Amazing hotel in the heart of Sofia. It is next to the Sofia university, City garden, Royal Palace and National Theatre. Good customer service and cozy rooms. It is a little pricy but I would definately recommend it.

You can walk everywhere to get around(important and interesting places). Very comfortable bed(mattress, pillows). The first night it was hot under the duvet. The rooms are comfortable and cozy

The atmosphere is good, gives the feel of a luxurious place. The food is amazing, just a bit over the mid pricing. The staff is very friendly. Overall, loved it! :)

A very unique hotel! I really enjoyed my stay here and would book again! There is beautiful abstract art covering most walls and all empty space is filled with sculptures

After a few days, it became repetitive as the same options were offered daily. Surprisingly, there was no option for an omelette. If breakfast hadn’t been included in the room rate, I wouldn’t have paid extra for it

For those interested, there’s a gym nearby where you can get a day pass for half the price of the hotel’s fee. Hotel in General: This hotel is perfect for art lovers, with paintings and sculptures displayed throughout

Spa: When I booked the hotel, it wasn’t clearly stated that access to the gym and pool wasn’t included in the price. I was disappointed to discover there were additional charges for these amenities

If a country (Bulgaria) takes you as a guest because in your country (Ukraine) is a war going be a little bit more respectful and thankful that you're helped with work and money! It changed our point of thinking also about this war situation for this kind of people

Downtown hotel in Sofia Bulgaria. The Manger and staf are polite, respectful. Nice breakfast ,alot of verity, fruit, vegetables, meat etc. Center of the city, close to all areas

But to the hotel again; During our stay, some things went wrong at the breakfast during our 4 days stay so we complained about it at the reception

The manager personally came to talk about it and explained it and fixed it also. If we can give 10 stars it would be for the manager. She's very helpful and friendly! Next time we definitely come back!

The rooms would need to be upgraded and they should take care of some things like changing the curtains who are dirty and the carpets in the rooms Generally the should pay attention more in the cleanliness

Good hotel part of the Marriott offering globally (I think the only one in Sofia); location is great - as you can see from the photos attached; near by are many key sites to visit and explore; only potential issue - if you are on the top floor room you may hear music/noise from the hotel bar on the roof

From the bellman, Sergei, finding and rescuing us from the parking police (be aware there are currently only 2 spots to park on site) to the front desk remembering our names and helping us with reservations and taxis

This hotel boasts an excellent location, though be mindful that rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy. The deluxe rooms are spacious and come equipped with a bathtub, providing a luxurious touch to your stay

Excellent hotel in the middle of the city. Very nice SPA, excellent breakfast on the top floor with a wonderful view on Sofia! We had a perfect room with a top view on Austrian and Italian embassy

Only (small) minus was that is was possible to smoke in the roof-top-bar during night and the music was very, very loud! Nevertheless for our next visit in Sofia we will come back!!!

Perfect welcome, but the checkout felt a bit cold. The room was very spacious, modern and had a beautiful view. The sky bar was excellent, and the restaurants offered very good cuisine.

We stayed 10 days at the Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia and the experience was exceptionally good. The staff was great at corresponding before we arrived with shuttle arrangements. The housekeeping was fantastic

We stayed on the 20th floor and we could see the mountains surrounding us. We really appreciate George and Micheal and Anthony for their helpful service at reception

Also we enjoyed a massage by Alexandria and Daniel and the spa services. We will definitely return when next in Sofia. Thank you for the superb experience!

The hotel may not be 4 stars, but the prices for the stay are adequate and even low for what is offered! Breakfast - from bacon to croissants, various drinks included in it

Perfect location, helpful staff, big rooms, pool. The restaurant is open again, and the menu and service are gorgeous! Not too many dishes, but there is something for everyone. Very good selection of wines and drinks

Close to pretty much everything. Also the trolley and bus stops are with in a 3 minute walk. At the corner you have a 24/7 store. So if you need something you can walk up there

I`ve never stayed in the hotel but we visited the restaurant today

It's about a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport and the train station, but if you're hungry at night, there's nothing local open, so you have been warned! We stayed here on our inbound and outbound journeys and we couldn't fault it, on either occasion

The hotel itself is beautiful in a classic and dignified way. The location is perfect, right in the centre with everything in the city centre within walking distance

Starting with location - walking distance to every kind of bar, restaurant or grocery store, walking distance to many places of interest. Professional and nice staff, very clean and spacious rooms

The service was fantastic and the toiletries were all The White Company (which my wife tells me is a good brand 🤷). Didn't eat in the restaurant but did use the spa which includes sauna, steam room and there's a gym too

A wonderful hotel...

A good hotel, the lobby and halls are very beautiful, the interior is stunning, the park at the hotel is incredibly elegant, very beautiful, a very good place for high-level events, but the rooms in the hotel are quite old-fashioned and shabby, and the room service is also at a very low level

For example, the maid just threw a blanket on the bed, straightened it out and said that she had a lot of work today, and she would not clean, that's the kind of service

Rooms are nice but the bathrooms are quite standard, would have here expected a bit more. Service is super friendly and the breakfast is good.

In general, a very beautiful hotel with many restaurants, a very beautiful lobby, and an incredibly beautiful parking area

Sofa with table to relax on! Great room! Wellness spa are and gym were included in our booking which was lovely to relax in! Steam, sauna and salt rooms with jacuzzi and swimming pool with jets

Radi was so helpful, friendly and provided great suggestions of where to eat and what’s unique to shop. Hotel is in a great location walking distance to city center, 5 min walk to the famous cathedral

Rooms a very spacious with tons of storage and very nice shower. We had club access, which offers delicious breakfast and happy hour appetizers in a quiet pretty setting

Anyways the hotel dealt with the matter very professionally, said and DID all the right service corrections, even leaving a treat with a kind note of (unnecessary but appreciated) apology

The breakfast buffet was okay, but the dining hall was amazing with its vintage decoration and the view of elegant people walking to their jobs early in the morning

Both times I stayed I had to leave too early for breakfast but they made me a breakfast bag to take away with me on my journey which was very helpful, none of the other hotels I stayed in offered this

I want to thank and appreciate all the staff, especially the polite young man, Denis, who was working at the reception after midnight. Even though it was very late, he was very helpful

It's a well situated and good service hotel. The rooms are spacious and it has nice showers. Value to price ratio is good.

