We stayed for 2 days, and we liked it because it was very close from the public transport station. The room was clean, except the bathroom, where it was a very bad smell. We enjoyed the breakfast, the food was great.

I really liked the old-world charm—I'm not so much into the international chains. Friendly people, nice room, incredible breakfast. Other amenities included a lounge area furnished like a loving room, snacks, nice homey decorations, etc.

It was really a nice room and cozy bed. Overall ambience is perfect! Though the staff dont greet back when I say good morning/ guttentag dunno why it's hard to respond the same and be friendky.. The metro is so close with 24 hours mini stop to buy something you need in the Shell station.

We spent a really good time at Villa Konstanz. The friendly staff and the cosy atmosphere are highly remarkable. In addition, fantastic breakfast and confortable beds. We will come back!

First, you need to understand, this is a budget hotel. If you want luxury, go 1 mile and stay at Marriott or Hyatt. Many reviews are basing this location as a "luxury" venue. It isn't that style... Nice stay and good breakfast. Rooms are cozy and have thoroughly thought out facilities like extra napkins, hair drier and different liquid soaps for shower and hand wash. But wifi does not work in the room 20 where we stayed. Rest is all lovely.

It's good value for money, there is transport very close, and the staff is very friendly. However the bathroom is very small (if that's something you care for) and if you get a room for 2 people, you might get two separate beds instead of a double (we asked but they didn't give us a double). Also, if your room is far from the reception, the WiFi is not working.

The room was all right and the staff was helpful. However, reception is only open until (22.00?) or so, and they only take payment in cash, which can be rather inconvenient. The room keys were attached to a massive room tag that isn't comfortable to carry around unless you have a handbag or huge pockets.

i only was there for one night but i can say that we had everything we needed and even more and for the low price it was totally all right. our 4-bed room was very clean and we even had a small balcony. the only thing that i missed was an air conditioner because it was too loud to open a window and late at night it still was pretty hot.

Considering the great value and unbeatable location in relation to the key sites of Berlin centre I am very pleased with the apartment and particularly the breakfast buffet! It would be a five star review if they redecorated a bit (fill in the chips in the wall).

This hotel is perfectly situated. The rooms are rather old as is the furniture inside. The beds are terrible but can do for one-two nights. The bathroom is clean and in perfect condition. The hotel is beautiful, equip with an old timy elevator, spiral stairs and a free breakfast it is a nice place to stay on the west end of berlin. It is very close to a train station. My room had a balcony with a nice view of our neibors bathtub. The breakfast would be nicer with some soy milk or other vegan alternatives.

Status 2013: 3 stations to Alexanderplatz, 4 to Potsdamer Platz (closest station is Spittelmarkt, just across the street). Although the hotel is directly at the busy road, the windows (at least some of them) are in an yard direction, where also parking places are (reserve upfront if needed). On Sunday you find a free parking place anywhere around. The rooms are nice, clean and I have not missed anything...

The hotel is very cheap for the Berlin, but too old for European standards. For the condition of the interior the price is unreasonably high. The hotel is neighboured with living apartments and offices and does not have a working lift. The positive side is late check in option and helpful staff.

I stayed here in 2005 and again in 2006 for the Berlin love parade. This hotel served my needs and was very affordable. The location was excellent being right next door to the Europa centre. Transport links are also very convenient. I'd stay here again in 2023 but unfortunately they are fully booked for my date.
