Still fancy but quality of service and food has dropped since Sasa adaptors more of Happy's food
Currently InterContinental. Probably the best city hotel in Sofia.
Great hotel. You can walk everywhere to get around(important and interesting places). Polite staff. Wonderful Breakfast. Very comfortable bed(mattress, pillows). The first night it was hot under the duvet. Brought the thin. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. Thank you.
Refurbished comfortable and luxurious rooms, professional service, great location!
Amazing hotel in the heart of Sofia. It is next to the Sofia university, City garden, Royal Palace and National Theatre. Good customer service and cozy rooms. It is a little pricy but I would definately recommend it.
The business rooms are a bit pricey but comfortable

This hotel is quite spectacular and ideally located next to the metro. There is a pool, but you have to pay around £8 to use it. A coffee maker with 2 coffee capsules is available in your room, but you’ll need to buy any cream or sugar to go in it! The hotel is a short walk into the centre.
I recently stayed for 5 days at Anel Hotel and had a mixed experience. While the hotel has its perks, there were also several aspects that left me disappointed. Here’s a breakdown of my stay: Rooms: I booked an apartment, which was quite nice with a living room and a separate bedroom. The air conditioning worked well, and the room was equipped with a coffee machine and water boiler. However, despite...
Art gallery x hotel, with modern art exhibits everywhere, including in the rooms. Spacious, airy room, high-quality furniture, bed linen and fittings, amazing breakfast included in the price. The spa and the parking are extra, though.
A very unique hotel! I really enjoyed my stay here and would book again! There is beautiful abstract art covering most walls and all empty space is filled with sculptures. Never seen a hotel like it! Great service, lovely location, nice rooms, nice amenities too. Parking on site too (paid).
A nice hotel in a good location. Our room was a little tired (poor AC and bathroom showing its age). Staff are helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast with a good range of food available. Nice restaurant, although the food was average and more expensive than the equivalent outside, as expected.
I think someone else already covered this, but: if you’re from any part of Northern Europe, this is not a 5-star hotel. It’s at its best a 3-star. It looks good at first glance, but then you find out nothing works. Rooms are not soundproof at all. You can hear EVERYTHING. So hard to sleep. Coffee machine and water kettle did not work, tv was old, hairdryer was at least 20 years old. Only soap, no...

Good hotel part of the Marriott offering globally (I think the only one in Sofia); location is great - as you can see from the photos attached; near by are many key sites to visit and explore; only potential issue - if you are on the top floor room you may hear music/noise from the hotel bar on the roof
What a great hotel. Contemporary rooms. Beautiful spa area and in a perfect location. We should have asked for a higher floor but no.road.noise. breakfast was excellent. We visited the rooftop bar for a drink and views are very good.
Excellent hotel in the middle of the city. Very nice SPA, excellent breakfast on the top floor with a wonderful view on Sofia! We had a perfect room with a top view on Austrian and Italian embassy . Only (small) minus was that is was possible to smoke in the roof-top-bar during night and the music was very, very loud! Nevertheless for our next visit in Sofia we will come back!!!
This hotel boasts an excellent location, though be mindful that rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy. The deluxe rooms are spacious and come equipped with a bathtub, providing a luxurious touch to your stay. 🛁 The bed is comfortably large, perfect for a good night's sleep, and the advanced room lighting control adds a modern flair. 💡 Additional conveniences include a coffee machine and refrigerator...
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sense Hotel Sofia for the second time during a business trip. The hotel's location near the city center is truly convenient. Despite our tight schedule, I managed to experience the charm of this boutique hotel. The room was spacious with large windows, offering a lovely view. While the bed was a bit small, it was comfortable enough for our stay. The highlight...
What a fantastic experience this place is. From the bellman, Sergei, finding and rescuing us from the parking police (be aware there are currently only 2 spots to park on site) to the front desk remembering our names and helping us with reservations and taxis. The room is so big and comfy. The bathroom is very large - with an unfortunate floor to ceiling mirror beside the toilet. The balcony we...

