Altinkaya Holiday Resort in Kyrenia

Had an amazing stay very relaxing. Staff can’t do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble for them. hotel very clean and we stayed in a newly renovated room which was beautiful and loved the salon style hair dryer. Location was perfect for us very short walk down the road to supermarket, restaurants, money exchange and pharmacy. Lovely area. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday this is the place. We did take two teenagers with us and they enjoyed it too. Had the pool to themselves most days . Breakfast at hotel is good and a great selection of hot and cold foods. We will be back, thank you for an amazing holiday.

Had a great holiday. In the same Troon as last year. People we meet have all said how good it is. Great staff, great value. Will be back in 3 weeks. Hope we have as good a time as this.I love having a full English breakfast every day, and nothing is too much for the staff.

Altinkaya- please never change. Lovely stay in a lovely quiet room and all the usual care and consideration from all of the lovely staff. Lots of choice on the food front and overall wonderful service. Keep up the great work. See you again very soon!

We have been to this hotel a few times before but never in April so was a first for us. Like the summer holidays we have had at the altinkaya it was lovley. We had a lovley relaxing time. The hotel is nice and small so you get to know all the staff well by first names as do they you. Your not just a number here. You feel like part of a family. Nothing is to much trouble. We ate in a few times this holiday and some lovley meals from the menu. The pool looked great but was a bit cold for me!. Have to wait until June when I'm a bit braver!. We stayed in a lovley room overlooking the outside bar. It was a lovley big room. The bar out side does not open until the summer so we sat inside in the evening just chilling out playing cards. We had a lovley spring break. And something I would like to do again. We normally go June and Sept so this made a nice change. Looking forward to going back.

I am a regular visitor to this hotel and have always loved it. However this time we had my 91 year old mother with us and I was concerned by the challenges this might bring. But we were all blown away by the care provided- Melissa at the helm as ever but my mother was taken by wheelchair everywhere she needed to be with warmth, charm, humour and care and respect. We never had to worry if we popped out and left her and I now have so much respect for the wonderful team at the Altinkaya. Thank you all so much.

Great staff that really helped when I asked if I could have a change of room, first room very quiet and lovely view of the mountains but only had a shower in the bath and fixtures were a bit dated. Second room has a great walk in shower but lost the views, you can’t have everything. Food is good with a buffet breakfast, the evening meal I had was also self serve and reasonably priced. Nice clean pool with sunbeds, bit noisy with a busy road next to it, we are in the city so expected. I would return here especially as the staff are very helpful.

We had very good flights from stansted to ercan, arrived at the hotel and was very impressed with staff coming out to carry out suitcase’s, we stayed in room 201 next to the swimming pool, room is dated but spacious and very clean, the hotel could not run without Melissa she has everything under control, most of the holiday makers are regular visitors and been coming for years, there is no entertainment at this hotel so I could imagine kids getting bored, it’s definitely for the over 50, if you want to just chill this is the right place, you do need a car to get around, my biggest surprise was the cleaners they where excellent, Eddie the bar man is just brilliant, I just hope the owners of this hotel appreciate all the wonderful staff they have, I will be returning next year

My family and I stayed at the hotel for a week. We felt like home. We would recommend it to everyone. The staff is very friendly and helps to solve any question or problem. Breakfast is simple, a little boring after a week. There are good restaurants nearby for dinner. Conveniently, there is an outside bar open all day serving drinks and food. The prices are not very high. The rooms are neat, have a refrigerator, air conditioner. Some bathrooms are newly renovated. Pools with sunbeds are comfortable, a beautiful oasis of plants has been created outside, so you don't feel like the street is nearby. The only thing to keep in mind is that the sea is quite far away, so it is more convenient to have a rented car or go with a taxi (depending on the beach, the price is about 10 EUR one way).

My friend and I stayed here for a week and had such a wonderful time. The staff couldn't do enough for us. It isn't a perfect hotel, the room we stayed in had a couple of issues. But despite this, we both agreed we would come back because we were made to feel so welcome by everyone at the hotel. Special shout out to Billy. He was an absolute dream and he is a credit to the hotel. He made what would have otherwise been an okay holiday into an experience that we will remember for a really long time. Thank you so much.
You should really visit this hotel, you won't be disappointed. We'll be coming back for sure.
