Reviews
Rooms small, have to open toilet door then shut before you're in ... shared room with daughter, no room to swing a cat.
Entertainment zero.
Kids area. I.e pool table etc takes money but doesn't work.
Restaurant is like a canteen, kids screaming and messing with food... Yuk
Beach is poor.
Area, nothing to do, very isolated.
Staff are lovely and helpful and even upgraded room. Still not good 😐
Disappointed to be honest 😕....
Just not what we expected
Definitely not returning
My daughter left her bag at the zoo, and the staff rang them and made sure we got it back.
All staff were brilliant, but wanted to mention the cleaning staff, they were so friendly and made a fuss of the children, leaving a animal (made put of towels!) On the bed morning, Elpida, Artemis, Galina, thank you,
Would highly recommend for a great family holiday. Staff couldn't do more for us.
Rooms - clean, small but adequate in size. Double bed is two single beds pushed together that separate in the night. Mini bar consists of x1 bottle of water per stay. This needs to be filled up in the breakfast room or bar once empty.
Drinks- No bottled water, fizzy drinks are flat. Kids said the slush taste like water. My partner said the beer was nice and not flat.
You can purchase a silver band to get premium drinks. This option was never given to us. Drinks stop at 11pm
Pool - Get up early to get a sunbed. The pool towels cannot be collected before 9.30am. They run out by the main pool very quickly.
No lilos allowed in the pool unless it has a net based bed. Rings are allowed. Under 6 to wear arm bands.
Pool bar that's half in the water you can't order from inside the pool. No drinks allowed in the pool.
Water park - wave pool never had any waves.
Height restriction is 120cm for the slides
Food - lots of options, quality was good. Kids sections with hash browns, nuggets etc. Burger restaurant was also better than expected.
Games rooms - basket ball machine, balls vanished which was a mystery to the staff. Pool table is 1 euro per play.
Entertainment- Day time, lots of nothing. Quality of the games are poor.
Night - Kids disco, 1 game of bingo and to finish the resident DJ.
Onsite Night club closes at 11pm
Beach - water was warm, very rocky and stones. Water shoes needed. Small, man made sand section.
Location - harbour is accessible, 2 buses or a taxi.
I would definitely recommend the hotel!
The hotel is so noisy, with many young children under 10 years old. Pools are crowded and there is no beach spot to go near hotel.
If you have a child there are plenty of activities for kids, including slides, entertainment, cinema, games room and more.
As for the food, there is mostly fast food and pasta available, that is happiness for kids. They also bake and serve tasty pizza during the day. The coffee served was delicious, which was a nice plus.
The staff was friendly and welcoming. The sunset view is beautiful.
Gym is very small with limited equipment: 3 treadmills and dumbbells.
It is important for hotels in Cyprus to emphasize water conservation due to the island's limited water supply. Unfortunately, this hotel did not provide any reminders about saving water, either in the room or at the reception.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel only to those with children up to 10 years old.
Primarily - no air conditioning in the lobby and dining areas - We were sitting there and sweating.
Additionally, we ordered a pool access room were given a room where the AC didn't work. After making a show to try and fix the AC - the hotel team offered us fans!! or room in the 1st floor - it was 27 degrees in the room and was unbearable.
After 2 nights we moved to another room (had to pack everything and waste a day just for packing and unpacking in the other room).
I was asked to leave the room early as they need to prepare it for another family (ALTHOUGH THEY KNOW THE AC DOESN'T WORK). I guess they knew the AC doesn't work before we were given this same room.... Instead of fixing the AC, they just recycle this room for other families who will complain and move to another room after 1 or 2 nights..
As compensation - I was promised to get late check-out on the last day and I agreed as didn't want bad vibes on our vacation.
The last day arrived, and we were asked to move to another room (in the first floor) as another family needed to check-in to our room. Also, the other room was not ready and we were asked to wait 1.5 hours until the other room will be ready (and be with no room in the meanwhile)...
What is the point in late checkout if you need to pack everything and switch rooms? needless to say we couldn't do anything outside the hotel also that day...
Speaking with other families - many rooms had AC problems (either didn't work or bad smell), late checkout was promised to everyone (others also received massage and an upgrade to gold ring as compensation).
The water park was nice, food was average and below.
The little Italy restaurant was nice, the other restaurants were ok.
Bars were good.
I do not recommend this hotel.
Problems can occur in every hotel but a good hotel manages the situation to the benefit of the customer.
In this case we felt the hotel acted dishonestly.
The team are very interactive and remember the kids names which my daughter was so amazed with.
Nina, Linda, Amber, Carlos and Quentin are to name but a few that we had the pleasure of meeting, always taking the time to talk to everyone around the pool and encouraging the daytime activities.
The hotel is immaculately clean with all of the staff constantly tidying and making sure the place is kept to a high standard.
Will most definitely be back