The hotel has the largest hotel rooms I have ever seen but even though they are so big, they lack iron & ironing boards. For me this is quite strange for a business hotel and can make a big difference (especially if you compare with next door Hilton as the prices can be similar). They do have an ironing room but it’s extremely small, with no windows or air-con and it can get extremely hot in there...
Perfect welcome, but the checkout felt a bit cold. The room was very spacious, modern and had a beautiful view. The sky bar was excellent, and the restaurants offered very good cuisine.
We stayed 10 days at the Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia and the experience was exceptionally good. The staff was great at corresponding before we arrived with shuttle arrangements. The housekeeping was fantastic. We stayed on the 20th floor and we could see the mountains surrounding us. We really appreciate George and Micheal and Anthony for their helpful service at reception. Also we enjoyed a massage...
Wow! PERFECT hotel! The BEST in Sofia! We came to celebrate our anniversary and they upgraded us (for free) to the executive suite and offcorse that it was Amazing. The service is perfect. Very professional, helpful and patient staff. especially thank you Ekaterina and Anthony. The suite was huge, so spacious and beautifully decorated, very clean, beautiful view. The amenities are high quality. There...
Great sized rooms, although lacking some comforts such as an iron, a box of tissues and modern casting service from your phone to the TV. Breakfast was very nice with an amazing selection to cater for everyone. It was have been nice to have seen some complimentary water / fruit or sweets around the reception area, something you would expect to see from some of the bigger branded chain of hotels....
Grand Hotel Millennium is certainly one of the best hotels in the city and I cannot recommend it highly enough. My partner and I spent 5 nights at the hotel and we had a wonderful experience throughout the whole time. The hotel kindly offered an early check in, and had a beautiful spacious room waiting for us in the morning of our arrival. The room was located on the 22nd floor with a stunning view...

A room with a terrace and an incredible view. Convenient transport accessibility. The only detail is the unclear additional small charges after check-out..
We loved staying here for our first trip to Sofia. The staff are so welcoming right from arrival all the way through to check out. They really can’t do enough for you. The hotel itself is beautiful in a classic and dignified way. The location is perfect, right in the centre with everything in the city centre within walking distance. The view from our top floor balcony at sunrise was an added bonus...
I love this hotel. Charming, comfortable, impeccably clean, with great breakfast and kind and sweet employees.
A very well-located and comfortable hotel with a vaguely retro and kitschy style. BUT: the bar and room service stop at 11 PM! If you arrive late, not even a sandwich or soup is available, and the only drinks are from the minibar! The staff is grumpy and sulky (except for one night doorman and one housekeeper), making it impossible to get a smile from them. They act as if you are bothering them. Upon...
This hotel has a lot going for it. Large rooms, fantastic amenities, polite staff, and convenient location are just a few. The rooms are ornate and well appointed. The downstairs lobby is beautiful. Service by everyone on the grounds was quick and very professional. This was my first trip to Sofia and I will definitely stay here on my future visits.
Amazing hotel with great views, location and staff! Special thanks to Vasil Velkov for his professional approach and attention to detail! See you soon, V.

A good hotel, the lobby and halls are very beautiful, the interior is stunning, the park at the hotel is incredibly elegant, very beautiful, a very good place for high-level events, but the rooms in the hotel are quite old-fashioned and shabby, and the room service is also at a very low level. For example, the maid just threw a blanket on the bed, straightened it out and said that she had a lot of...
The arhitecture of the hotel is well known in whole Sofia. Guests are treated with respect and the Service at the lobby bar is perfect. Hope to see this beautiful Place again!
Rooms are nice but the bathrooms are quite standard, would have here expected a bit more. Service is super friendly and the breakfast is good.
You have to visit and just wonder to yourself how and why. The lobby is a spectacular rendition of insane interior design and the random placement of the property even more curious. To be totally fair their restaurants are worth a visit especially umami and the communist place on top.
This hotel was designed by a great Japanese architect. Luckily the new owners could not ruined the this beautiful building from the outside, but the horrors that they did with the interior is despicable. Once it was a great hotel! Present days it's an interior nightmare!
Huge and amazing Hotel. Service was great and you have gym and Pool access. The breakfast was fresh and always delicious. Only point, the rooms became old. So like water lecks and old doors.

