I've got the room with windows on the Street side at 1st floor, and it was really loud (it would be a problem in the summer time because there is no air conditioner) . Sheets and pillows were in good condition and clean. Tv was flat, but qite old and with maybe about 12 channels. But who would prefer to watch tv instead of Berlin city ;P In my case, the worst part of the room was the bathroom. Toilet...

Very nice clean hotel with free parking. Nice that it is so close to downtown. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Fanciest automated coffee / cappuccino machine. Loved it. Would stay here again
The location is great, in the center of the city and parking is included. The breakfast is good, the food is ok. The rooms look worse than in the hotel pictures and they smell strange. The room was not cleaned properly. It was not dirty, but it could have been better.
Good hotel, clean rooms and bathrooms, nice beds, easy communication with the staff. Highly recommended! Good price/quality relation!
Food is fresh and good, rooms are very clean.

I had a nice in the hotel. Friendly reception and very fair price.
The hotel was good everything worked properly and the little kitchen in the room made having breakfast so easy. The only problem was that the room was street-side and the noise in the night was quite loud. Apart from that I did not have any problem.
This is a no frills basic hotel. Clean and feels rather newly renovated. Sheets could be of better quality (my bed sheet was so thin it was basically see-through). There's no ac in the rooms so on a hot summer's day you would need to sleep with the window open. Bring earbuds if easily disturbed by the city noice.
Nice location and good service. The reception is off after 8pm so gotta be aware of that. The room was not bad but the bed sheet was not clean. There was some black dust on the bed sheet. Reasonable price! The picture is the tube station that the hotel is near to.
The area surrounding the hotel is full of restaurants, clubs and bars. It's a little noisy, but there are a lot of people, so you may feel safe. Access to the center is also good. The downside is that there is no air conditioning and no lift. It's a little smelly outside.
not worth it at all - there was cold as hell because of the old windows with gaps - there was no elevator - the reception is not 24/7 which was not obvious during the booking - nozzles in the shower was overcalcinated and clogged

The buffet breakfast was tasty and the dining room was bright and had a nice view. The building is very unique and in a very quiet residential area. Room was air conditioned and had blackout curtains
Always a pleasure. Quiet neighbourhood. Solid breakfast, good rooms at excellent rates.
Great stay as always in a quiet suburb of Berlin, great breakfast and excellent value for money
If you like quiet and spartan, but spacious, rooms you will love this place. Formerly a Nunnery for Teaching Missionaries, little has changed from its origins.
Very good place to stay in. Personnel is super.
Very friendly staff, good small children. The equipment is not very modern and could use a renovation.

Very good service and massive value for money. The reception staff make or break an experience. Today evening I had the pleasure of running into the lady who manages the affairs in the evening. Even though I had already checked out, she agreed with a huge smile to allow me to stay in the lobby for close to 3 hrs with absolutely no fuss. She is the sort of personnel every establishment which thinks...
Good rooms and helpful staff. Not so good for light sleepers as it's right next to a railway line, but personally I slept very well indeed.
The design is good, interior looks nice. Location is convenient for getting around the city. However, there are several drawbacks. 1. The place is too noisy. You can hear S Bahn trains even with your windows closed. 2. Internet stops working every 5 minutes. 3. The toilet is pretty strange. It has only one door which serves either as a door for the shower or for the toilet but not both. Also toilet...
Internet/wifi is very poor. Hotel is located directly next to S-Bahn tracks, with a train every 5-10 minutes. Rooms are very clean and spacious, comfortable bed, nice shower. Very good location near S-Bahn and Kudamm (center of west Berlin) is a few minutes by foot.
Good hotel but the night crew is really rude. I was treated with a lot of cynicism. I suggest the hotel to re think it's staff.
Good and pretty quiet hotel for what you pay. Many good and cheap(mostly asian) restaurants around there.Bus runs all night X34 and M49 brings you to bahnhof Zoo.Wilhemdorfer Shopping street close. You can take U7 to Rudow and change to 24 hours bus there to Schönefeld Airport.Unfortenately they didn't clean the room every day but would stay here again if the price is same.hardly any people for breakfast...

The hotel was very welcoming. They gave us a free early check-in. The rooms was very well kept. The neighborhood was very good. And the staff was not bothering us in any way at all. On the whole was very good and value for money.

