This hotel is advertised as "Golden beach", but it is not even close to a golden beach, there is a 50m rocky beach which you would need some kind of footwear to cross if you wanted to go into the sea.
Hotel location is very quiet, ideal if you are the type to just relax within the hotel grounds. If you have not hired a vehicle you will be very limited in the things that you can do unless you opt-in to bus excursions.
Overall the staff felt a little disinterested and not too friendly towards us, some staff were exceptional but this was not consistent across all staff.
The food at the buffet restaurant was bland and lacked variety. However, if you are breakfast only it was cheap to add dinner for only 20 euros per guest. We did not get to experience the a la Carte restaurant as it was fully booked for the duration of our stay.
The room was very nice, beds comfortable, balcony and bathroom were nice. However, the bath was very small.
The sun loungers situation was dire, if you did not wake up at the crack of dawn to claim a lounger for the day they mostly all occupied by 8:30am, it seems there is not enough loungers for the number of guests at the hotel.
The general age demographic of this hotel is 50+, so expect the entertainment to be tailored to that demographic also. If you are a younger couple I would suggest looking elsewhere.
If you are an older couple just looking for somewhere to relax, we recommend this hotel, for others I'd say look elsewhere.

Stayed here early July. Couldn't fault a thing . Rooms well appointed with comfortable king size bed (had a superior seaview room ) power shower, safe, fridge , plenty of wardrobe space . Food was wonderful - excellent selection - everything you could wish for and more. Drinks servers were attentive and also brought very welcome ice cold face towels and slices of watermelon to the sunbeds in the afternoon heat. Evening and daytime entertainment provided.

Fantastic hotel for adults only, service is first class, food , drink really nice . Staff go above and beyond they are marvellous ,and work very hard. The only draw back , is getting a sun bed around the pool , that is if you want to get up at 5.30! But that is not the end of the world and there are other areas. It's still a fantastic hotel .

A hugely undersold hotel Atlantica Golden Beach is full of surprises.
We booked not expecting much but we were surprised with how excellent it was with fantastic service, clean rooms and a good location.
We never had issues finding a sun bed to relax on or getting a table for dinner.
The staff are good but Nicoletta deserves a medal and makes the experience what it is with her excellent customer service and People skills.
Overall such a fantastic experience and we hope to return one day.

My husband and I recently decided to take a short vacation to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and choosing Atlantica Golden Beach was the best decision we made. This 4-star hotel features a large outdoor pool surrounded by lush green grass and sunbeds, offering ample space to relax. It also provides free access to a beautiful beach with an additional on-site restaurant.
We highly recommend opting for the all-inclusive package, as the cuisine at this hotel is both varied and delicious. The food deserves a strong 5-star rating.
The staff at the hotel were exceptional. The waiters around the pool and in the lobby bar were attentive, frequently checking if we needed anything to drink. The reception desk staff were also very kind and professional.
Another highlight is that the hotel caters exclusively to adult guests, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Staff here are wonderfully warm and friendly. All inclusive package is good, rather than excellent, but really no complaints. Superior rooms not an expensive upgrade, and improvements enough for the small supplement. Recommend the option if available.

Have had a lovely swim in the sea, but as others have said, beach is not quite the golden sands that the name suggests, but plenty of sunbeds and waiters fill drinks orders, so very easy to chill. Just bring appropriate footwear for walking across the rocks and it's fine.

We found everything about this hotel fantastic apart from the location as we were expecting a golden beach and it was just a rocky coast. The staff were very good especially at the bar. They made you feel important and comfortable at all times. The food and the drinks were really good as well. It is a hotel we would have returned to but not the location as it was dissapointing

First of all this hotel has some of the best services in terms of hospitality.
Nikoleta who serves at the Patio bar made us feel very comfortable, she was extremely attentive to all our requests and gave us some very good recommendations regarding the products on the menu.
Regarding the location, it has an extraordinary view, the room and the common areas were very clean and a big plus is the beach next to the hotel.
At the location we only served breakfast, which was very varied and tasty.
Overall, the location is very good, combining cleanliness, comfort, hospitality and the view. P.S. we loved cats!!!!!

This is our first visit to Cyprus .
The staff are really friendly and not forced .the hotel is the cleanest we have been in for a long time ,and the food is exceptionally excellent. We would definitely come back again .a big thumbs-up to the staff and management. We are still at this hotel 21march .

Extraordinary hospitality and care! I have travelled to a few countries and stayed in a few hotels - I have never come across such proactive hospitality and care before. Kudos to the management and staff of this great hotel - they should have 5 stars just for that. We arrived late (23:30 pm) and we were provided with refreshments and a lunch/dinner voucher as we missed our entire day there. I has arrived late in many hotels and many parts of the world and I was pleasantly surprised with such treatment. The balcony sea views and the rooms were amazing - the sea so clear and blue. The rooms and premises were immaculate. We had entertainment every evening in the hotel.