Amazing 3 night stay. Radi was so helpful, friendly and provided great suggestions of where to eat and what’s unique to shop. Hotel is in a great location walking distance to city center, 5 min walk to the famous cathedral. Rooms a very spacious with tons of storage and very nice shower. Comfy bed and couch to relax. We had club access, which offers delicious breakfast and happy hour appetizers in...
Exceptional service, comfort and cleanliness with all the right amenities. I stayed at the Hyatt during August of 2024 as part of a delegation to a special convention. Despite being part of a large group, I received personalized attention from the excellent staff and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend!
One of the better hotel options in Sofia. The rooms are quite basic but the beds are comfortable and it's quiet. There was no mini bar, just a bare fridge which was odd, but they did have a coffee machine. Good restaurant, great buffet breakfast, amazing spa and very decent, well equipped gym. The aesthetic and vibe of the place overall is more business than pleasure but the amenities make it a worthwhile...
The hotel exceeded above and beyond my expectations. The staff was extremely polite. My room/suite was clean and spotless. I had a dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. The waitress was very nice. The food was prepared to perfection. Sophisticated high-end modern interior and design in the hotel. Five plus stars on my stay!!
This is one of my faforite properties anywhere within the Hyatt system. The staff are outstanding. The club level rooms are perfect for my needs and I actually prefer them over the suites. The lounge is spacious and comfortable with a solid happy hour. There is an excellent spa with both sauna and steam rooms as well as a pool area that has high pressure jets. Location is a short and delightful stroll...
Great location, walking distance to main site seeings such church as Russia, Alexander church, cafes and restaurants. The hotel has a good spa facility (steam room, sauna, salt sauna, and pool) and gym. The restaurant is also very nice!

I am extremely impressed with this beautiful, elegant, and historic hotel with its wonderful and courteous staff. I have visited Sofia many times and I can't believe I missed this hotel. Excellent service. Amazing breakfast. Room was a bit small but had great amenities. Bathroom was fantastic. Incredible shower!! Bed was super comfortable. Helped us get a taxi to airport and loaded our bags etc. Location was unbeatable. Lobby was absolutely decadent!
I was lucky enough to stay here twice. It's an amazing hotel reasonably priced. Both my rooms were very comfy and very nicely decorated. There is a coffee machine, iron with ironing board hairdryer and security box in the room. Staff at reception were lovely and helpful. It's right on top of everything. I used the bar the second time I went which is very nice and I had a reasonably priced glass of...
We are really enjoying our stay! The location is amazing, you can literally walk everywhere. The rooms are recently renovated and very modern.
We booked a suite, which had a separate room with a sofa and tv. Also a balcony, but only 1 chair outside? Breakfast was very good. Great location in central Sofia.
Pros: Firstly, the hotel is in a prime location - you can walk everywhere. The decor and the quality of the finishes are okay. The breakfasts were okay, everything was fresh, and there was enough variety that, even after staying in this hotel for 6 days, I didn't feel tired of it. The prices are good. Cons: I received a room on the 6th floor, door to door with the service room - from 6 in the morning...

Beatiful, modern. I can reccomend. Nice staff.
This place gives you positive vibes and a calm mood. It feels more private than a grand hotel and the restaurant terrace is just wonderful with it's diffuse light coming all over you during the day. The mountain is waiting for you outside your window and you breath a crystal clear air. It was really peaceful during our stay.
We had a lovely stay. The food was great, the staff were friendly and a special thanks to Adriana who made our experience even better. Her service was amazing.
I quite like the Restaurant. It's clean and tidy. The bartender is honest and polite. The meals were acceptable. The only thing is the quality versus quality. You can find this quite questionable. Overall the place worth visiting.

Silent, clean, nice service, wonderful moment
Polite and professional staff.
(+)Nice and delicious kitchen, many gourmet food . (-)The restaurant is smoking although is forbidden for this.
Comfortable, clean, breakfast included
Super nice... the beds are king size and there is a hint of chic and "expensive" everywhere, but the food in the restaurant is really expensive. There is a market nearby and everything is great.

