We spent a week at So White Club Resort at Cyprus in July, and unfortunately, it was the most disappointing stay we’ve ever had. Our friends, who paid exactly the same price, received a much higher-standard room with a living room, bedroom, balcony, and jacuzzi, while we were assigned a dirty single-room that looked like it was under renovation. Water was leaking from the ventilation, there was sand and dirt in the shower, mold in several places, and dead insects and dust on the floor.

From the very beginning, we tried to change rooms, but we were met with excuses and attempts to make us feel foolish. We were told to come back another day and that supposedly the check-out system “wasn’t working,” which “unabled” them from providing a room change the next day. The manager, despite our requests, never came out to speak with us. Instead, we spoke with a staff member who kept consulting with the manager every few minutes, which we found extremely unprofessional. On top of that, the staff member was extremely rude and laughed in our faces when we were clearly frustrated.

The staff tried to convince us that “our room was still better than our friends’,” even though the difference was huge. After 1.5 hours of discussions and waiting, we were finally showed to the room. Only because we insisted and didn’t let them dismiss us did we get the option to change to another room, which was supposedly occupied at first. This clearly shows how misleading the hotel and its staff can be. The second room was indeed better, but still dirty — the mattress was badly stained, the fridge was so old and filthy that we were afraid to put anything in it, and the towels we received were stained and not fresh.

As if that weren’t bad enough, it wasn’t just the inside of the hotel that was dirty. The pool, the poolside mattresses, and the entire pool area were also in poor condition and definitely in need of cleaning and maintenance

The food at the hotel was terrible, frankly inedible. Hams and cheeses were not refrigerated properly, and flies were flying around. We only had breakfast included, and even there, there really wasn’t anything worth eating.

To make matters worse, some of the photos used to advertise the hotel were AI-generated at the time we booked the hotel, which we only realized when we arrived and compared them to the actual rooms.

The cleaning staff was kind and did their job, but the hotel itself is poorly maintained and in need of renovation. Also sadly as I mentioned before approach to customers is far from good. The only positives were the nice surroundings and proximity to the beach, but that is far from enough to recommend this hotel. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard and more professional staff.

The only merit of this hotel is its location and landscape. The quality of the staff is equal to zero; room cleanliness is ensured only after receiving a tip. The male service staff, who are not Cypriot by nationality, behave quite rudely, which is inappropriate for the ethics of the hospitality sector. Almost every evening, we found them lying in the gazebos near the pool—intended for guests—drinking beer and smoking.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing.
The rooms look nothing like the photos — the reality is completely different from the marketing.
The air conditioners are old and inefficient, making the stay very uncomfortable.
Service was poor, staff were unhelpful, and the facilities were neglected and not clean.
I would definitely not recommend staying here. There are far better options in Ayia Napa for the same or even lower price.

Such a shame, this hotel is in a beautiful location on Landa beach in Ayia Napa but the hotel is shoddy. On the whole the hotel looks great but scratch the surface and you will find that things have been patched up badly, the
grounds are unkempt, there was no hot water in our room even when we told them and then the next day it was scorching hot because we couldn't control the temperature ourselves.
The breakfast was terrible, not enough choice.
The staff don't understand what you are saying to them, even trying to charge us extra for use of the bar, because of their incompetence got the wrong room.
I couldn't wait to leave won’t be going back.

I and two friends of mine went there before the season started. We booked a studio at So White, with a double bed and an extensible couch. We received a studio with a big bed. The sofa was regular (non-extensible), not what we actually booked. The hotel is advertised for 5 stars, but I'm sorry to say that's not the case. The view and the hotel itself is really nice, the staff was really, really friendly and hospitable, the pools are great. The cleaning though, that's a whole other story. The cleaning lady came almost every day just to make the bed (we always left the bed unmade as a sign, to see if anybody ever goes into the room to "clean"). We left the dirty towels on the floor, in the middle of the bathroom, as we do everywhere we travel, and we always found the same towels neatly folded. On the bathroom floor :D. Vacuuming was inexistent, at most swept with a broom in the middle of the living room. Bathroom was never cleaned in 7 days, and towards the end of the journey we received 2 extra towels. For 3 persons, that is... :D.
Other than that, food was really good and always fresh, the beach is wide, it can accommodate a lot of people, and as I said, the view is really nice.
Based on other experiences from other countries, I would rate this one a 3 star hotel.

The So White Hotel should be rated a 2 or 3 star Hotel. The only 5-star aspect is its location by the beach. Beyond that, the place is rundown and not worth anywhere near the price. I regret not reading reviews before booking.

The photos are likely 15 to 20 years old; it looks nothing like them. We found mold on the bedroom ceiling, and the room was dirty and very worn down.

I’ve never left a negative review before, but I think it's important for others to know so they can choose somewhere else. This hotel may have been great when it first opened, but it certainly isn't now.

Awfully. The hotel is in a neglected state. Would definitely rate this hotel as a 2 star hotel. Old furniture in the rooms and at the swimming pools. Everything is falling apart… The management seems that they don’t care. The photos are nothing like the reality.

Worst possible hotel ever! People working here should not be dealing with Humans.

We had a reservation and we came and they said sorry we made a mistake, we are fully booked, after they charged me for the room.

Ok, I say refund me please l, they said sorry the manager is only working in the morning and we can't refund you now!!!

I destroyed some furniture and left

Do not book on this hotel! It was one of the worst experience that we have ever had on accommodation! The room was very dirty and full of molt. This is one photo of the room which has molt! We have reported to the reception about the bad smell and how dirty was the room and also we ask to relocate us in another room because i was pregnant! theis answer was that there were fully booked and they couldn't do anything.... I couldn't sleep at the night from the smell !!! The next day at the morning i reported the issue again with the room and the staff didn't know anything, this is means that there isn't any communication between them.
The breakfast was disgusting!!!

Please avoid this hotel!!!!

Great Hotel!!
The rooms are clean and stocked.The good is very very tasty and varid.There are pools .a large ja cuzzu and a beach the sea.Comfortable large sunbeams and next to the beach is the wet bar .
THE PLACE IS PERFECT FOR A VACATION.
One of my regular destinations is holidaying here :)
