We have just returned from Theo sunset bay for a week. The views were nothing but spectacular, the staff were absolutely amazing. The food (all inclusive & bar) was fantastic. The daily water aerobics was great fun - Olivia you really are amazing. The guest relations manager Anastasia literally spent time getting to know the guests along with Olivia. To see such big smiles walking around the hotel each day was something I have never seen before. The only let down was the evening entertainment, Alexandra was fabulous massive hats off to her for getting all the guests involved with her energy. Olivia would run the daily activities around the hotel, even including wine tasting with cheese - that was lovely! We will be returning in September 2026. Thank you to all the staff for their welcoming and service with smiles. The room was cleaned everyday, our cleaner was such a lovely lady. The entire hotel was continuously cleaned, even the public toilets were always in tip top order. This hotel should be higher star rating than what it is. I would 100% recommend this to families.

Hotel room was just ok, AC had problem the first day then they fixed it. A strong smell of mold was there though.

No daily room cleaning in 40 degrees in Cyprus is a huge disappointment.

The staff overall average from reception to the bar, cleaners, except the manager who was really attentive and accommodating i must say.

We are all inclusive and they locked the ice cream fridge so you couldn’t have an ice cream at 9pm, we paid a lot for two rooms to not have ice cream at 9-10pm since we were “all inclusive”.

Wifi the worst ever.

The beach close to the hotel is actually full of huge rocks and is very dangerous so must take a car and drive for about 5 mins to a nice decent beach.

The only thing i liked was the beautiful sea view of the hotel, just that.

Not the best experience overall.

For the money you get better hotels and definitely better experience.

We had a room with a view on the sea! Nice place to sleep and have breakfast. Personally I am not into buffet dining but the breakfast food was good enough. We only had dinner here once and all was well except for the acoustics in the dining hall. Could be solved with acoustic plates in the ceiling.

Wonderful Stay at Theo Sunset Bay Hotel

Our stay at Theo Sunset Bay Hotel was truly delightful and exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. A special thanks goes to Olga and Helena, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. Their kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism made a lasting impression.

The entire staff – from the waiters and bartenders to the housekeeping team – were incredibly friendly, cheerful, and always ready to help. They created a relaxed and positive atmosphere that added great value to our holiday. The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel facilities was impeccable and greatly appreciated.

The food was excellent – varied, flavorful, and always fresh. We especially appreciated the fact that nothing ever ran out and the selection was rich and suitable for both adults and children.

I wholeheartedly recommend Theo Sunset Bay Hotel to anyone looking for a carefree holiday with beautiful views, outstanding service, and warm-hearted staff. Thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful experience – we will gladly return!

The hotel is in lovely location near the sea side, lovely views from the terrace, two outdoors swimming pools, separately apartments, bit stinky in the bathroom because of the drainage system, otherwise good standard. Most of the apartments located to have balcony with the sea view. Nice and helpful staff, delicious food, we had bed and breakfast- lots of choices food wise.
Few meters from the hotel, on the coast side you can find the coast path- mostly built, leading to the Pafos archaeological site- perfect for the bicycle trip- nearly 10 km long-maybe longer. Highly recommend 👌

Great value for money stay, rooms average size but very comfortable beds. Service is first class and the buffet breakfast and dinner are brilliant, lovely and fresh with lots of choices. Only slight negative is you really require a rental car which are very reasonable if booked from UK before travelling as the hotel is about 7 minutes drive back to central Paphos.The views from the hotel are beautiful and I am delighted with our choice to stay at the Theo Sunset Bay Hotel.

The indoor pool is full of pee and completely stinks !
There's mold on the ceiling!
Wallpaper and tiles falling off around the whole room!
The loungers had rips and marks all over them!

Sauna and Steam Room shut! No idea why but they were completely locked! Even though was told by two staff members it's open!!

the noise from our balcony was unbelievablely loud (I have a video to try and show this!) after trying the pool we came straight back to the hotel room to wash as the pool was disgusting!

The cleaning service for our room left dirt everywhere, toilet paper in the sink, not taking out cups! It was not good!

The noise we can hear from our room was unbelievable. Anyone walking past our room, slamming doors, TV next doors, noise from outside! It was insane and I'm surprised we even slept a little bit!

Little to no option for food! Chicken nuggets is basically ALL I HAD!! THE ENTIRE TIME!!!
glasses plates cups cutlery all nasty, lip mark stains, food dirt and loads more!

Bar tenders completely forgetting to make our drinks too, we asked for two drinks and after waiting 20-30 mins we went back over and they said they forgot!!!!
One bar tender was even smoking while serving!!! I'm asthmatic

On the day of check out, our hotel room card stopped working. Then a cleaner came into our room looked at us and said "go" never have I been treated like this in my life

We was actually looking forward to the flight home to get out of this place. This was the complete opposite to the holiday we needed and PAYED FOR!!!

Stay away from this hotel!! Go literally anywhere else

Just arrived home last night from a fabulous week at this hotel. I was traveling with my cousin and her husband to celebrate his birthday and their wedding anniversary, the staff were amazing and made us all feel special. I can definitely recommend this hotel, the food and drink was lovely and menu was vast (something for every taste), we plan to go back.
Well done to all the staff (especially Zoe, Joe, Atina and Elena) for a great week.
