Perfect place to get your workout in since the elevator is not working.
We got a free wake up call on the first night at 08am sharp thanks to the construction work done inside the building.
Speaking of construction, finding the entrance to the hotel was a feat in itself as the road is blocked. We had to circle around the place like vultures to find the entrance.
A really cute little detail about the room is that they skipped the water kettle in favour of a sink by the bedside. Such an extraordinary idea. But since you don't have a bathroom, it maybe a sensible thing to do.

There is no heating in the room, there is no hairdryer in the room, the bathroom is in 3 parts. One star is even too much for this...

I really enjoyed my stay in ibis. The room is basic but very comfortable and clean.
The lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly.
WiFi was free. I didn't have breakfast so no comment. The location was excellent very close to tramp.

I would say it is the worst I have ever stayed and seen in my 50 years of life but the word worst would be too inadequate for this hotel. Definitely do not go and do not stay, it would be cleaner to stay on the street, insects have taken over the room as a home. Fungus has formed in the room, the bathroom fountain has become moss. There is air conditioning in the room but it does not work, when I ask, the receptionists say we do not have air conditioning and it does not work. There was an incredible amount of dust in the room, I am very disgusted, I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Berlin is expensive, sure — but this hotel felt overpriced even for being far from the city center. Overall, very poor value for money.
The room was not very clean — there was dust everywhere, and we even found a used chewing gum stuck on the soap bottle in the shower, probably left by previous guests. The air conditioner didn’t work; it only made loud noises without actually heating the room.
The toilet area was extremely cramped. Although we’re both fit, it was still difficult to use comfortably. There was also no hairdryer in the room — you need to request one during the day and leave a €20 deposit. We only saw this written in the elevator; it should have been mentioned at check-in.
Also worth noting: after 10 PM, the reception is closed, and you can only reach someone by phone.
On the positive side, the area was very quiet and felt safe, and the bed was comfortable. But still, this was one of the worst price-performance experiences we’ve had.

The low rating on the Service is because of the (so calped) Helpline if we needed help. The staff in the hotel itself was very friendly. Although it was kinda anoying that most of the time there was no one to find. I accidentaly left my card in the room when i locked it. we went to the reception but there was nobody there and the doors were locked. We called the hotline and all they said was "There should be someone there" and "Try the code to get in your room" without further explaination. And we couldnt ask what they meant cause they just hung up. After calling them 4 or 5 times they finally send someone to unlock the room for me. I was stuck outside my room for atleast 2 hours and it turned out that someone was just in the hotel all the time. And 2 days later my sisters keycard declined and the helpline again does absolutely nothing. We were in poland at the time so now we had to drive all the way back just to help her out. The helpline was absolutely horrible!

Heating does not work. Turning it up yields no result. The sink is clogged. There is nothing here, you can not even make yourself a cup of tea. Any decent hotel would at least provide you with that. It is so basic and spartan. Yet paying 80€ a night for this sham. Prison would be more comfortable, in fact the room looks like a cell. The matras is very hard. Wifi is not always working, twice this evening there was a connection to the wifi but there was no data. There is no assistance at night to either fix the sink or make sure the connection works. What a rip off.
It appears we were the only ones in the hotel. That is why the heater was turned off. The next day after complaining we were given a different room on a lower floor “where the heating would reach”. The lady was very nice and we were given a free breakfast as compensation. Very sweet. It softened me. However that first night was still below standard

What you get for a budget hotel I guess .Looks a little dated in places .Staff polite and helpful. Room was ok no thrills only issue was the mattress isn’t the most comfortable. Ideal place if you just want a bed after a day of exploring the city .