My wife and I stayed there one night with our 1 year old baby. I will strongly recommend it. It was very clean, staff is very polite and professional. Restaurant was about to close, but they still served me food. I would definitely stay there again .!
I stayed for 11 days and today is my last day... Everything was perfect, they gave me a early check-in, which was very appreciated. Everyone was delightful but 1/2 people made a really great impression, the chef that cooks the omlettes in the morning, he will always greet you and smile but overall his energy made you feel very welcomed. I would definitely recommend. The only suggestion id make is...
If possible i would give 20 Stars. We celebrated our wedding there, and from the beginning we received a bespoke Service that overexeeded our expectations. This impression lasted during the whole event and our journey. All of our guests loved the place and the people also. We highly recommend this place and will definetely come back. If lucky with a christening ;)
Excellent as usual. I reached at midnight and yet the Chef made me a burger to eat. Kudos!!
Perfect location for private or business event. The stuff was extremely polite and helpful, they helped me to organize my small private event in the SPA zone and everything was exactly like in my mind. Last but not least they were very flexible with regard to the current pandemic situation and they did their best to meet my wishes and needs.
The room is confortable and clean. Excellent staff. You can ask for bathrobe and slippers at the front desk. The breakfast is the "but", it could be improved, we had dinner and the difference of quality is notable.

Nicely furnished rooms - no matter where you went you saw so much amazing art. Staff was friendly and took good care. Good service and friendly staff. Nice and spacious room. An error with my reservation had me waiting in the lobby while the staff sorted out the issue. There was also an issue with my bathroom floor left riddled with black shoe marks and a dirty floor cloth after cleaning servic
The hotel is closed (aug 21). So the ancient roman ruins in the basement. Unfortunatelly
Great hotel, good stuff, excellent service
Lovely for business meetings. Very clean and well furnished.

The room key many times did not work and one of the elevators was extremely noisy so much that you could hear the noise from across the hallway. I do like the fact that they have a sauna that opens early and ends late so you can come at any time. So overall my stay was pretty good.
Very nice hotel. Staff is extremely friendly , the restaurant serves a nice breakfast and dinner. We were upgraded to a corner unit that provided an excellent view of mountains. Will definitely stay here again!
We just had a last minute, one night stay at the hotel and we were very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, and the rooms were very modern and comfortable. My wife even said that this was one of the best Hilton hotels we have stayed in, and we have stayed in our fair share. We are definitely coming back!
Great hotel with very nice personal I enjoy to stay in hotel for the business meetings I have it's a very nice and clean. :) Also they chooses to work with a very nice taxi company the name is Volt premium taxi. Also great service Everything was great thank you :)
Super-convenient to the main centre of Sofia and to a metro station if you want to go elsewhere. Beautiful renovation… exec rooms and exec bar excellent. Breakfasts well stocked and eggs were hot every day. Diamond Hilton customer recognition also very good.
We stayed for 3 days. Positive: - new rooms - good location - friendly staff Neutral: - breakfast is ok, not bad. I would expect more but overall fine. Negative: - no wellness/gym area - no pool - nothing inside mini bar, you need to go to the reception if you want something - bad WiFi connection

If it wouldn't have been for the nice staff and cleanliness of the room, this hotel is not value for the money at all. I hate the fact that bulgarians always overrate their hotels. This is a 3 star hotel. Nobody in their right minds would give 5 stars to this hotel. I hated the fact that I heard all the noises from the other room due to the door separating the rooms. The restaurant has a nice garden...
Simply stunning hotel. Breakfast in this peaceful atrium every morning will be the highlight of your day. Possibly the best coffee I've ever experienced. Parking available, but also a very walkable location. Highly recommended.
There were some issues at the start due to the arrival of two big groups and the perfect storm that came into existence as a result. The hotel offered me a free diner as a compensation. During the diner, the hotel manager visited me to apologise. I appreciated that and it showed that they really try to give a good experience, but it was apparently just 'force majeure' for them. After diner he gave...
Everyone at the hotel is friendly and speaks excellent English. Employees are extremely helpful. Loves the breakfast restaurant area with a glass house garden leading to alfresco sitting. I would like to note that I stayed in this hotel around 60 times over the course of 1 year so I have seen every room and all other common facilities, so trust me when I say that it doesn't worth it.
I know that the hotel is currently under renovation, but I higly doubt that I would be good to stay there even after the renovation.
