We are a family of five, and recently my oldest daughter had to undergo surgery at the Stollery in Edmonton. We chose Canterra because of its location and the size of the rooms, and it turned out to be a great decision. Upon arrival, the staff were very friendly and check-in was quick and easy. They offer underground parking, which was convenient—although the layout is a bit unusual, it’s manageable as long as your vehicle meets the height requirements.
We booked a two-bedroom king suite, and the room was extremely clean and well maintained. It came with a full-size fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, plus pots, pans, cutlery—everything you’d need. There was even a washer and dryer! As a large family, having that much space made a huge difference. And to top it off, the price was excellent. We would have paid the same at a regular hotel for a quarter of the space and none of the amenities.
I would highly recommend this hotel for larger families, and we will definitely be staying again.!

Large beautiful rooms with multiple separate bedrooms(great for big families)for those of you that dont want to share beds with your friends or family. Super quiet and pet friendly with a fee.
Provided kitchens and living room areas so you dont have to eat out the whole trip.
Next to good restaurants and fast food places, and grocery stores.

This is the best place to stay in downtown Edmonton! I have stayed in many hotels in downtown, and I always come back to the Canterra Suites!

This was a perfect place for 2couples to stay with private and shared spaces. It was clean and comfortable and a good location. There is a kitchen do some meals can be prepared in the room. Excellent price. We really enjoyed our stay there!

This is the 1 bedroom plus office suite. It was clean and comfortable. Alot larger than I thought it would be. No AC in the room but there was a pedestal fan in the office that we used to keep cool.

Highly recommend this hotel. Extremely clean. 2 bed/2 bath was very large. Kitchen, dining area, living room and washer/dryer. You can feel safe as all the exterior doors are locked mid afternoon. Entrances to each floor are always locked as well. We had a good supply of amenities and the kitchen was well stocked. Easy to locate hotel and it is close to all necessities. Negatives were that the parking lot is small, so we had to park outside in the grocery store parking lot. Also, the elevators are very old and slow. Those two things were the only negative points. We would highly recommend staying at the Canterra Suites Hotel.

Canterra is such a great place to stay. Great location right beside a save on foods and Starbucks. The room is spacious and clean. Beds are super comfortable. There is a tv in each room. Underground parking available for $20 a day and is well worth it. Not far from west Edmonton mall roughly 20-25 mins. Definitley book here. Great staff and can’t say a bad thing about this place. Will book in the future for sure. I did also forget something at the hotel and they shipped it to my house for me. I never write reviews but here I am writing one because people need to stay here. I had my two kids with me and we all loved it and felt right at home. 5 stars across the board!!!! Thank you canterra staff you are amazing

This was an excellent place to stay!! A family member is in palliative care in a nearby hospital, and all the staff couldn't have been more professional, caring and helpful! The suite was very clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable! The hotel is close to a gracery store, and several restaurants. Thank you!