The receptionist was a bit rude, got annoyed that we bothered her, and made us wait for almost half an hour, but good customer service was not something I was expecting specifically, so it won't affect the final rating so much

From an emotional point of view, this hotel is forgettable, lacking any charisma, and loosing points for cheapening out at certain building/decorative features (things that shouldn't happen in place with 4 stars)

The room I stayed in was one of the renovated ones, so the furniture was pretty nice (and I really liked the walk-in shower!). The mattress was comfy, and I hope the white sheets were clean for real

Not bad service, but the language barrier was obvious. No one informed us about a card in the closet which we have to use for cleaning the room the opposite way a "do not disturb" sign works

All-in-all, the experience was reasonable. But for several reasons I won't come back, and I won't recommend the place to others

Good welcoming the breakfast was more than excellent for more or less price of 6€. The restaurant on the 6th floor was super tasty and the chef prepared and cooked everything on the spot

I stayed two nights and overall I am very pleased! There is a beautiful park next to the hotel which I also recommend! I will come back there for sure!

Great friendly service all the way from the communication prior to arrival to arranging the shuttle to and from the airport. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. We'll definitely stay again when we return

A bit far from touristy places. Metro/Bus stops within 10 mins walk. There are a few nice restaurants nearby. Free minibar in the room (beers, juice and water). Happy that they took care of my requests

Stayed at the Metropolitan in Sofia for a few days for the European Weightlifting Champs. Large and comfortable rooms in a convenient location for getting to the Centre, the airport or the Sofia Arena

Great for the price they offer, especially with the breakfast they offer. The reception area has a lot of seating area so you don't have to sit close to strangers and make it awkward for everyone

) This was also the very first hotel I’ve been to in Europe (after traveling 2 months) that had pancakes WITH syrup. It was not the highlight of the breakfast for me, but definitely worth noting

Convenient location close to the City Airport. Large rooms, well maintained with very comfortable bed. Elevator outside the building as attractive. Very good breakfast and polite staff

The tv was a little older, meaning there was no way to connect any streaming services to it other than an hdmi cord connected to a laptop. I expect a little better from a 4-star hotel

I could get a vary generous pour of scotch and rakia, my girl got some white wine as well. Overall, the staff are lovely and friendly. I would stay again if I come back to Sofia 😀

Stayed here at beginning and end of Bulgaria cycling trip and extremely helpful about storing bike bags and organising transport back to airport. Huge, delicious tasting breakfast spread.

Literally everything 😃 I haven't had a big breakfast for a long time but I couldn't hold myself. The next day, my girl felt the weather was so hot and wanted to rest in the room

Then they came with a plate full of fruits, and it was a pleasant surprise. And before we went outside for dinner, they told me they have happy hr with free drinks and snacks

Breakfast is fantastic, plentiful, with sweet and savory dishes, typical Bulgarian and European dishes: you will eat good and a lot. Definitely worth included with your room

Very good value for money, the rooms are good sized, the bed is comfortable and I like the location - 10-15 minutes away from the center by taxi & 5 minutes away from Bulgaria mall and a big Billa shop

This was my second stay in this hotel

I recently spent a night at Festa Hotel when they were having some hot water problems. The water was warm enough to take a comfortable shower but again never hot water

I was offered a nice hotel gift and a discount on my next stay as compensation which upon reflection is adequate and correct

Hotel is very good. Service is poor. Lunch qnd dinner basic. They dont clean room daily. Waiter in restoran very bad.

Though it took some hours for the hotel to discover the problem however the staff were gracious and understanding

Fitness equipment and gym gear was great to have access to; not crowded at all. Can really escape in the center of Sofia or pursue a social lifestyle, options are endless

The location is very good - next to the Sofia University. The staff were awesome especially the two girls on reception desk. Few issues minor issues were immediately fixed. Highly recommend!

I went to Crystal Palace's spa and sauna cente and forgot to make a reservation and thought that I wouldn't be accepted due to the lack of lockers

The hotel location was very good. There are a lot of tourist destinations near it, and the rooms were nice and clean too. However, i have one complaint:in the room i was staying, 215(i think), the window was broken

The staff at the hotel are extremely considerate and friendly, they certainly bring pride to the Novotel brand! Even though I come just a 2-3 times a year, due to its very convenient location near the airport (and next to a big mall), they always remember me and go out of their way to make me feel welcome (airport pick-up after midnight, some food & fruit in the room, etc

They provided me with excellent advice on local attractions and must-visit places. I was particularly impressed with their detailed recommendations for hiking trails in the area. The bar was another highlight of my stay

Excellent location of the hotel in the center of Sofia. Very good attention from the reception staff, they assisted us in English and also in Spanish. They offered us different options for our greater comfort

The hotel is in an excellent location. Our room was fine - the clerk said it was their best. There is a good shower with very strong water pressure and dispensers for shampoo, body wash and conditioner

Even better when the next morning we had to wait in the lobby, while the staff took care of picking up our car and bring it in front of the hotel. Highly recommended and thanks for your hospitality

Friendly staff and the service was above expectations, especially when the receptionist was going with me to guide me where to park the car, which was a 5min walk back to the hotel
