A bit below 4*. Like any 4*hotel in Sophia, the breakfast is poor and the coffee is hardly drinkable. The casino downstairs is a bit out of my taste. Half of the people are nice, half of them are a bit cold, none of them exagerates. Some stuff in the bathroom is occasionally broken or malfunctioning. Great for the price they offer, especially with the breakfast they offer. The reception area has a lot of seating area so you don't have to sit close to strangers and make it awkward for everyone. They even call you a reliable taxi with card payment. The rooms are clean but they need to maintain the corners of metal objects more thoroughly to avoid rust.

The staff is not willing to take responsibility, so we will not recomend this hotel. While cleaning the room the threw away the lids of the contact lenses box. No big deal IF instead of asking "can you prove it was us" they would simply send someone to get a new box. Probably a one dollar expense... Negative attitude is no way to treat customers...

I didn't like the surface very much as it doesn't bounce the ball much. We are not professionals but it was not very good. It is saved through the online system, which is a big plus and most of the times it is calm, but the unpleasant thing is that when the ball comes out, it takes 1, 2 minutes to get it back since there are nets and it enters the other fields easily.

Location was really close to the Asics Arena and had multiple food places nearby. The rooms were quite basic but they were spacious if a bit unclean. Good value for money and there was a good choice at breakfast. All the staff were really helpful.

The stuff was nice, especially the young lady at the reception. Very helpful and always smiling! Breakfast very good! The room was clean, the mattress was comfortable, although the air conditioning did not work. I stayed two nights and overall I am very pleased! The reception was very nice and friendly. Didn't feel the room was sterilised. There was body hair in the bath top. It was tidy but the sense of clean just didn't get that feeling. Had to try the key card many times to open the door, very difficult. 5 minutes. Noise from the traffic in the morning but that is normal for Sofia. The layout of the hotel is nice and invite to comfort.

An old hotel with shady room and doesn’t really deserve four stars. The power in the room was cut several times in one night and the breakfast was not just so so.

The hotel has extremely friendly and helpful staff ready to assist you at any time of the day. The rooms are classic and accommodated with everything you might need for your stay. But the highlight of my stay was the hotel's restaurant. The menu has vegan and vegetarian options and if you are a meat lover, you should definitely give their beef a try.

Lovely hotel, very cozy and clean. Very good bed, air-condition, beautiful, quiet rooms, very clean bathrooms. Very good quality toiletries are provided, there is hairdryer too. Really good hotel, well priced and very comfortable mattresses and good room. However, you'll need to take transport to get to the center. But it is cheap by train and bus and takes barely 20 mins if timed properly

I am happy to share my great experience with the staff of the Zoo Hotel, and their exceptional service. The hotel is with great location and its pricing is very competitive for the comfort paid. One of the best hotels ive been to for the price. Easy check in and check out and great services across the whole hotel. Very clean and spacious rooms for 3 friends. Smart TV was also great to watch Netflix and YouTube. Also lovely view from the top floor of the city.

The location was very good, however, the bathroom was in desperate need of maintenance. The shower was open and the entire bathroom got wet, which was very inconvenient. There wasn't even a single roll of toilet paper when we arrived.

The smell of the bathroom drain is prevalent in the whole room, closing the door was not a solution, there is no air conditioning in the room, and it cannot be said that the ventilation is working. We could not open the windows because there were no mosquito nets. The beds are uncomfortable. The location is good.

The hotel has quite a good location, close to the city center on the pedestrian street. The rooms are quite old and mattresses are quite bad, but everything is clean. The weirdest thing that this hotel is enforce you to leave the keys on the reception. Basically they asked you to do it when you are passing by the reception desk. It's very annoying.

Great friendly service all the way from the communication prior to arrival to arranging the shuttle to and from the airport. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Amazing value as well. We'll definitely stay again when we return.