Frendly staff, good breakfast , clean and cosy place
Located on Kaiserdamm street, close to metro station and Opera Theatre, Ibis Styles an der Oper is appropriate for people with no much claims. Some cafes nearby, grocery store in walking distance. Street noise has almost no effect, the rooms are warm in winter and the temperature can be easily adjusted. Minibar available. Bathroom is light, but one must watch out in the slippery bathtub. The breakfast...
Comfortable place, big rooms, old style bathroom. There's a supermarket and a metro station very near the hotel.
The Hotel is sufficient. Is not outstanding. The employees, but all in all very nice. The price-performance ratio is top, the Hotel is very Centrally located!
Hotel has opera as central theme and also the rooms are designed in this theme. There is a subway close to the hotel which creates some noise.
The Hotel I had chosen, as it was quite good for me in the distance to the venue, where I was going. The staff was very friendly, even if there were, in spite of Accor LeClub platinum status, no welcome drink. But after all, that had worked with the room upgrade to Comfort. The Breakfast was good and sufficient. The Wi-Fi was actually pretty fast, only a evening, then, but a little slow. All in...

Great location. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the summer and fall. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great. Typical pension breakfast with lots to choose from including a nice Expresso machine and a good variety of loose teas. Very quiet at night. Lots of hiking trails right there. The beds were a little stiff for my liking but I'd come back here again.
We were looking for a relatively cheap hotel in the neighborhood of Berlin for a course that my wife had to do on a Sunday. The hotel that we found was Seehotel Grunewald. The price was quite low, so we expected a moderate hotel, but we got much more than what we paid for. The location is really amazing! it's in the middle of a beautiful park with some nice beaches at walking distance of the hotel...
We stayed in a family room, so double bed and single bed, there was even a sofa bed for two more people. The room was spacious, and once we opened the windows it was more comfy. But very still and warm in June! Fans would be helpful. The bathroom was tiny, with a very small shower tray. We arrived around 345Pm, and the bikes for hire were already locked up. But we walked nearby to a small silty beach...
Beautiful view near the water, lots of walking/biking trails in the forest, very close to the city.
Located near the water you can sit outside whike eating. The staff seems to be really professional and is quite friendly. The food is tasty and not as expensive as one would think at such a beautiful place. I can only review the restaurant part since i did not spend a night here.
Pretty to go to, not much else to do other than walk/hike.

Good price and a fine breakfast included. A Safety Box would be fine.
Excellent budget option Fantastic for a budget hotel. Large comfortable room with a good sized-bathroom and powerful shower. The included breakfast was of a good quality, and a typical German-style spread. The hotel is situated a little way out of the city itself, but can be found in a quiet and pleasant area with excellent transport links.

Hotel ok nice but if I was asking for cap of coffe at 21:00 it was not possible to get.
I have been to the Solitaire hotel quite a few times since I live nearby and every time my family comes to visit me they reserve a room there. Clean, comfortable, good local transport connections. Great value for money
The hotel is placed in a quiet street close to public transport. It has been a good place to stay in our visit in Berlin. It's recommendoble for other travelers to Berlin.
We went for a student trip. All very right, aside a person bad. Good breakfast, room little but ok, everything working, good position. Ok for groups and single
Nice rooms, comfortable, not noisy. Good breakfast. Wifi slow but works. Economic. Great quality to price ratio.
A reasonably priced cute little hotel. Rooms aren't very modern, but clean and functional. Located what seemed like a safe area, close to public transport connections, although it is a little far from the city centre: takes about 20-30 min to Alexanderplatz. Would recommend!

Nice hotel. Clean rooms, good breakfast, good location.
The basic price is reasonable for the performance offered. The Breakfast is good. The rooms are spacious and clean. Additional offerings are expensive. A large dog costs 15 Euro a small dog, 8 EUR extra. The Parking costs. I 19 Euro and every hour of the later time of 10 Euro not available for check out, absolutely is the paid Wi-Fi. Overall the hotel was pretty decent and cosy. Service was a OK but given that i did not spend much time in the hotel, I can't complain. The breakfast was also good if you are not particular about having too much variety.
Very close to the city centre.....Bus and tram in front of the door. Clean rooms, very nice staff. However, in the rooms, a lot would have to be renovated. Showers is not so great, either the water is cold or hot, the water pressure is very low. Otherwise, we were satisfied.

