay there again.

Good hostel with really friendly staff just outside town. It's a short walk from a metro station so it's easy to get to the centre and the train station.

Super practical staff, speaking english very well, nice location near metro station, great equipment for the price.

You have the choice between dorms and rooms really huge, clean and comfy (27euros/night). Not in the city centre but the hostel is 5 min away from the metro (then, 5 stations to serdika) or by taxi it costs 5 lev. Definitely to recommend.

Located in a quiet residential area. Everything clean. Walking distance to supermarket and metro. By walk it's 40~50 mins walk from the central (attractions sites). Right next to a park full of trees to chill out.

Stayed in the 16-bed dorm. Was not as bad as expected, pretty hot and not amazing ventilation though. There’s a small locker included and the room is locked by a code so items feel pretty safe. Friendly staff and great communal area. Good value for money

Largely positive experience in a private room in a well situated location. The staff were very good at communicating and accomodating regarding check in and storage of bags, the room itself is clean and has a fan with comfortable bed and clean sheets. The negatives I found were there’s only one bed with a power socket next to it in the private room (room 14), there’s only one bowl in the communal kitchen...

Very nice hostel with a lot of young people (between 20-30). Staff is really friendly and helps you with anything you need, this includes a warm welcome with a street map of Sofia which they highlight with all the best tourist attractions. Very affordable. Strong mouldy smell in staircase and in common bathrooms. No smell in rooms. Plenty of heat and hot water in shower. Noise from the street if your room is facing the street. Friendly staff but normally there is no staff on premises.

Peter Pan is not a real hostel but an apartment with rooms to rent. It is in a good position, it is very clean but it is lonely not lively as a hostel. The owner is very nice and helpful and gives good tips on where to go for meals and sightseeing.

Excellent apart-hostel in a great central location in Sofia. Located close to tram and bus links and even within walking distance of many central Sofia sights. We booked for 3 beds room just for a night. The room was clean, warm and quiet. The owner friendly and helpful. The spot is very central which means that you can see many things by walking. I don't give 5 stars because the wc wasn't so clean. Also when i made the reservation the prescription of the hostel was saying that they provide free transfer from/to airport. A very pleasant hostal in an excellent location. It has no on site staff but the owners are very helpful and quick to respond if you have any queries. The front door is on the main street next to a coffee kiosk.

Good location if you are coming with your car. Nice rooms. Also good connection to the city center with a public transport.

Totally worth the money. 54 lev . The stuff very friendly. And it was clean no bugs no dirty bedsheets . And free soap for bath . Very satisfied

It was worth for the Money you pay. Do not expect good conditions but since it was a cheap hostel, I didn’t have big expectations. So it was okay. Room was not enough clean, bed mattress was dirty, you can’t open windows as they won’t stop flies to enter room, no air con. But it was a place, easy to find, low prices, people were helpful.

Good price for the rooms that they gave me. I got a clean room with a fine bathroom. Near a large supermarket and bus stations! staff is helpful and kind!

The staff of the hostel is very helpful and friendly, they offered me multiple solutions to go to the city center - the best one is to take bus 260 directly to the city center (20-30 minures). You have a big free parking in front of the hotel and a big supermarket with fair prices within 5 minutes walk. Rooms don't have aircons and in summer is very hot, but you have a fridge. My room was pretty ruined...

Ideal for students - cheap affordable spacious. Its huge on-site Parking, wifi normal, polite staff. Of the minuses dirty in the room, stains on Caroline old plumbing leaking.

The Hostel is okay, the employees are friendly. It gives a simple breakfast, included the price. Only one point is against the Hostel: unrespectful guests. If each guest is silent between 23:00 to 08:00, then the Hostel is for the price 6 Stars.

Bathrooms are shabby. Its not the type of hostel i had in mind. I have stayed in different hostels in Warsaw,Budapest,Vienna,Bucharest. This was not my experience. It's a place just to sleep for the night.

Lovely place with a great american cook :D Worth the money you pay. The breakfast is diverse and tasty. There are mixed showers per floor. You have a locker in the lobby for only 1€ which you get back.

Nice people. For the price a decent breakfast. A bit strange that the showers are basically also the bathrooms with toilet and sink. One morning I hade no warm water, that was rather disappointing, though I never investigated why since it was my last night there.

Art hostel has a nice vibe. The bar and garden are two nice additions to the location. The toilet (particularly the one upstairs) were very dirty. Personel was generally friendly, but some did have a couple of very weird or unfriendly quirks.

A place where where you can find new friends or spent unforgettable time with yours. It's always fun for me to be there.

Hostelworld some how cancelled our booking, but I didn't receive any notification. When six of us arrived there, they really made a big effort to host even do we didn't have a reservation. It was great move and deserves much more than 5 stars! Recommended +++++++++++++

Stayed in the hostel's bar for a lot of time. Never been a guest so this should be taken in regard. Still I worked in a rival hostel and people told me stories of how lazy the service is. Must admit, my hostel was horrid for a variety of other reasons so I worked there for only 2 weeks. I understand it's supposed to be hip but that doesn't mean to give your guests a bad time. Great location, simple and clean place. You van walk to the center or use the Metro. (Only 2 minutes walk from the hostel). The hostel is nearby the train/bus station. Nice tot book some trips or go further. The owner is a verry nice man who will help you where he can and have a lot of information. I Will realy recommend this place tot other travellers!!!

Ivo is the best host we ever had. You feel at home in Alegra Hostel. Breakfast is great with croque monsiers, eggs, bacon, cheese, fruits etc! It's very close to train station and close to tram, bus and metro. In a wink you're in the city centre!

Good hostel, close to the main train and bus station in Sofia. Don't expect hotel services but for a hostel, it's quite good. 4 rooms available, wireless internet, a clean and nice kitchen, 2 bathrooms (with no shower, that's the only minus....) Nice and helpful owner

Amazing stay in the heart of Sofia! We received a very warm welcome when we arrived and we were very happy with our room. We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom. A warm welcome combined with modern interior and a great location makes this a perfect choice for a short break in Sofia. We stayed in private room with private bathroom. There was a shared communal area for ourselves and two other rooms. This was a useful space with coffee, tea and snacks available which were included in the room rate. Wonderful little hotel / hostel a few minutes walk from the very centre of Sofia. Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are well sized and the communal areas are generously equipped and provisioned.
