Lovely Hotel and visited again for our pre-Christmas break to Nicosia as a group of (6) for the third time, excellent location directly opposite the Old City Walls and easy walking distance to most of the popular Nicosia Places to visit. The rooms are compact but have everything you need and we understand that they had to be designed this way due to the age of the building and it's history. The staff are friendly and very helpful and although the breakfast options have been reduced when compared to our previous visits, the food is plentiful and with options for both hot or cold dishes we feel is very good value for money in our opinion. However, as a precautionary measure to anyone visiting at this time of year the Hotel is opposite the Christmas Fair and some rooms can have a noise issue not a problem for ourselves because it adds to the Christmas Atmosphere but if you check when booking the Staff will always try to accommodate a request for a quieter room. Finally, we would like to point out that the Skyview Restaurant (Eight Floor of the Hotel) is operated totally independently to the Hotel since we ourselves had a very disappointing reservation experience that had been made months previously, the Staff were rude, the meal was mediocre and three of our party had to return food that was cold, several people were smoking/vaping and when we questioned we were told that it was a covered terrace and they were allowed to do so. On a positive note the Restaurant certainly has stunning rooftop views but no way does it reflect the hype that the Restaurant promotes.

Worst nightmare! Avoid this hotel! The rooms are too small, the area around the hotel is ugly and loud. Don’t trust any of the pictures published by the hotel! The air condition doesn‘t work because it only works in summer, so the sun is heating the room during the day like crazy and its impossible to cool down the room. Hotel staff told me to just open the windows. Yeah great idea but the area is extremly loud! Couldn‘t sleep for hours! The rooms are so small, even the bathroom sink is not inside of the „bathroom“ its next to entry of the room.

Nice new clean rooms and very polite stuff. However be aware of the noise during the whole day and especially in the night - loud music won’t let you sleep until early in the morning.

This is a gem of a hotel, beautifully designed and restored and sits alongside the walls of old Nicosia. Its walkability is a big plus. The rooms, though compact, have everything you’d want from a modern hotel and are spotlessly clean. Great staff who are friendly as well as very helpful. Breakfast is good and offers a wide and healthy choice. The little olive pastries are delicious! A little disappointing the rooftop bar wasn’t open at the time but look forward to it being available the next time we come back - and we will be back!

Fantastic. The gate 22 team helped us out immensely and were patient and friendly the entire time. They arranged an airport and final destination travel for us... Which was perfect. The rooms are a nice size... Some may find them small... To each their own. The balconies if you get one are a nice place in the morning or evening to relax. Oh yeah... The roof top bar has nice views and a good selection of wines. We stayed only one night... But could easily spend more. Recommend.

Excellent location: right in the heart of things in the Old town and 10 mins walk to the best restaurants in the city center. Superb breakfast: not so much the quantity, but everything was of the highest quality, including really good coffee. I asked for boiled eggs, because they were not in buffet, and they made the best soft-boiled eggs I've ever had. The kitchen cheff is amazing! AC worked perfectly and a balcony to sit in for the sunset was a lovely bonus.
Coffee-and tea makers are available in the room.
But the absolute best asset of this hotel is their staff. We felt right at home, everything was taken care of, and even before we had to ask. Still smiling when we remember them.

Probably one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in Nicosia.
Completely enhanced by the amazing staff who make you feel so welcome, and nothing is to much trouble.
The rooms are modern and relaxing, the bedding is very comfortable and the room has all that you will need.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience at their Rooftop
Bar! The drinks were exquisite, made with obvious care and skill.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking a delightful evening experience and not to forget to mention the majestic view of the Rooftop Bar as well!