Travel to Berlin, and staying at CAlma was our best experience. Excellent location, cleanliness U.S. and exceptional food. But the best was the treatment from Abdel, he was very kind, he tried to communicate in Spanish and kept our bags. I recommend it.
Everything was great. Unfortunately there is no parking for the car in the immediate vicinity. There is a parking garage about 7 minutes walk away for 17 EUR per day.
Although the hotel sparrow is small and well-equipped, it is located in a residential area, but there are many restaurants nearby. The breakfast at nine o'clock is not bad, and the normal European water bottle level is an option that can be considered
Hello, We had a family room. Actually two rooms connected with door arch and a bathroom. comfortable beds. We were sleeping well. Room has absolutely enough space for four persons ( 2 adults and 2 children, age 13 and 17 years). Room is tidy and bright. Decent hotel but many things to consider. - limited parking and very tight. My Ford Explorer can barely make it, inches to spare. - Beds were comfortable and it was quiet enough to keep the windows open and that kept us cool at night. - No laundry on site. I called ahead of time and I was told we could do our laundry which is not the case. - the sixth floor cannot be reached by the elevator and has...
Positive points: The windows have excellent soundproofing, so even though my room faced the street, it was perfectly quiet inside. Great service upon arrival — the receptionist was very attentive, quick, and efficient. Negative point: Only after settling in did I realize that my room didn’t have air conditioning. It seems the hotel was aware of this, as there was already a portable cooler in the...
The room is spacious, the price and proximity to the city is a big plus. However the upkeep of bathroom is quite poor as there was visible mold and dust in the corners. Also good to note that parking in the hotel premise is 24 euros per day.
In general hotel is very nice. In my room found that shower holder was broken, mould on a windows, and a bit dirty walls (require painting). When I was checkin-out, told this issues to reception, and they thanked me for notice. Breakfast is very good, calm place, bed was very nice, TV had more than 100 channels. Next time definitely will stay there. Nearby the hotel many small shops and cafe.
The Hotel is close to the Underground station U1 & U3. Situated back from the Main Street, it’s quiet and comfortable. Very clean and the staff are attentive to all enquires.
Front desk service was amazing. Just a little small in places and awkward to move around. We did have a stroller and small child though.

At first I was really put off by this hotel. It had hostel vibes and the rooms were cramped and dingy. But the overall hotel had so much personality and the breakfast was terrific. The staff were very accommodating (extra pillows etc) and the area was quaint. I wouldn’t stay here again but I was not displeased.
Rooms require renovations. There was some weird smell when I arrived, I had to leave window open. Bathroom also had issues with water going slowly out of the drain. Friendly and helpful stuff.
Very well located in the center of Berlin, with plenty of transport options nearby (tram, metro, and buses). The staff was really nice, breakfast was good and served until late (11 a.m.). The rooms were clean and comfortable. I really recommend this hotel! :)
An absolutely delightful experience. Eclectically decorated hotel rooms that are a delight and a wonderful breakfast with great variety. The staff is also friendly and helpful and help make the visit even better
Very quaint and comfortable hotel. Well situated with walking distance to tower and cathedral in Berlin. Staff very warm and courteous. Small details to deco makes it warm. My wife loved the musical boxes in elevator. Rooms are comfy and clean
The hotel is a great option for a short stay in Berlin! Good value for the money. The atmosphere created by the decoration and furniture is inspiringly edgy. I really enjoyed my stay. I rated it four instead of five stars because hotel Birgit is addressing the basic needs for an economic travel budget. It is not the kind of place that seeks to impress with overwhelming display of luxury.

Situated in the Neukölln neighbourhood of Berlin right next to a cemetery. The Hotel is slightly outdated, but really clean and tidy! You get a extremely simple but clean room. The staff is very friendly and the rates are cheap. If you get a room street side a huge minus will be the traffic noise.

This property was a great location for us as we were visiting friends who lived in the same street. Door was a little hard to unlock with key.
Comfortable and friendly Hotel A little tied but comfortable and friendly hotel in location that could have slightly better facilities and transport links. Breakfast a little expensive, but general good value for money.
Stayed 2 nights here in March when in Berlin for a weekend. The place is a 3 star hotel and that's what you're getting. The rooms are fine, the beds are fine, the bathroom is fine. Very well located with spacious rooms. Might be a bit a confusing to move around the hotel area at first but once you get it all is great. Walking distance from the zoo, very close to a nice shopping area with charming cafes. Really easy to move around from there to other interesting places in tow.
The room was very big. The decor was very nice. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was very smelly. Maybe something wrong with the drainage. Also the shower head didnt work properly.
