The hotel is located on the beautiful lagoon in Pissouri. A great place to relax with family and children.

Location: in the village of Pissouri, between Limassol and Paphos and 25 km from Paphos international airport.

Consists of a main three storey building and nine villas.

Only 94 rooms.

Beach: public sandy-pebble beach is 50 m from the hotel, the first coastal line. Mattresses, towels, umbrellas, sunbeds - free of charge.

A great experience. Our checkin was easy. Our room wasn’t ready but we had a late lunch and all was set. The room was lovely with a spectacular view of the beach. Breakfast is extravagant. The gym while small has good equipment. Meals were on the pricey side but good quality. The best part was the warmth of the staff. From the waiters to the front desk staff and especially including Carmen who cleaned our room everyone was friendly and gracious. We enjoyed having a car so we could do day trips all in all A very positive stay. We would stay again.

This resort might have had an excellent reputation in the past, but it's definitely not what you think it is. They hired a company called O. G. I Multiflex Cleaning Services Ltd to clean their restaurant and pathways, which has a very bad reputation for treating its workers, paying them little to nothing in fact it still owes a lot of people who worked for them in the past and Columbia does nothing about it. That's not the reputation of a decent resort.

5 stars across the board, absolutely fantastic. We stayed in one of the executive suits and it didn't disappoint. The room was fully appointed, including bathrobes, slippers, Molton Brown toiletries, etc, etc.
Breakfast was excellent with choices to satisfy anyone's and everyone's tastes.
The swimming pools were very well maintained with no shortage of pool towels or sunbeds ( rare these days).
All the staff we met were polite, well-informed, and very professional- top service.
My wife and I would have no hesitation in going back.

Great location! We stayed with our 3.5 yr old boy, which was nice, just the beach was not his favourite. It is pebbley and a bit too cold for him, we enjoyed it 🙂

Best hotel on island. Not overpriced and with perfect service. Everything is great here: location, sea, spa, dining options (even simple Greek dishes are delicious), breakfast is beyond expectations. You can also do a little trail nearby and watch beautiful sunset. We are amazed and keep coming back again and again.

We spent 8 days here. We took option: breakfast included. 1. Room - clean, big even for 4 people, towels- awasome, good quality, cosmetics also! Good coffee in the room. Cleaning service - twice a day! 2. Swiming pool - 2 pools, water is warm, no many children, so quite calm place, we could enjoy 3. Breakfast - very good, you can order what you want. Waiters so nice, they took care about us and others. 4. Hotel - not crowded, so we could find a place in the swiming pool even after dinner, nice staff, they could help with everything, you can really enjoy your vacation. It is a place rather for couple or familly not young people who want to play, dance, drink. There are not many young people & not many restaurants. Calm, quite place. Remember when you make a reservation. 5. Hotel's restaurant - dishes are very good , but they are very expensive, so we mostly ate outside the hotel (a lot of guests did the same ). So one minus : price in these restaurants! 6. Fitness & gym - the qood quality of the equipments, there is also squash, spa :) mostly everything!

Recently stayed at this resort and found it to be a mixed experience. On the positive side, the resort itself is beautiful, with well-maintained rooms and overall friendly staff who are always ready to assist. The cleanliness of the hotel, apart from the pools, was of a great standard.

However, there are significant drawbacks that make it unsuitable for families, particularly those with children. Smoking is pervasive throughout the hotel, including at the pools, beach, and every restaurant at every meal. Despite providing feedback multiple times about the smoking in what is advertised as a family-friendly hotel, the response from the staff was that the rooms are non-smoking. This doesn't address the issue of non stop smoking in public areas.

The main pool, prominently featured on the hotel's website, does not allow children to play. This was disappointing as it is misleading for families expecting to use this facility. There is an alternative pool where children are allowed, but smoking is also permitted there, which further detracts from a family-friendly environment.
My daughter was humming in the pool and told by a bar staff to stop humming as it was annoying him but he would openly play music/videos from his mobile.

Additionally, both pools were very dirty during our stay. It was clear that they were not being properly maintained. I would suggest that the staff put on a pair of goggles and take a swim to understand the level of cleanliness that is needed. No plasters etc in the water but it was filthy.

In summary, while the resort has its appealing aspects, the pervasive smoking and unclean pools make it unsuitable for families with children. This is a significant oversight for a hotel that markets itself as a family destination.

Such a lovely hotel! It strikes just the right balance of having lots of amenities while not feeling like a 'big' busy hotel. Very peaceful and beautiful location. The staff were all great, special thanks to Harshana at the pool bar and our lovely housekeeper who did a great job in the room twice a day, always timed perfectly for when we were out at activities (didn't get her name unfortunately).

We had a lovely holiday at Columbia beach resort. The kids loved it and didn't want to leave. Delicious breakfast and good gluten free options. Thanks especially to the head waiter. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Had a Swedish massage by Mary Anne which was just the perfect end. Bit far from attractions and taxi prices are expensive to get around.

Absolutely incredible place and service. The rooms are huge and they have a cooker and microwave. The breakfast is incredible, you have a high rate buffet but also can order fresh French toast or pancakes or crepes or waffles or eggs or omelette etc. The coffee is proper, not just from a 1nbutton machine and is free with breakfast

Huge shout out to the staff who are absolutely incredible. They are so professional and go above and beyond for you. The person I was with cannot walk far so they have us lifts round the resort on the buggys which made a huge difference. There are small shops nearby and lovely restaurants. Highly recommend Perry's cafe and the restaurant at the hotel. Happy hour is 5pm to 6pm daily, the wine is excellent. The cleaners were awesome z did a turn down service with chocolate, we got Nespresso coffee in the room, good tea etc. Got a welcome and farewell drink for free at the bar, they printed off bus timetables, valet parked the car.

The spa is relaxing though the hot tub isn't as warm as it could be or as powerful. The pools are both nice, outside not heated, inside heated a little and us very pleasant. Steam room and sauna are very hot beware. Loungers are great though I imagine in summer it gets busy.

Beach is stony but if you walk left it has sandy bits. The sea is lovely to swim in. There is a hiking cliff walk 1 min away. The gardener's have outdone themselves. The whole resort smells and looks like the garden of Eden. So many gorgeous local plants .

You apparently can't drink tap water in Cyprus so they give you two small bottles a day but you have to buy more. There is a kiosk nearby where you can get 6 big bottles for 3,40 but it's frustrating to buy water. The staff are so lovely though and they go out of their way for you.

Honestly can't recommend this place enough.

Oh and they have about 15 cats and they take them to the vet and feed them and look after them and any strays get adopted by the hotel and looked after too. They are well behaved and only in the garden of the hotel. It's really great.

But the hotel could be more environmentally friendly, they are okay and the bottled water is not plastic etc but if they had solar panels for their energy that would make a big difference.
This is true luxury. Felt like a celebrity or royalty. And the staff are so genuine and kind and other patrons really friendly and lovely too.
