We stayed 3 nights here in between our cycling trips in Europe. It was a splurge and quite worth it! We had a superior room with a terrace and the room was spacious and very comfy.
The staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed the expansive breakfast buffet. Our friend celebrated her birthday and they took care to wish her a happy birthday and give us a surprise cake w candle - so nice!
We also took advantage of the spa w pool and sauna - very convenient.
The hotel location made it easy to explore the heart of the city.
My only concern was the poor quality of the WiFI - very unstable and low rate when connected. They said they were aware and working to fix it.

Maison Messmer is a beautiful hotel that exudes elegance and charm. The decor is sophisticated, and the atmosphere is inviting, making it a lovely place to stay. The rooms are chic and beautifully classical, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the area.
One of the highlights of my visit was the spa, which is a must-try! It offers a range of rejuvenating treatments and a tranquil environment that perfectly complements the hotel’s luxurious vibe.
However, I found the service to be lacking. While the staff were generally friendly, they didn’t seem as attentive as I expected from a hotel of this caliber. There were times when requests took longer than anticipated, which detracted from the overall experience.
The location is excellent, situated near many of Baden-Baden's attractions, making it convenient for sightseeing. The dining options are decent, but again, the service did not match the quality of the hotel itself.
Overall, Maison Messmer has a lot of potential with its stunning ambiance, great location, and fantastic spa, but improvements in service would elevate the experience significantly. I hope they can address this, as it could be an exceptional destination for travelers.

Hello everyone,
Great location and staff is polite and super helpful. The room curtains are a bit flimsy especially for a five star and they were not in the rails properly because of which a little light came through early morning.
Breakfast is super nice and swimming pool area as well. Definitely recommended!!

Fantastic hotel! Beyond fantastic! I stayed there with 160 of my guests and they took care of us the best way possible. Rooms are stunning!! The staff is extremely kind and accommodating, helpful and personable. Especially Gloria, she was excellent, a pleasure to work with her!

We stayed here for one night as the pictures online looked nice, however, I was very disappointed. We arrived late and the person at the reception was clearly unhappy to be there. We asked if we can get some food in the room and got offered frozen pizza. Staff didn’t realise I spoke German and were discussing who would have to take care of it despite none of them wanting to - which was incredibly unprofessional. Room was very basic and dusty. Definitely not what you’d expect from a 5 star hotel.

We stayed two nights at Maison Messmer on a visit to Baden Baden and the Black Forest. BB is itself a wonderful place to visit, and Maison Messmer earns every single one of its five stars.
The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive (thanks Timur 👋🏻), and booked spa treatments and taxis for us.
The breakfast buffet is top notch and they’ve served the only decent cup of tea I’ve had during our Germany trip.
The spa is great, and access is free for guests.
Rooms are comfortable, well maintained and well appointed.
It’s not cheap, but you definitely see where your money is being spent.

What a fantastic hotel, in a beautiful town!
We visited in January and it was just after their peak winter season so we got extra special attention from the staff - a lovely upgrade to a city view room and a birthday message at breakfast! The room was really modern and bed extremely comfy and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, from reception through to the wait staff and spa staff too. We very much hope to come back in the future .
