Terrible beds. Could feel the springs. Not very nice. The room did have a strange smell, luckily we could sleep with the windows open. But that came with a lot of noise. Breakfast was there, but nothing to shout out for. Map-vise it was a tad south of where everything happened. But it wasn't too bad. Would still consider it within easy walking distance.

The position is great, right behind the Main Street and all the restaurants. But for the rest is a below average hotel. Very old, rooms are small and dated. Room 105, is right above the street and not insulated so the noise from the street for a light sleeper is a nightmare. The smell of fried bacon from the kitchen in the morning is very strong inside the room. I will not come back.

I booked a room for my parents, I didnt actually stayed here but I met the wonderful reception team and the managers, they were absolutely fabulous. It was a very pleasant stay and the best thing was the location of the hotel. Staffs were professional. Breakfast was also good. The lady at the breakfast counter was very nice and welcoming. The location is excellent. The hotel is indeed unpretentious and old, the staff were kind and helpful though there were some language and understanding barriers. The room was very clean when we arrived but not cleaned during our week's stay which was a pity.

Great rooms, breakfast. Minus one star for lack of eco friendly awareness: I asked for a glass of mineral water for breakfast. They only provided a plastic one. Great little hotel in the heart of Sofia, everywhere was in walking distance, owner really friendly he recommended fabulous restaurant next door that did not disappoint. The shower is extremely hot with water pressure that is better than in my own house. The bathroom was extremely clean. Both of our rooms were big. Pretty views on both sides of the building. The location is really near to the historical center, you can go there walking. The guy is really nice, he allowed me to guest a couple of friends and their luggage for a few hours in the middle of the night and he arrange the cab for them, he was really nice. The room was big and comfy, and it's really nice that every room has a different city name. Really a great hotel and great staff.

The people who worked there were very nice and helpful. The rooms were nice but if a third person is added, one person needs to sleep on the couch which isn't as comfy as the beds but still a decent option. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend!

I think it was good value for the money. The staff was courteous even though we had to wait for the night receptionist who remained away for over 15 minutes while the notice stated that she would be back in five. The reception area was without any air-conditioning and difficult to sit in. It was a small place but clean and tidy. The short distance from the bus terminal was also good.

We had a great 4 day stay at Casa Ferrari. The room was large and spacious, bed was comfortable with a bath room en suite. It was always clean. Our host 'Lucy" could'nt have been more helpful and kind. He did the breakfast for us each day treating us to different Bulgarian breakfast pastries and breads each morning. the hotel and the accommodation itself are good, the Panorama restaurant is satisfactory, but the breakfast is very weak and a poor choice. A big minus is that hotel guests are charged a daily parking fee of more than 8 euros, which is incomprehensible to me and very bad for the business of the hotel itself.

Booked a room for an early flight out of Sophia, the hotel staff were friendly and spoke english. They could answer all my queries on the phone before booking as well. Room was spacious, clean and well decorated. Hotel has a great atmosphere. Early morning taxi was easy to organise and arrived on time. Near a Jumbo and Lidl if you need. Located within a 15 minute walk of town centre. Clean but basic rooms. Breakfast was good. Actually returned to stay again a fortnight later for a couple of nights and had a different room, this time on the 4th floor. The room was much better; more spacious, bathroom more modern and bed more comfortable.

Good cheap hotel close to the bus and train station. Not as close as others if you want a quick walk to the centre but it can be done. Breakfast was fine with enough on offer. Duty night manager was nice and spoke good English.

The hotel is clean, the breakfast is decent. In front of the hotel, there are only 3-4 parking spaces, but nearby, there is another parking lot with plenty of spaces. It's a 3 star hotel, not 4 star. By far. Though offering good location, rather adequate pricing and fair view of Vitosha mountain. Might have been cleaner considering hotel star rating. Bank cards are accepted. Currency exchange rates ain't the best around (better see the bank opposite side of the road).

There was some bad things happened. When I ask for transport they sad that there was no airplane that time and no room booked, so they coulden’t pick me up! They where wrong and they didn’t say I am sorry or something. They sad that I had taken Vodka from the minibar! Totaly wrong. I have used this hotel often for 12 years and they had been OK, but this time it was not so good.

I strongly recommend that everyone come and stay at the hotel.A nice and welcoming team. And I would like to mention the receptionist Daisy who was always smiling and tried to help with any question. I stayed in the hotel for one night. My flight was leaving early in the morning so the free shuttle was efficient and very useful. They also provided a breakfast to go as I was leaving before breakfast had started. The room was very clean although there was a piece of poop on the showerhead that I had to clean before taking a shower because it was extremely unsanitary.

For a 3 star hotel, I couldn't complain at all. Had everything I wanted and needed there, as well as being clean and tidy. It's about 10-15mins walk from the centre of Sofia which is great. I have not been to a higher starred Hotel before, but I don't think I ever will want to after coming here to be honest.

This Hotel is located within walking distance of the historic city center and major attractions. There are several parks nearby for walking or biking. There are also several large shopping centers within walking distance.
